Hopefully, they put the word out that there's a party at Jan's. All the grasshoppers you can eat! Also, please poop in designated areas. Windows, buildings, and all farm equipment including all vehicles are off-limits.

Never a dull moment on a dairy farm 😁. Awwww, the sleeping cow looked sooo sweet and at peace. I'd definitely go around all day just petting them while they slept. The barn full of Squeaky clean farm equipment was impressive. It's cool that you take such great care of it as you do the cows. Til the next 👍🫶👌.
I think it is cool how a cow can show both joy and excitement. Those girls were really happy to to see the straw return and they were looking at you as if to say Thank You. Hopefully you told those gulls where your canola feild is.

Hey here in New Zealand we are half way through calving. Still cold and wet conditions. We rely on grass 100% for the cows feed so grass management is very important to ensure we can feed our cows until the grass starts growing faster as we get closer to spring. It interesting seeing how different your farming system is from ours. Thanks for sharing
I'm also in New Zealand located in Auckland I also watch Dozer the farmer he's farming in New Zealand yeah it's different procedures to make the same thing milk for people to drink.
145 is such a show-off. Amazing how they jump around like they are so happy to have a change of fresh bedding. Another great video. I learned that dirt is not dirty always. Amazing how, among so many cows, some seem to have a unique personality and become a favorite like 25.

Why don't you consider hingeing the silage extensions so they fold down on the outside of the trailor wiith added corner lock pins when up with a pair of cross brace tie bars, no need for removing and separate storage and you could consider some liners to increase grain carrying capacity (axles etc permitting). Just a thought!

Cow 145 was looking like she was wanting you to play with her, she's so pretty and so was the cow th hat was mostly white with black dots. I live in florida and our grasshoppers can get 3 - 5 inches long they can eat one plant in a day each. Would have loved to see all those seagulls in a field. What a sight ! Love the daily vlogs !!!

I saw a couple of cows with shackles on. How often do you have a cow wearing them? I assume they slipped and fell and did the splits. How long do you need to keep the shackles on before they are healed?

When I was majoring in Forestry in college my Fundamentals of Soil Science teacher wouldn't allow us to call it dirt, it is soil. He said dirt is that stuff you get under your fingernails! 😃
(I changed my major to teaching later but not because of that.)
