  • One of the most common problems with Miatas is the window bushing deteriorating :/ NOT TO WORRY! CANDE GOT CHU WIT DAT EASY HOW TO! I did a lot of cleaning and tinting off camera which is why the video took the whole day. It's a super easy replacement if you are just replacing the bushing. Would highly suggesting relubricating for the best results though. These Delrin bushing were a huge upgrade. It's said to be an upgrade even if you have perfectly working OEM bushings. I, and everyone that gets in to the car and rolls the windows down, notice a huge difference. Hope you guys enjoyed and it helped you out. Thanks a lot for your tutorial, I just turn 60 and finally I got a 1990 Miata NA, not many of this model here in Chile, South America. It is in "good condition" for 33 years old, but thanks to tutorials like your, I have been encouraged to carry out little things, even when I am short of tools. Today I managed to change the window bushing from the passenger's side, tomorrow will be the driver's side. The most scary part is when you take the window off and realize that you haven't prepare the place where to lay it down the glass.
Once again, thanks for your help.
    Greetings from Chile.
    Jaime

I love watching vlogs like this. Most people like buying cars new, but I like getting used cars just to fix them up. You’re doing an excellent job of explaining each process and adding humor which makes watching your videos entertaining. Others are either cringey, talk too much before getting to the point, or just straight up annoying. Keep up the great work.

Very nice instructive step by step and good camera. Only one nit pick from an old maintenance man: this is a bit of work over all so just go ahead take a little more time and clean that "regulator" guide track well with brake cleaner or even wd40. It is the old hard grease with grit /dirt that destroys these.

You would need to put back your moisture barrier.
