Its so lovely to handle. I'm definitely making myself one for next year to do my monthly reflections. Just do 6 envelopes then I can put 12 tags in it. I really need to write this down 🙄
@@Tania-Tatttytreasure oh yes, write it down 😂 I make lists and then lose them, so I’ve started making them in notes on my ipad. Now I just need to remember to look in the notes 😂🌟 xx

Oh I had a laugh with that crazy tape! Forget fly strips! Although can you imagine walking into that tape and having it stuck in your hair?!

Haha that tape really does not like me. I'm not sure if the tape or the string was the worst part 🤣 but 🤔 it's a great project it's definitely got the fun factor 😁

Hi Tania, I’m over visiting from Julie & I’m really excited to see another way to use recycled envelopes! It’s going to be a great little journal! In hindsight, would you still use that (super-sticky) tape, or maybe use something else a bit easier to get through with your needle? Your journal will never fall apart, that’s a fact, though!! I liked the way the muslin was glued down so easily, it really looks good! Thanks! Erica❤

I made a journal using junk envelopes and filled it with Tim Holtz ephemera lots of lace and other goodies. 😊 yes I agree about the sounds of the envelopes 🌹

I want to do another with bigger envelopes next time and may be add a few pages 😁

@@Tania-Tatttytreasure that might work. I had been doing the dunk method. Maybe I should save the dunking for my cookies. Lol
Yummy definitely 🤣 I've also found if I get a wet cloth and wipe the glue off first (I was getting all my envelopes stuck together at first)

Haha it was so tuff. I love the look of it though. I have filmed part 2 it will be up beginning of next week, it's decorating the front and back cover which I'm so excited for everyone to see, I didn't think it was going to happen but it came together at the end 😁

Lovely video and I'll have to keep this one in mind. I best start saving old envelopes. My son was keeping me company while I'm working on my project and watching you and all I heard was "Mom, she's got a great camera. Wow her lightings really good. Hey, is she saying drunk journal ?" OMGosh Tania, I think I'll have to watch again, he kept talking over you and my with my laughter I have no idea what I just watched !! But I'll give it an A+++ as usual !! xoxo
Hahaha I work on a photo board as well and I think that really helps make it look nice. It wasn't a expensive light it is a talk stand up ring light and I have it more orange than white light. I film on my phone 🤣 and its not a I phone. I have things I use in my amazon favourites if you wanna see.

@@Tania-Tatttytreasure Yes, my son also told me he likes your desk top scene much better than mine. Boy, talk about a moral boost, my son is brutal, I think he's on your payroll ! I use my Samsung which I love, and I do have 2 lights that sit at each side of my workspace. I'll have to check out that photo board. Still watching your videos and it's a lovely way to catch up while I work on my scrapbooks today.

I’ve been doing the daily inspiration pages with her and it’s been fun , I put out over 200 books between 2018-2019 and I burned out I have a book on my desk and keep pushing it aside! So this is a nice break! Looking forward to see all this come together 🥰have a great week and happy Easter

@@Tania-Tatttytreasure yes I’m on iG follow you already,, haven’t posted much on Fb except in IzzyBee Fb group! 2020 was a bad year🤦♀️ all the craft fairs were canceled over here in the us ,, and that where I usually sell the journals! Won’t find out till June of this year if we are going to be aloud to have them again!

I’m busy dying envelopes don’t have a amazon box but have cereal boxes do you think I need to glue 2 together or will one be enough

I think one will be fine. I would either put tyvek, tape or material down the inside spine for more stability 😁
