"The Quran was not revealed just for the time of the Nabi salallahu alayhi wa sallam, it was revealed for eternity, until the end of times" The part where surah Ma'idah explains that we are allowed to eat from what was slaughtered by the people of the book. I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and alhamdulillaah we have NO shortage of muslim butchers here, so it's easy for us to get all kinds of meat. However, for our brothers and sisters in the west, this makes it much easier for them to have meat and such foods (provided the animal is slaughtered correctly) ALHAMDULILLAH!
If you can please post a detailed video on the topic of credit cards, loans, and exposing the riba based system which many Muslims compromise for, I believe it would be of great value for the ummah! JazzakAllah kheir!

You need to give more proof than just giving us 2 clips, we don't know where they are taken. There is no "muslim way" of slaughtering in a country that mandates that animals are stunned to get drowzy (not to get dead!) and then slaughteres it. This is mandated, even here in EU. So "halal" and normal meat you buy from any supermarket, is the same. Many people don't seem to understand that, you can walk away from the autorities and create your own way of slaughtering, that is against the law and terefore haram. Unless the US has a law that allows slaughtering in a different place then a slaughtering house, but it still has to follow the law and stun to get the animal drowzy. About this "secular countries", what is up with that? What does law have to do with the christian religion? So Turkey, who clearly states that they are secular but a great number of them are muslim with like 30% other religions living there, so these muslim are kafir and the government and country in general too? Many other muslim countries also are "secular", and seperate state with religion, so it's kafir too? What about Ireland? They are nearly 90% catholic yet they are secular but respect the cristian religion, like Italy, spain, Belgium and spain too, so what now? Athiest too? @@hadiamrane usa does not forbid kosher or halal farming or slaughter. As the standards for those are even higher and cleaner than the laws. The laws for slaughter here are a minimum guideline, and we are a country that wants to always do the bare minimum effort while charging premium prices, so that's what you will usually get unless you seek out (and pay for). better stuff. Also to be certified by reputable firms, there can't be "mixed method" slaughter houses.

What about turning the animals unconscious before slaughtering them? is there any harm in making them unconscious or the sharia way is that they all should be conscious in time of the slaughter?

This process involves gradually reducing the oxygen levels until the birds are unconscious before slaughter. This is not the shari'ah way of slaughtering animals nor has Allah's name been mentioned. The first video showing the stun-gun - I don’t believe that guns kills the animal, rather (from what I understand) it renders the animal unconscious for a short amount of time to allow the actual slaughter to take place. Thus a sin is incurred for injuring the animal, but the resulting slaughter is okay.

Habibi, you do know that on islamqa this exact question was asked and they went to sheikh ibn utaymeen himself and he said you shouldn't ask in any restaurant in a christian dominated country, like US, UK or EU in general. But if you are 100% sure, then it becomes haram to eat there.

@@eerievon2208 It is very confusing to read this as it is all over the place. It is a fact that Chinese are not christian nor a jew, so it becomes haram. The same for Japan and other countries that are not christian or jewish. That is one thing to understand. There is no difference of opinion regarding this. About not being "naive", so a opinion that you follow, which is a respected opinion, makes you "naive", come on brother, at least respect the scholars who worked their whole live to let people learn the deen properly. So this is a known opinion of ibn utaymeen to not ask and just say bismillah and eat, unless you are doubting or are 100% sure that there is contamination. Where I live, I have seen myself in Mcdonalds that every meat gets seperated and washing the second it is used, they have organised it very well. They were gloves, etc. This was even a small restaurant. So for me i'm not affraid, even though we aren't supposed to ask in the first place, it was right in front of me. So, if you have seen that there is mixing meat like crazy where you live, then it is haram, if you don't know, you are not held accountable for it. Also, from a heatl security stand point, what's the point in killing people with this much contamination from a big name like MC, Burger king, etc? There have been numerous reports of people dying because of this, then they changed the rulings and became serious. So it is impossible that they neglect basic food security protocol, just because they eat pork....

@@eerievon2208 Habibi, you need to look what is apparent and is vey well known by scholars and muslim people around the globe, also knows as "the default" that I litterly mentioned in my last comment ;-). So, what does anybody know and agree upon, that chinese and japanese are not from ahlul kitaab, unless proven otherwise. Meaning, if a japanese comes to you and says: "I converted to christianity", then yes, you can call him that. But the countries and the people are by default not. They do things worse than ahlul kitaab. Now, I'm talked only about Japanese and Chinese, not about Filipenes as they are catholics, 82% even. So you can eat there, no problem. And about the last part, yes, I would as even though he is a chinese person he is christian, but if the food is interesting to eat there. Also about the "blue eyed american person" being christian by default, yes, as you don't know anything about him. Him not wearing a cross isn't important to me. Unless he comes as says he is athiest then you can't accept food from him. Unless it's not meat and someting like vegetable or fruit. Just like a muslim. A muslim is by default a muslim because of his name or how he looks. You don't need to ask if he prays, fast or smokes and what major sins he does. That's between him and allah. Not important for us. You think that showing one slaughtering house who's not following the rulings of the government, is going to change a opinion of the scholars? Alhamdoulilah, the food in EU is by law that they let the animal get drowzy but it is not dead and then it get's slaughtered. But still, for me only one slaughtering house will not do as there are a lot of slaughtering houses in the US, so how can we know that all of them do the same thing? You can't proof that. Ustad ibn farooq only shows one animal, then a guy who clearly doesn't care and put the animal on fire, but this is only one video. Show more videos of like 3 or 5 slaughtering houses, then it is clear that the food is haram there. Showing only a couple of seconds clips isn't going to help. Also, if the food is really haram there, where do the so called "halal butchers" take their meat from?
In that case you have to stop living in USA in the first place. Can't be living with Kuffars then complain about their actions. McDonald's is a restaurant, as long as you are eating Halal food there, you have nothing to worry about whom they are supporting or hating. Their support and hate will be questioned to them by Allah on Yawm Al Qiyamah, Allah will not ask you. Stop bothering yourself with things that don't concern you.
O dear shaykh if vast majority of people in a country claim to be the worshippers of jesus(peace be upon him ) then they are disbelievers and under the subcategories is Christians so they are disbeliever Christian and their land is also Christian country. The problem is that although they are Christian they don't slaughter according to the Christian methodology of slaughtering rather they just kill it anyhow so it is haram. If they were to slaughter it according to the Christian methodology and make it In their constitution it would be halal. The meat industry is not Christian guide. The guidance the meat industry follows is Haram because there was a Muslim food industry engineer who worked in the US and he found out even the Christian would not consume the way they do the slaughter houses. He was religious person and he went Australia to work on the certification of meat that goes to Saudi Arabia and other golf countries.He make sure what they say is halal is 100% Halal and Dayyib which means the animal is treated humane and feeding is halal they don't give the livestock the food that contains pork and road kills.Every body is responsible to find out what he or she eats and gives to his or her families and communities.if I find the video I will write in the comments.

