- Here is a new video of my Skelita Calaveras repaint. She is from the Monster Scaritage Line. Skelita is one of my all time favorite characters from monster high and I had so much fun repainting her. Acetone
The Army Painter "Anti-Shine" Primer
Water Colored Pencils
Soft Pastels

Do you prefer not to use kneadable erasers? I think you might find them a little easier than the long one you used in the video.
Thanks for the tip! The kneadable erasers i usually use to lessen the intensity of the blushing, i feel like the harder erasers give me more precision. ;)

As for submitting, this right now is just a fun hobby for me and sort of a creative outlet at the moment. If they happen to see my stuff, I would be more then happy n flattered.
can i use the usual faber castell water colored pencils, or are there specific ones i should get to repaint her?? also, can i only use acetone, eraser, and water colored pencils to repaint her??
Yes you can use faber castell water colored pencils. That's the brand I use myself. Acetone is to remove the factory paint on the face. You can use whatever materials you want but you must spray it with MR. Super clear UV FLAT spray before you use your pencils on it. You have to do at least 3 layers of it before you start.
use the acetone to remove factory paint, then immediately layer the face 3 times with the spray?? or should i wait for some time to do the next steps??? .... and if i make any mistake when using the colored pencils, can i clear it with the eraser?? i'm sorry i ask too much
Zaki Chandra after you remove the paint. Wash the face with some light soap and water to get any remaining acetone off. Once it is completely dry. Spray the face. Wait 30 minutes in between each layer of spray. Once it is dry, you can draw on the doll and if you make a mistake, you can erase it. Mind you start with lighter colors to map out what you wanna do and gradually build to your final result. If you wanna save your progress, spray a layer over your work and it will save what you ahead one and you can draw over that without removing the bottom layer if you erase.

Where you buy your pencils?
You can find them at any of your art supply stores. I use faber-castell watercolor pencils.
MARK JONATHAN My 13 year old niece has recently gotten into drawing (She's actually surprisingly good, especially for her age) and she loves those pencils.
