Ah yes, every Ravens fan remembers this game. The "Peyton Manning is very upset with us from last year" game
That and you guys had daryl smith as the leader instead of Ray Lewis
LMAO True. It was more painful because we were the defending champs
Would’ve loved to have seen Brandon Stokely and Dallas Clark’s faces when they found out they had to play Peyton week 1 lmao.
Lol it wasn't even his fault they lost the safety gave up a huge hail Mary pass
The way Peyton doesn't even look happy any time he throws a TD. Man was out for blood 😂
The game that took Julius Thomas from an unknown player to the biggest star tight end in football overnight
And Demarious Thomas
Peyton made him
Julius Thomas sucks as a TE. That's why he turn to a nobody after Manning stopped being his quarterback
Not really
@@ernestogastelum9123 facts
A Divisional Playoff rematch to start 2013, but Peyton deep down inside wanted this more than ever
@Harry Engel more like arguably the best season ever for passing the ball. Most passing yards and most passing TDs in a season ='s the best passing season ever.
@Keith Cousins Great Job Sir!
@Harry Engel I agree and you beat me to mentioning 2004, but how can we not also consider the fact that Manning did this at 38 years old after 3 neck surgeries that literally were deemed career ending
@Fries The rule is irrelevant with Manning. He's the least sacked/hit QB b/c of how fast he gets rid of it
RIP DT ❤️ one of the best receivers of the decade
Fr hopefully he was a man of God🙏
Oh gosh… stop. People die. I’m sure you have the same energy with the man with the small cardboard sign at the stop light that you scoff at.
Imagine 2013 broncos offense with 2015 broncos defense
19-0 EASY
Demaryius Thomas in his short prime was a beast.
rip
I remember this game... it was definitely the most talked about game at school the next day
It was crazy
Same I remember I was in 7th grade during that game my teacher was the biggest Peyton Manning fan
I was in 9th grade. I remember everyone thinking this would be Peyton's last year.
@@austinhunt6455 It was definitely the last year Peyton played like his true self, 2014 was still good but not great and 2015 was just heartbreaking.
@@NillyNilly546 Dude 2015 was hard to watch... sure he went out on top, but to say he was carried by that defense is an understatement.
Ah yes the game where Peyton Manning decided that the ravens shouldn't be happy about winning that ring anymore.
He was really upset at us
Lol
I now feel the pain of my team being trashed upon from an NFL Throwback video
Lol, even if the threw 10 TDs and Ravens lost by 100 points. That does not ruin a SB win. It was a total disgrace that the SB winner had to open the season on the road in the most unfavorable place.
@@bowlchamps37 Foxborough in the winter is the most unfavorable place to play. You know, the place & time that the NFL ALWAYS made Peyton play the Patriots at
Still baffles me why the Orioles wouldn't let the Ravens open up the season at home. Feels wrong for the defending champion to open up on the road
Facts I feel this game messed up their shot of the playoffs. I feel that if their schedule was different that year in terms of which opponents they play when, then they could’ve made the playoffs
explain, what did the orioles have to do with an nfl schedule
@@christianstoneroussesu4584 They share parking lots, the Orioles had a game that forced them to not be able to play at home. Since the Super Bowl champs open at home usually on a Thursday not Sunday, it made schedule conflicts. I believe the MLB schedule is already decided so they had no choice but to play it away, which meant it was in Denver.
@@benfair4354 why couldnt they have just held both games? people cant park elsewhere?
@@christianstoneroussesu4584 My guess would be it probably had something to do with Peter Angelose (Orioles Owner) being a giant douchebag. That guy is the worst.
Why the Danny Trevathan fumble isn't shown on more blooper reals, I have no clue. We still remember when DeSean Jackson did it, but Trevathan's gaffe has seemingly flown under the radar
Overshadowed by Peytons performance
Right
the score could've been 56-27
I remembered this day and miss this era
Watching highlights of Manning is so surreal. Dude gets blasted after every throw and not a single penalty!! Of course they start to baby the QB position after he leaves.
I thought it was strange at the time how the Ravens (the defending Super Bowl champions at the time) didn’t host this game.
Blame Peter Angelos for that being the case.
@@michaelhession2105 who is this so called peter angelos?
@@1990Thunderbolt Runs the Baltimore Orioles. This game was suppose to be in Baltimore but he didn’t wanna budge his team playing in Baltimore that night
@@jordan12118 who the fuck does that shit? The city screwed themselves over!
I recall the reason myself. It was related to the Baltimore Orioles. However, I think it was lame of the NFL to settle for the toughest road game possible for the Ravens.
Joe Flacco really regressed that year after a dominant playoff run.
2013 stats: 59%, 19 TDs, 22 INTs, 6.4 YPA and 73.1 passer rating
L
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl because they paid him big money in the offseason
Flacco was more thrash than the usual. It was something to behold. I still dont know what spirit possesed him when he played playoffs or against tom brady LOL.
