I have DIJ pocket 2, and I love it. It does good job with this tiny camera and since this is pretty tiny, I can shot some cool images.

I just purchased the Hero 10 but there’s too many good reviews for the DJI 2 even for vlogs and now im like 😭
I was just thinking though the Go Pro may be best because imagine you’re doing a vlog where there’s water for example you’re on holiday and you’re on a speed boat or you’re walking in the rain Go Pro is best for that reason where as DJI pocket 2 isn’t. Maybe if a person can afford it get both. I might get a refund for my hero 10 though and just buy the DJI
I love my dji osmo pockets man! I had two of them. Well “had” kasi binenta ko kasi I needed the budget for a project. What mode would you say is the best for someone vlogging and showing content that is in front of them? For instance I got to a lot of pigeon shows/auctions and am not sure what mode to set the camera to so I can pan down to show the birds and etc. I usually keep it in FPV mode but it just doesn't feel fast enough panning the camera down.

Very helpful vlog! I have a pocket 2 for about 6 months now and I use it in my vlogs as well. It’s a good camera however most of the time when I edit my videos, my voice doesn’t sync as I speak which is quite annoying as I have to edit it manually.

How did u get that crisp audio in video i mean i own a condenser microphone but while recording the video it picks up the surrounding noise also

Hey Kritik, thanks for the kind words man! Appreciate it!
Microphones have different pick up patterns. I find that shotgun microphones perform well because their pickup pattern is designed to pickup what's in front of them than what's around. Then, there are microphones that have high frequency pass filters to reduce room noise like hums of AC.
That being said, when I record, i turn off everything to minimize the ambient noise and try to get the microphone as close as posisble because no matter what mic you use, the closer, the higher quality sound you get.
In terms of editing, I've actually posted and made. Tutorial on it on this channel! It's a basic audio editing session using software. I edit a little bit differently now because I have new microphones, but i still do it essentially the same. Sometimes i like experimenting too! Hope this helps!

Hey Christian! Totally! Id say it would be a great 2nd cam for that! I have the a6400 and the 35mm too so it becomes a 50mm equiv. Which is kinda the same thing you have, so you’llhave a wide shot and a medium/closeup if you want to! ✌️

Hey man! I think the creator combo is very useful! The do-it all handle and the wireless mic alone gives you so much flexibility especially if you need wireless connectivity, but i decided to go for the standard kit because:
1. This was only going to be a secondary camera for me and i know i’m only really gping to use it for vlog type situations especially when i’m moving around, in transit or while going thru the airport or riding a train, where using mu other cameras would really be more of a hassle
2. I didn’t see the need for the wireless microphone since i know i’m only going to ise the pocket 2 handheld at an arms length. And at that distance, the audio sounds great already.
3. If i do need good audio, ill use my other cameras with my shotgun mics. Besides i find it weird to record crystal clear audio when the subject is too far away if ypu’re using the wireless mic.
4. Price difference too.
So it will depend on what you’re going to use it for. I think if this is going to be your main camera, the creator combo would be a wise choice since it does offer great value for ypur money. But if like me, you have other cameras/accessories you can use already and you’re only really going to use it for vlogging, the standard kit is enough already imho 😄
Hello! I have a problem with the Osmo Pocket 2 and I do not know how to solve it. In the editor. When I cut a video, I notice an unwanted sharp sound (clack) between the cuts. This happens in 60% of cases. do you have a solution? It only does this in the videos I have written with the Osmo Pocket 2 and not with the other cameras ...

I havent used the newest iphones yet, but I would still put this Pocket 2 first before using my phone cam, just because it’s a mechanical gimbal and doesn’t rely on Algorithms and Eloctronic stabilization, so you should technically be getting the best output. It’s literally stopped me from using my big a** gimbal esp when we travel! I love this little camera! ❤️

That’s actually a really good question and one that really depends on what you need it for. Both would do pretty well i think for talking heads. If you’re into video editing and color grading, the pocket 2 will have an advantage there bec of the D-Cinelike color profile. The gopro on the other hand has advantages esp if you’re into a lot of action stuff, its definitely more robust and tougher.
I have a gopro but i never really use it other than surfing and i don’t really like vlogging with it just because of how You use it, on the other hand with the pocket 2, i feel like i habe a cinema camera in my pocket. I can pretty much do the same stuff i do on my mirrorless cameras with it with the advantage of a gimbal of course!
They’re both great cams at the end of the day with 2 very different use case scenarios. Personally, I’d go with whatever will make you feel like you want to shoot more!
