This movie was actually very good. Everyone is disappointed because we were expecting something more and extreme from Lokesh . This movie definitely had some very very good scenes but if we compare Leo with other movies of Lokesh It didn't stand a chance against all of them.

audience expected a vigilante or adventurous story, but that's always not the case. When I heard about the film's criticism, I was dissapointed, but today after watching it on telegram, I realised the true beauty of the film and the lcu connection was quite fare, a family man is after all not on a mission, he faces the dangers to his family
@@samamroy578 yeah it is just the introduction of a new character in LCU and many people who are saying ,"this movie has a lot of loop holes". Lokesh is not that dumb to put many loop holes in the movie. I think these loop holes are actually mysterious connections to LCU. People who are saying that this movie is quite bad, I think they should watch the movie 2nd time.

Most of the good actors who can genuinely act don't focus on acting in movies like this after they gather a good amount of stardom but vijay and srk never do this kinda mistakes.

@@tnoor836it's a different story with Mahesh Babu ..up until 2014 he was the only one(in tfi) experimenting with his movies...but the audience were not ready that time.... and from there he started playing safe...he started choosing saviour persona scripts....but audience literally requesting him to come back to his strength which is character driven films..so we will see...,🤷🏻

Guys plz 🙏 don't compare Leo with Vikram. Literally Leo is a great action packed movie💥. This will definitely comes in top 5 films of 2023💯. I have enjoyed this movie in theater 🍿. The first half of movie's VFX and Anirudh's English songs made me feel like I was watching a Hollywood movie 🔥🦁. In the second half, the car chase , Das&co factory fight with eagle view and The climax twist will definitely blow your mind 🤯. Literally mind blowing ✨💥. Don't miss this masterpiece in theaters ❗.

Just came from watching this, and it was amazing! For the record, I'm not an Indian, as well as the fact that I'm also not a Tamil speaker, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. Vijay was absolutely amazing, and Sanjay Dutt played a immensely compelling villain.
An absolutely amazing theater experience! The song Naa Ready on the big screen was an absolute treat, it was awesome. The score and songs were also amazing as well, Anirudh was superb, as usual. However, with that being said, the film does have its faults. Naa Ready was interrupted by character dialogue, and I didn't really get why it wasn't shown fully, what a bummer.
Arjun Sarja's Harold Das didn't seem compelling, while Sanjay Dutt played a terrific villain in the form of Antony Das. Harold was rather so-so and kinda forgettable tbh.
Nonetheless, a wonderful experience, and a Saturday evening well spent ❤
Please dont compare this movie with Vikram.. Vikram is Avenger...but...its is a best way to establish in LCU so dont keep more expectations and go and watch...but i can Lokesh did his best and present to everyone best ways not like other directors

Overall Leo is an entertaining movie with a proper storyline! And for me the ending was also good!
People are complaining over second half because of the unbalanced start of the second half. There are too many characters to be introduced in the later part. So it’s unable to give a buildup and certain pace to the story. It would be better to have a proper powerful side character like "Amar" from the start rather than too many villain characters. And should give the villain character a proper flashback story. Then it could have touch the level of Kaithi-Vikram.
Otherwise it is a decent action packed good movie!

Movie is obviously not as good as Vikram, but I don't agree with people who are completely bashing the movie. I honestly had really good time watching the movie.
Movie of the year, by far. Loki gave Altee competition in flashback. Atlee's flashbacks were never full fleshed out, always rushed, yet satisfying.
I haven't watched Leo, but for me VIKRAM was the best movie of 2022..❤

That's the honest review! I personally did not like Leo! Had loads of expectations but I felt that Master and Vikram were far better work done by Lokesh Kanakraj! A director of his calibre creating such a substandard movie, not upto the mark. The subplots kind of made no sense. Even the connection with LCU, seemed obvious no surprises as such too much there. Still Sarkar, Master remains my favourite Thalapathy film! Hoping LK will do better work when he gives his next movie with Thalaiva!

I booked my tickets on Sunday(Yesterday) knowing that the second half is poor. But, Beleive me i liked the movie all Lcu references don't feel forced it felt decent ❤Cafe Fight Scene, Factory one shot sequence , Cameos& References & Traps scene were highlights of the film.
That pro$titute girl's cameo was hilarious 😂with that music.
One thing i don't liked was villains were wasted Arjun sarja could've nailed it's character if it had more screentime same goes with baba❤
Jawan movie successfully appealed to a broad audience and delivered on that promise. In contrast, Leo movie appears to be tailored exclusively for Vijay fans, which might not resonate with many neutral viewers who are not fans of him

I dont know I just had a thought about this but felt Parthi was a lil like walter white from breaking bad while he is just protecting his family I think after a point he actively goes to great extend to keep his identity hidden like trying to make his wife feel guilty for doubting him and saying he did it all for the family! So technically in this world he is a grey shade character too parthi is not completely White!

In the first half, the character of the psycho villain seemed more impressive than Sanjay Dutt's character. Apart from this, Leo's back story was also not that good. But overall the film was good.

Leo works for LCU, just like Pathaan works for YRF Spy Universe....Entertaining enough, yet not as up to the mark as it's predecessors....Could've done better with more better plot building, sub-plot elements to connect with LCU as good as Vikram did, & screenplay...
Now Lokesh Sir should take some time to make Kaithi 2 a masterpiece
