The last shot effect on the Circuit Breaker doesn't just work when firing the gun. It can also be used to spice up throwables. Let's see how much better it can make throwing knives.

Use throwables in vats. That way you can target the head. Simply enter vats immediately after you release the throwable
It seems to be super effective against robots. One shotting that sentry bot. Hints the name circuit breaker, I guess. And it being pre-war tech. 🤣
Love it when there's a fun but probably unintended effect that isn't game breaking. 😂 Going to try this out with pumpkin grenades later. I picked a good time to start a new gunslinger. The poison damage on the alien blaster seems much stronger now too.
Secondary effects like poison, fire, cryo should all be doing more damage since the update since they are now affected by damage perks.
@@wiggle_plays yeah it's a lot more than I expected. The weapon card is showing over 100 poison damage on a level 30 AB! One shot kills on level 50 ghouls at the jamboree last night with crits. Pretty sweet for a baby full health gunslinger :)
Anglers and gulpers were unimpressed with the poison damage, I suspect cryo is still the king overall for that gun. Of course by the end of that event I'd already outgrown all of the gear I gave that character a couple hours prior.
I'll have to try something with poison. I wonder if Kabloom is stronger too.

You did mention it in the video. If you get something in a legendary effect of weapons weight by X amount it will help reduce the weight.
All thrown weapons assume the effects of your equipped gun.

The weight of throwing knives is the deal breaker.
I wish throwing weapons had a buff or certain melee weapons can be thrown like a spear or the war glaive but at least resistant enemies had a ranged weakness again
I’m pretty sure any damage perk on the gun would activate on the throwing knife like Bloodied/junkies/ anti armor. It for sure works with grenades since Angry Turtle has a grenade build for xp farming
Try tomahawks since there's a perk magazine that boosts the damage of them by 15 or 25% I don't remember the name of the magazine
I wonder if the effect kills surrounding creatures on minimum health during mutated events where only melee damage can kill them.

I want to try poison quills in vats with hack and slash. I'm not sure if thrown counts as melee. If it does, im gonna shock and poison everything in my path
You want unyielding thorn armor and an instigating melee weapon that applys bleeds to really boost this use the knives from a distance to stun everyone and then run in and stealth murder them all in 1 hit each after the bleeds eat them
Use sheepsquatch shards instead of basic throwing knives

I’m aware there’s 2 other throwing weapons, so they not work with the circuit breaker ? I think it’s the Tomahawk which does a lot more damage so it might oneshot super mutants
Tomahawk is definitely stronger and would work with this. The reason I chose the throwing knife is that everyone knows that plan by default and the tomahawk plan is kind of rare.
Would a molotov burn continuously pull off the circit breaker stun?
I didn't test that. Interesting idea though.
You can get it to auto prok with other ability s reflect damage works fast shooting turrets kill them self easy.

when you start at level 2, crafting 10 is pretty helpful
Martial Artist in strength and armor with weapons weight reduction works on throwables.

It turns out that you can just bash them with the empty gun and getr the stun effect, A new melee weapon!
Even as a low-level player, I never used throwing knives. But now...
If you throw near head and vats with concentrated fire on, you can head shot

you can use vats if you time it right. as soon as the throwing animation starts, you can enter vats :)
Also, i think throwing knifes count as melee too so Id try ninja perk for 90% more damage for sneak attacks lol

Prolly really only a concern for non 1st players, which does suck.

Yes.
You can use them in vats just prepare the throw and when you let go quickly go vats and normally it should work

While im glad people are finding creative builds around the Circuit Breaker. As someone who was hoping for a weapon that would really make gunslinger builds pop, Im disappointed with it.

yes but he chose throwing knives bc its a default plan and tomahawk is a rare plan

They aren't melee weapons.
@@wiggle_plays This has been patched afaik, they're now viable against resilient mutation.
They work against resilient but don't benefit from melee perks.
Throwing knives are considered explosives now.

I don't know if it's intended or not so I can't say if it'll be patched. I wouldn't consider this an exploit though. It's not exactly game breaking or over powered.
Not an exploit, no. All thrown weapons assume the effects of your equipped gun. If you've got an Anti-Armour weapon equipped your grenades for instance will also have the Anti Armour effect. Cool that it works on throwing knives as well. Throwing knives also count as melee weapons for resilient enemies, as per the last patch.
Full health without weapon weight reduction? What happened to your rolls lol

It's not about carrying but about owning. Honestly it's great for content creator like you.
Throwing knives should have mods, have flaming knives, explosive and flaming knives
600 with no xp buffs and no team play. Imagine how how the point would be with xp boost

You know when you access the pip-boy it cancels throw-a-ball weapons but I suppose it’s not much so it doesn’t matter that much I guess🤷
Also, you can do crit damage outside of vets providing you get headshot
It will get patched because people post things like this on youtube.
