Who knew the "Happiest Place on Earth" is also "The Place Where You Go Bankrupt After Buying a Sandwich"
and have a conorary
Twenty dollars is rather reasonable for the Blue Bayou restaurant where that’s served...
In fact I’ve had other versions of the Monte Cristo as well and they’re usually the same price in a normal, non-Disney restaurant. A churro outside of Disney? A dollar or two... in Disney? Five and then some. The sand which though is usually the same price either way, it’s not a subway 5 dollar foot long, it’s a gourmet masterpiece of flavors that shouldn’t be paired together, but magically work amazing ☝️
MOOD
It's also the place my nerd Fandom goes to die
@@HylerMusic Wow, you eat in expensive places. A normal Monte Cristo can easily be found for $10-12 in a good restaurant. Even with the beignet style preparation, anything over $17 seems a bit steep.

I read this in cheerleader

these prices are disgusting
Disney has raised its ticket prices every year since 1995. I have a ticket stub that says 3 day hopper pass for $121! I can't afford to go ever again. Maybe that's why Universal Orlando is seeing a jump in visitors during the "slow" season...
largol33t1 Universal is about the same price retail to Disney. Never been to DisneyLand but I’ve been to DisneyWorld many times and Universal/IOA three times...will probably go more now that I get free tickets.
When you go to Disney you don’t think about money just enjoy it and worry about the money late. I’ve been to All 4 main parks and both water parks in DisneyWorld many times along with Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, Disney Cruise, Aulani (O’ahu) I’m not rich at all barely make 45K its all about how you spend your money.
It’s from Disney land what do u expect
😂😂😂
I remember going to Disney with the family long ago, my grandma didn’t ride almost anything but she did get really hungry while we where in a ride, when we came back to her, she had bought a turkey leg and a coffee (she didn’t speak English) watching my grandma eat that turkey leg with such joy was amazing, just for that it would be my number one.
She’s no longer here but I can’t thank you enough for bringing back that memory to me, damn I miss her.
Those t legs are so good
looks gd, but so so , DRY !
I'll eat basically everything. Im like rhett when it comes to food. Im not even a little picky but for some reason. A straight up turkey leg is a bit too rich in my opinion like rhett said.
This story put a huge smile on my face, thanks for sharing it!
Bloody reading your comment from start to finish had me on a emotional roller coaster
There's been many a interesting shirts on this show over the years.. But the shirt Rhett is wearing today.. That's really something.
I called it a blouse. My wife called it a top. Consensus, not a shirt.
He is really pimped out. :D
Wait a minute. So none of you realize its a remake on the red hot chilli peppers logo ?????
that's link, not rhett
....it's clearly a button-down shirt.
Rhett wearing that shirt munching on that turkey leg, gave me Flintstones vibes

Brendon O so true😂
I Love how they act like they can't bite off the same corndog but have literally mommy bird/ baby birdied eachother
erykasrpeach Rhett doesn't bite after link because of link's herpes. But it obviously wouldn't matter if Link took a bite after Rhett.
Stephanie Ann Link has Herpes?!
Alex Flores He's got cold sores. Its a strain of herpes. It isn't the sexually transmitted disease that you think of when you hear herpes. But yes, they've talked about it dozens of times. Unless you're being sarcastic I'm surprised you haven't heard them speak of it.
I’ve honestly been watching them for years and never heard them say anything about link having herpes. Unless that just slipped through somehow.
43Mathews43 It must have because even though I can't remember what episodes they are in due to short term memory loss, I know they've done it. It was just recently too. Like in the past 2 or 3 months. It usually doesn't come flare up but when it does its pretty noticeable, usually stress or a facial injury like a mouth burn can make it flare up. I'm sure if you type it in to CZcams you'll find a video they talked about it in. Something like 'link's herpes' and CZcams will probably At least bring up a specific video they've talked about it in.
The chilled pickle is my favourite low blood pressure Disneyland savoury snack and the chocolate covered frozen banana is my favourite sweet snack. Only $175 for the two.

I feel confronted by the possibility that waiting in line and standing in the sun all day contributes to the glory of Dole Whip.
Bunny Loot not if you go to the app and order online
You feel confronted?
Confronted? Are you sure that's the word you were looking for?
Bunny Loot fun fact. Act like ur going on the ride behind there and there’s an extra ordering station. Keep it secret 😳
The heat certainly makes it better.. you can buy the mix at your local grocery store, which is exactly how they make it, so.. same thing.

Not going to lie, looks like Rhett took a pit-stop to the Rainforest Cafe before hitting up Disney 👌
ShaynainShambles one of the best restaurants there
In Florida at animal kingdom there is a rain forest cafe there
Oh that's really cool! :) In CA, it's in Downtown Disney before you ever even enter the park
Yep, i worked there, rainforest cafe is in Disney World :)
Downtown Disney (now Disney springs) in Florida also has a Rainforest Cafe. There’s 2 for some reason.
Mother of God man $8.75 for a corndog is highway robbery
Matthew Anderson for a drink and a bag of chips (with the corn dog) with the annual pass holder discount it is $11.
The price includes sliced apples or a bag of chips. You can ask for just the corn dog and save yourself some money. Or if you go to the saloon in fronteirland it'll come with fries, which I think is more worth the price. Considering it's a theme park, it's really not bad!
Yeah, but $21 for a piece of Swiss, some processed ham, and 2 pieces of bread is robbery-er. It'$ all bad.
Unfortunately all food places at all theme parks take the piss with their pricing. They know people aren't going to leave the park and come back after lunch.
No, highway robbery would be if someone drove up next to you on the highway, waved at your to roll down your window, and stole your corndog out of your hand
How many people have never been to Disneyland/World yet? (I’m in my twenties)

