    I have been running 32x10x15 Terra Hooks for a year now and I am hooked LOL, get it. We are in northwest IL and have been to a lot of places on different terrain and they have done great.

      Lol I get it! We are in northern Illinois as well! They haven’t been so great for me. They seem fine on normal trails, but didn’t do so well on the more difficult trails in Tennessee.

      @@SomewhatHaggard what we’re you running for air pressure? On trails like that I air down to 6-8psi, for every thing else I’m at 10-12psi.
      No there not Rockzillas but I don’t just rock crawl either.

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  Před 2 lety

      I was at 8psi for the whole trip. They seemed ok on everything but rocks. It didn’t help the other pro xp in our group has zillas and makes everything look easy.

      @@SomewhatHaggard I would try 6 next time and don’t hesitate on some more throttle, sometimes you need a little heat in them.
      You guys ever ride at Whispering Meadows? It’s not far from Hansen Hallows

      Next time we go out I will definitely try 6! No I’m not familiar with either of those places.

    Congrats on the 32s , you can always get a custom cage that will lower the rzr and have plenty of room to throw on 35s lol 😂

      Thanks! Both of the units in the garage need lower cages!!

    I ride norther wi on trails varying from gravel/rock to super soft sand and so far terra hooks have been my favorite.
    Big horns have performed amazing in the soft sand but in the rocks they aren’t as reliable and on pavement they are horrible.
    Terrabites were amazing on pavement and work well in gravely rocks but horrible in sand.
    New carnivores were a pretty good all around tire slightly behind the terra hook in soft terrain

      Thanks for the input!! I agree on the carnivores, they worked good on most terrains until they were worn.

      I’ll definitely update as we go this season. First impressions are pretty good but that’s just from driving around in the badlands and doing one launch on grass. Still need to see how they do on rocks and in mud.

    How do you like the itp tires so far? I'm running 32" Maxxis rampage. There not bad for an a/t tire. The only thing I don't like is in the mud. You have to keep that skinny peddle smashed keep them cleaned out. Carnavors last set out proform the rampage.

    • @SomewhatHaggard
      @SomewhatHaggard  Před 2 lety

      Haha I’ve got a complicated relationship with them. They do fine on regular trails and after dropping down to 6-7 psi they did better at climbing dirt hills wet and dry. They were disappointing in Tennessee though, I couldn’t get past obstacles that had wet rocks even small ones. Since I enjoy obstacles I wouldn’t buy them again. I agreed the carnivores worked well, I had 30’s though and would find myself getting hung up in ruts a lot. After they wore down some I think they measured 28 1/2 inches so they had to go.

    Just ratchet strap the shocks. That’s what racers do to get their rzrs in haulers

      Yeah deflating the tires wouldn’t be fun either. Luckily I haven’t got my ride height adjusted yet so I can still sneak by lol.
