  • One of the most beautiful and my favorite travel destination in Pakistan is Skardu. Skardu is located in Gilgit Baltistan region, it is a land of diversities and a true heaven for a traveller. It has lakes, peaks , meadows, waterfalls and beautiful scenic views all together. One of the few attractions in Skardu are Shangrilla resorts, kachura lake, sarfranga dessert, sadpara lake, budha rocks, khumash and mantokha waterfalls many tourists around the globe visits amazing Skardu every year.
While travelling to Skardu from Lahore by air you travel through Naran valley, karakoram highway and Himalaya mountain ranges to witness the amazing view and also you can see Nanga Parbat (world's 9th highest while 2nd highest peak of Pakistan) on your eye level. The current government has taken a great initiative to boost tourism in Skardu by connecting it through flights from 5 major cities of Pakistan. Moreover, recently Skardu airport has been upgraded as an International airport by Prime Minister Imran Khan himself. In this episode we will experience the air travel from Lahore to Skardu.
So this initiative makes Skardu a most favourable travel destination 2022.
