Disclaimer: This TAS literally cheats, the seed changer (built into GM8Emu) is used heavily in order to showcase what a run with (near?) perfect RNG might look like, the game has also been modified quite a bit to allow for use of window trick, make the cursor visible and to remove textboxes (present on the prism screens, which GM8Emu cannot handle as of the publication of this video), among other things.
Also the music is changed to be higher quality.

i like to imagine the kid is just taunting all these bosses by immaculately dodging everything in the most inneficient and risky way imaginable. really feels like a payback for all the suffering k3 caused to the kid

I was able to run gm studio game "I wanna have a good WIFI" under libTAS, but it's very bugged.
i tried using libtas in the past but i only got it to work for linux games

Was the secret 1 skip patched in the current K3 build? I recall Stonk explaining in his old 100% run that there was a glitch that made you go directly to the item and you only had to do the backtrack.
this has been brought to my attention during the making of the tas and i couldnt replicate it so i assume its been patched

the final achievements to get are the death achievements, normally what people do to farm these is save next to a spike and hold down right and r or similar, however this can only give you 1 death every 2 frames at best, for 65000 deaths this would take more than 40 minutes, so if there was a way to get 1 death every frame it would immediatly cut the time needed for death farming in half
the only known way to do this is to get softlocked by saving inside of a killer, the fastest known way of doing this being to move the spikes at the start of rukito area out of the way using a trigger and then saving in a spot where they would be on respawn, then spam r every frame, however this requires the altered physics from crayon
on screen 1 of i wanna buy the crayon there is a trigger that changes your physics so you get much higher jumps, you can preserve these physics by leaving crayon using secret 5 as this does not reset your physics to normal, even though we have to go out of our way to get it this is still faster than the next fastest known softlock, that being to save inside of one of the expanding and contracting apples on the second screen of payment (11:40)

I might be wrong but do hitboxes in Wakoala avoidance (1:05:00) even work? A lot of times cherries collide with The Kid and don't kill him.
theres a small white dot in the middle of the kid, thats the hitbox, same thing happens in cyber and blue area for example
You have a good eye. In addition to what nick said, your hitbox is also lagging 1 frame behind you. So you can end up in a situation where your dot is inside a projectile but you are still alive because your hitbox is not. In conclusion, no, the hitboxes don't really work so well after all.

Can you explain how you recorded in such high quality? Recording while playing in windowed mode for me gives very poor quality. I’d like to record in better quality but probably not to the extent you guys recorded this video in 😅
if you are talking about tas recording, we used a custom gm8emulator build which would allow us to dump the frames of the playback directly to a video lossless, then later upscaled the video to 4k for youtube, the same would not work for rta gameplay
actually it seems its possible to make it work rta aswell but this would also only work if you can run the game on emu

forgot to reply to this until now, updating the tas isnt really that straight forward, wed end up just having to completely redo it pretty much and none of us think that the added/changed content really justify remaking the entire 100% tas

we found that spamming jump every frame is possible and doesnt let you get off the ground, then found that it actually causes you to hover so you could spam jump every frame and just hover over obstacles

you get this crystal on random chance, when entering the portal the game does coinflips to determine whether you get it or not, you have to win twelve in a row to get it, we get it first try here

for this tas we used gm8emulator but it is also possible to tas fangames with hourglass and libtas, if you are looking to tas gm8 games id suggest using the beta release of gm8emulator to get started

@@dimadanadji На одном месте были шипы, активировав триггер, шипы поднимают наверх, затем он идёт к точке сохранения, и сохраняется уже на месте, где были шипы. Чтобы это сделать, как раз нужен баг с более низкой гравитацией со второго стейджа.
После этого, при каждом рестарте вы всегда умрёте от шипа. (Возможно, это привело к софтлоку)
Это единственное место, где возможно пройти с более низкой гравитацией.

@@dimadanadji you can farm deaths anywhere but normally it takes 2 frames to get one death which would take ~45 mins, if you manage to save inside of a killer however you can reset every frame so it only takes half as long, there are three spots where this can happen, one is in magnanimity but it is heavily rng dependant and we didnt choose it because getting deaths that fast without softlocking the game is impossible without cheating, theres a spot in payment screen 2 but it takes longer to get to than the softlock in rukito we found, so we do it because the only spot which would be faster is technically impossible to be faster and we do it at the end of the run because it softlocks the game, you could do it earlier without softlocking but again itd be like 10 mins slower
