  • This was by far the hardest day of my life in the village and as much as I love my family, I never want to have a repeat of it. People will just starve next time and I will eat bread and disappear. #villagelife #namibia #africanculture

Village girls rock! Thanks Woven for showcasing our upbringing. The funny thing is that no matter how fancy our current living conditions are, I personally cherish the moment I spent in the village growing up. Pure simple life with free workout sessions (fetching water, wood , cultivating the land for food etc). I cannot wait to return to my roots one day. You are doing an outstanding job with this amazing content. I remember growing up people always assumed we (my siblings and I) did not know anything since we grew up in the village. That so far from the truth. We have our own system that works perfectly for us even though we might need a few things improved such as easy access to water and replanting trees etc. Keep up the good work. Btw, I love your city/urban content as well. Outstanding work with that as well. Do you.You are fortunate to have lived and still living both lives.

I have been binge watching woven for hours, I came across this video and at 24:34 I see 3 morden houses behind woven. It's a pity that people are fast to Judge, there are FEW if not ONE person who's always bashing woven saying she stays in a hut but she's living a luxury life in the city. Even if she was staying in a hut there's no problem. Sending love & light to people who are bitter even though they don't know us 🕯🤍

I love ur content. It's the same here Eswatini. We do have a forbidden tree. We can't use it as firewood. Curiosity got the best of me & my siblings one day. We used the forbidden tree for firewood & cooked some food. To our surprise, every person that ate the good had diarrhea & the next day my grandfather went to check on what we used to make the fire. He found that forbidden tree and was angry at us for using it coz we know about it. I don't understand how but I guess the smoke from the wood upsets the stomach somehow. So be careful with those.