@@eerievon2208 It is very confusing to read this as it is all over the place. It is a fact that Chinese are not christian nor a jew, so it becomes haram. The same for Japan and other countries that are not christian or jewish. That is one thing to understand. There is no difference of opinion regarding this. About not being "naive", so a opinion that you follow, which is a respected opinion, makes you "naive", come on brother, at least respect the scholars who worked their whole live to let people learn the deen properly. So this is a known opinion of ibn utaymeen to not ask and just say bismillah and eat, unless you are doubting or are 100% sure that there is contamination. Where I live, I have seen myself in Mcdonalds that every meat gets seperated and washing the second it is used, they have organised it very well. They were gloves, etc. This was even a small restaurant. So for me i'm not affraid, even though we aren't supposed to ask in the first place, it was right in front of me. So, if you have seen that there is mixing meat like crazy where you live, then it is haram, if you don't know, you are not held accountable for it. Also, from a heatl security stand point, what's the point in killing people with this much contamination from a big name like MC, Burger king, etc? There have been numerous reports of people dying because of this, then they changed the rulings and became serious. So it is impossible that they neglect basic food security protocol, just because they eat pork....

@@eerievon2208 Habibi, you need to look what is apparent and is vey well known by scholars and muslim people around the globe, also knows as "the default" that I litterly mentioned in my last comment ;-). So, what does anybody know and agree upon, that chinese and japanese are not from ahlul kitaab, unless proven otherwise. Meaning, if a japanese comes to you and says: "I converted to christianity", then yes, you can call him that. But the countries and the people are by default not. They do things worse than ahlul kitaab. Now, I'm talked only about Japanese and Chinese, not about Filipenes as they are catholics, 82% even. So you can eat there, no problem. And about the last part, yes, I would as even though he is a chinese person he is christian, but if the food is interesting to eat there. Also about the "blue eyed american person" being christian by default, yes, as you don't know anything about him. Him not wearing a cross isn't important to me. Unless he comes as says he is athiest then you can't accept food from him. Unless it's not meat and someting like vegetable or fruit. Just like a muslim. A muslim is by default a muslim because of his name or how he looks. You don't need to ask if he prays, fast or smokes and what major sins he does. That's between him and allah. Not important for us. I hope this helped out a bit.

You think that showing one slaughtering house who's not following the rulings of the government, is going to change a opinion of the scholars? Alhamdoulilah, the food in EU is by law that they let the animal get drowzy but it is not dead and then it get's slaughtered. But still, for me only one slaughtering house will not do as there are a lot of slaughtering houses in the US, so how can we know that all of them do the same thing? You can't proof that. Ustad ibn farooq only shows one animal, then a guy who clearly doesn't care and put the animal on fire, but this is only one video. Show more videos of like 3 or 5 slaughtering houses, then it is clear that the food is haram there. Showing only a couple of seconds clips isn't going to help. Also, if the food is really haram there, where do the so called "halal butchers" take their meat from?

McDonald's is a restaurant, as long as you are eating Halal food there, you have nothing to worry about whom they are supporting or hating. Their support and hate will be questioned to them by Allah on Yawm Al Qiyamah, Allah will not ask you. Stop bothering yourself with things that don't concern you.

O dear shaykh if vast majority of people in a country claim to be the worshippers of jesus(peace be upon him ) then they are disbelievers and under the subcategories is Christians so they are disbeliever Christian and their land is also Christian country. The problem is that although they are Christian they don't slaughter according to the Christian methodology of slaughtering rather they just kill it anyhow so it is haram. If they were to slaughter it according to the Christian methodology and make it In their constitution it would be halal. Try to solve the problem instead of making another mistake like what you said the usa, uk is not Christian if not Christian what are they on larger scale except the white cross lovers and so called jesus lovers while in actually they are his enemies.

I don't agree with Shiekh uthman on USA not being a Christian country. I mean the government is secular but not the whole people. I see churches everywhere. However he is right about Mcdonald. I have never eaten meat from Mcdonald ,Wendy's, KFC ETC.
The meat industry is not Christian guide.
The guidance the meat industry follows is Haram because there was a Muslim food industry engineer who worked in the US and he found out even the Christian would not consume the way they do the slaughter houses.
He was religious person and he went Australia to work on the certification of meat that goes to Saudi Arabia and other golf countries.He make sure what they say is halal is 100% Halal and Dayyib which means the animal is treated humane and feeding is halal they don't give the livestock the food that contains pork and road kills.Every body is responsible to find out what he or she eats and gives to his or her families and communities.if I find the video I will write in the comments.