He wasn’t great but his oline was GOD awful that year worst oline in the league that year w jacoby Jones as his #2 no ray rice or Dennis pitta
@@gabegrissom712 While bad Olines are reasons that QBs can regress, Russell Wilson showed he could be amazing when he had the worst oline for 5 years, he never went below 90 QBR and never threw over 14 interceptions. Throwing 22 interceptions is not acceptable especially considering what they paid him after the Super Bowl.
Peyton Manning was a video game in 2013. That offense was so explosive.
can i still buy this video game
If the 2013 Bronco’s offense was a video game, then the 2013 Seahawk’s defense was a hack? Lmfao
Yeah, it was something... Still not the best offense ever, though.
@@LukeR.5117 they had the best QB season ever.....
@@LukeR.5117 Only offense to ever put up 600+ points. QB set single season records for most TD passes and passing yards. 5 players with 10 or more TD's. 3 players over 1k yards total. 2 more at almost 800. 7500 yards of total offense that year. the 2019 Chiefs had 1200 less. As did the 2020 Bucs. 07 Patriots only had 6700. Who had a better offense?
Man, I want this Broncos team again. 😔
This was my favorite season I’ve watched so many great moments in 2013
This one the first time I saw Peyton Manning play live and that was quite the introduction.
Was supposed to be a home game for the Ravens but the Orioles had a game that day and they share parking lots smh
I was wondering why it wasn’t in Baltimore but that’s hilarious 😂
1st Bronco game I ever attended - it was an awesome start to a Super Bowl year!
I've attended a number of them since when I visited my parents in Longmont as my Dad had season tickets but this was the first one.
Three players I miss watching the most...Peyton, Moss and Owens
I'm a Miami fan, but this stadium looks so beautiful
Back when times were so much more simple. Awesome way to start the season with all the posters for kickoff
I had Peyton Manning as my starting QB on my fantasy team that night...needless to say I started the season 1-0 lol!
Me to bro
The Baltimore orioles are the reason why the Ravens played an away game for their home opener. The orioles had a playoff game the same day this one was scheduled. They share a parking lot so the ravens had to move because the orioles had dibs
It wasn't a playoff game, though it was a big game in the playoff race plus it was against the Yankees on ESPN.
the 2013 broncos offense was fun to watch and all but to bad that you had to meet the 2013 seahawks defense in the super bowl :P
Ur a pats fan
@@duskthunder9274 I’am. What about it?
For real though! That Seahawks defense was scary!!!
@@BraeAllin no kidding!
Yeah, cause that's what football is all about.
He was one shy of what Russel has done all year. How sad take me back to this 😢
Y'all should make more player career highlights videos. I really enjoy them. I think an Alex Smith video would be cool cause his career was a crazy one.
Crazy to think 4 players caught double digits TDs for Broncos that season- (D. Thomas, J.Thomas ,Wes Welker and Eric Decker). All caught 10 +
Fantasy Gods
Back when banners in the stands were held up by fans and not there to make sure the empty seats weren't so obvious
The year Ray Lewis retired after he won his last super bowl
I forgot how close this game was in the first half. Then Peyton Manning went berserk in the second half
Great video as always! One quick note is that in the description, it says this game is from Week 6 of the 2013 season, through it is from Week 1
Had Manning, Welker, and (Demaryius) Thomas starting this night. Had about a 90 pt lead at games end.
this game was really cool. love opening day!
No quarterback can get a receiver killed like man and could. Best hospital passer in NFL history 😂
2013 Football Game Week one! Broncos and Ravens was a Great game. I watched it on TV and I was shocked
man this brings back memories both of these teams were crazy stacked
It’s just so interesting to see how fast it turned for Denver. From having a historic all time offense to having a historic all time defense in just a 3 year span. And to think of all of Peytons years in Denver, it’s the one in which he’s carried to a title that they win
Another movie to be added to my playing lists, thanks Throwback
Peyton manning the goat! Made every starting member of that team look like super stars. After that year never heard of them again! Maybe a few short times but never the same. Amazing game
No fucking way you just called a career choker the "GOAT"
He is not the goat!!!
Try MJ !!
Can’t believe it’s been 10 years since this game
The GOAT, from week 1 it was clear him and the Broncos O was on something else. Miss those days
I need the 2013 broncos in madden
The fact that Peyton did this to two of his favorite targets in Indy, Brandon Stokely and Dallas Clark is wild to me. But this game was insane, 2013 Peyton was beyond unreal
“ Wes Welker coughs it up “ man deja fuckin Vu 😂
That beginning almost made me cry 😅😅
I remember this game no lie I was really happy that ravens lost I was still hurt about the Super Bowl I was in starting my freshman year everyone was taking about this game
Thanks for the upload NFL Throwback! This might be a crazy question, but does anybody happen to know any full games from 1977-2008 that had huge brawls? I have been looking full games that have huge brawls during this timespan.
I'm a little late but I still love this channel and Dallas Clark is an goat!
I remember watching this game on my schools Chromebook lmao
Good times
Resume wise Brady is the G.O.A.T. but my personal opinion Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time
Agreed. Brady is the most successful QB of all time, but in my eyes Peyton is the best position player at the QB spot. Peak skill Peyton edges out Brady just barely. But obviously Brady has the edge in longevity.