Once you’ve had a Disney pass for a while you start to realize that the rides are not the best part of Disneyland lol it’s the food! and the nostalgic feeling of being a child and happy YET being an adult and drinking a beer lol it’s also really cool relaxing and watching live bands and not worrying too much about the rides :)
Roxana Rodriguez Exactly!!!
I went to Disney World when I was 12, and my favorite ride was the monorail that ran right through the lobby of our hotel.
You know Rhett and Link are loaded when they don’t even comment on these crazy prices.
Not gonna lie, when I was in Disneyland in Anaheim, the turkey legs from my childhood memories did not live up to my adulthood expectation. I also am not a fan of ham or pork anything as I grew up. The cones became a favorite as the cornucopia was slightly sweet mixed with savory (gotta try the chili one! its amazing!!) and if I was honestly speaking..my bank account drowned in Churro purchases the whole 3 days I was there...
It's peak summer at Florida.
You have been at Disney for 7 hours.
The humidity is 99% and it has been 90 degrees all day long.
It sprinkled in the afternoon which was nice, but did nothing good for the humidity.
The crowd is shoulder to shoulder.
You have a sunburn.
Mickey is coming on a night parade and you start to begin if its all worth it.
THEN... THENNNN dad comes back with a mickey ice cream bar and ALLLL becomes well (and you still wonder if it's worth it).
I'm giving tourist a real life situation of whats gonna happen when they visit Disney World this summer. lol
Me in about two weeks
Bring a little of everything cause we have had 68 degree weather, torrential down pours, tornado threats, 90 degree weather, and freeze warnings all in one week. (Not kidding) lol

Rhett eating a corndog (a hot dog dipped in cornbread): The outside is almost like cornbread consistency.
Sick Sticks It’s not cornbread it’s batter that they dip it in
Yeah, cornbread batter
Do we really have to explain where the "corn" in corndog comes from?
Sick Sticks actually its dipped in cornmeal batter not corn bread batter sir.
I know that sounds silly and good corndogs will always have that consistency HOWEVER I have had pretty cheap corndogs and the taste of cornbread may be there but the consistency is not the same.
Wish there was a video of the crew at Disneyland 😭

Hey I really like your picture of Link where you got it?
How can anybody afford to go to this place? $8.75 for a CORN DOG? $22 for a SANDWICH??? Holy crap.....happiest place on earth? Yeah....if broke makes you happy.
The sandwich is from an actual restaurant so it's fancy. But as a whole, things are overpriced
Being happy aint cheap
Things are overpriced, but worth it if you know where to look. They also don't charge extra for things most restaurants do, and the food is absolutely fantastic.
The trick is to know where to go restaurant-wise and avoid the snack carts.
Keaton Hannen the VAST majority of people aren’t able to even take that advice because $22 for a sandwich is insane... even if you’re not getting any other food.
Katie Rourke I bet you’d spend $22 at McDonalds.

I remember walking out of the Rock and Roll Kiss rollercoaster and seeing my mother having one. I dont think I'd enjoy a turkey leg because Im not a huge fan of turkey.
First off the turkey legs are only in Disney Land CA they only have giant chicken wings in Disney World and it is the JOURNEY ROCKIN ROLLER COASTER

I've had Dole Whip in Hawaii and it's way more refreshing because it's fresh pineapple juice, and you see them make it. It's literally just pieces of pineapple juiced and then whipped up with ice. THEN! It's served with a huge piece of fresh pineapple. So good ^w^
That’s literally what the Disneyland one is too without the spear of pineapple (Dole is their sponsor). There’s only 2 places to get real Dole Whip: Disneyland and the Dole Plantation in Hawaii.

I disagree Josh. The one's in the quarter are great. But, I live in Metairie and the Cafe Du Monde on Veterans is just about a 1/2 mile from my house, and the beignets there are excellent!!
I live in Denmark, but I got to visit Disneyland and California Adventure for two days in August 2016 with my bf at the time and his uncle's family, who live in California. They were so kind to take us to L.A. to visit all the best places, including Universal Studios and Disneyland. I was so excited for the trip that I researched everything I could months before, and I especially made a list of all the foods I wanted to try in America, including a special list for Disneyland. One of them was the dole whip, which was really nice and refreshing in my opinion, although others found it too sweet. I also tried to find the turkey legs on day two, but for some reason, we couldn't find them anywhere, even though we had spotted the booth on day one. Still though, I also got to taste lots of other awesome Disney-themed foods, and I completed my check list of American foods before we went home. XD
You must be sitting and watching Tiki Room show to enjoy the entire goodness of the Dole Whip.
$8.75 for a corn dog? WTF?
Yeah but you're talking about a place that sells water for like $4 a bottle
Totally worth it.

I hope not.
It’s not food court but it is Costco
Sean Murphy Costco where you are has a food court?
@beccadotelpy Most do.
Mine has tables and chairs, so I'd say I would classify it as a food court. I don't know about any other locations but they seem to be the kind of company to make most of their locations pretty uniform.
“What heart attack am I gonna get at Disneyland today?” 😂😂 so true
It's always fun to see Rhett say random commentary just so he can keep eating and finish the monte cristo sandwich

House Kat okay but that doesn't matter because it tastes like magic
House Kat like I live in Texas and the land of meats and Disney is the best I've ever had