@@notquitekeanu FACTS
@@notquitekeanu Where was peytons peak skill in the playoffs? Tom brady is way better and it's not even close.
@@calebanderson2994 it showed up pretty frequently against Brady in the playoffs. 3-1 vs Brady in AFC championships 🤔

As a ravens fan this game really hurt my heart after winning that chip. We couldn't stop them boys at all
I miss watching Peyton tear up defenses every Sunday, but I'm exited for the Russell Wilson era!!!
How you feeling
He came to make an example of them ravens
Welker with the special teams miscue at 5:00
Would show later on in the season against the Pats in OT.
7 TD's in 3 quarters!!!!
#18🐐
I’m a born and raised Hoosier and watching colts games was like religion, I remember the agony every time the opposing team would run the ball, all those years we couldn’t field an offensive line, games where we got 100 yards rushing as a team were like holidays, and through it all, Peyton Manning was exceptional. Watching him and Harrison and then Wayne. All those early games in foxboro, 2005 when we finally beat them and won the Super Bowl. I was dumbfounded when he was cut, I maybe watched 6 games of any football game since that day. To this day the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital has a resounding impact on the lives of Indiana families by the thousands, what he meant to us will never be matched by any athlete.
The best QB ever to play the game!
lol
Had 2 interceptions in the Super Bowl that year and lost by 40 points.
@@Spacejunonice job exposing the defense
@@lukeskywalkermod3686 sure the defensive was bad but let’s not forget manning was responsible for 16 of those points and the best offense ever scored 8 points in garbage time.
4:15 “It’s the glove” 😂
Peyton had 2 former teammates on the Ravens, TE Dallas Clark, Colts teammate, 2003-11, and WR Brandon Stokley, Colts teammate 2002-05
I remember 7 year old me being so hyped after this game lol. Good times
Epic performance from Peyton Manhandling. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 17:00 I bet he's still kicking himself till this day over that 😂🤣
God I miss Peyton. When the refs help you up off the ground like that, you know you're royalty.
I remember this game? It was awesome.
Does anyone here think Peyton Manning would've played in 2016 if he had never had neck problems?
He'd still be playing right now if he never had those neck injuries. He'd be the oldest QB in the league but he'd still be playing whether he was starting or a backup.
We would have definitely decreased in his ability to play
nope. the 2016 patriots were fully ready!
@@1990Thunderbolt Yes They Were!
As a ravens fan why show this game 😂. Peyton obliterated us damn

1970-1979
1960-1969

That team was Stacked
I remember this redemption game like yesterday.
And that season peyton manning win his 5th MVP of league
You should do Charles "Peanut" Tillman career highlights video.
10:02 I remember this play. That no challenge call gave the Broncos the momentum and they ran away with it for the rest of the season.
Killed me as a fan not opening up the season at home feels like that just doomed us the rest of the way that season but remembering ray leaving and the years following this upcoming year might be the first time since I’m looking forward to my defense and feel like they will cause a lot of problems this year and of course qb1 is back let’s go #flocknation
I had Manning and welker on my fantasy team that year!
I remember that touchback fail, even though the Broncos won, it still stung that Trevathan dropped that perfect, probably once in a season, opportunity.
Better times 😭
The Best QB ALL-TIME
I miss this broncos team
I loved this game
Im not even a broncos fan but
I love Peyton but hate the ravens
bro I forgot about that trevathon pick getting called back for him dropping the ball before making it to the end zone
I was holding one of the west facing Fs!
It'd be cool for you guys to post kickoff games every once in a while from now until the preseason starts (or kickoff)
the first game of my first year of fantasy football was against peton manning and wes welker in this game
In fantasy that day I started Peyton, Wes Welker, Demarius Thomas and Ray Rice. I scored 223 points. Our dynasty ran for years, that was the first week, and nobody ever broke that record. That's how crazy this game was.
I had Payton, D Thomas and Julius Thomas in fantasy this year 😅 they won me fantasy by themselves, only lost one game and it was Broncos bye week 🤣
Manning took 2 dif teams to superbowls and won rings, not alot of qbs have done that
@Ryan Irwin- Diehl I mean Peyton did play a little bit better come playoff time but the defense absolutely carried him. They made MVP Cam Newton look like JaMarcus Russell.
Brady has entered the chat.

RIP DT and Ronnie Hillman!
I think EVERY season opener should be a rematch of last year's Super Bowl
Manning went out there to prove a point. It was loud and clear.
7 TDS in 3 quarters 🤯
Joe Kapp also did this for The Vikings in 1969...
You know you've made it when a ref helps you up.
Manning Moments to be in the hall of fame
I can hear the Lombardi Trophy Processional by David Robidoux.
(10:21) That stop & cut Demaryius Thomas made was one of the nastiest moves I ever seen.
Really shows why the Broncos were all offense that year and ended up losing the Super Bowl badly to a complete team
Also, Flacco played better here in a Ravens jersey then he ever did a Broncos.
