    Well, as the axiom goes: "He who enters the conclave as pope leaves it as a cardinal." The Lord Holy Spirit knows what he is doing; let us never undermine that!

      Read what St Francis prophesied on his death bed, then look at Bergoglio's "election'' The Cardinals [AKA the St Gallen Mafia] IGNORED the Holy Spirit and foisted the fake 'pope' on the Church. Please look it up - Only the least educated follow the evil one with eyes wide shut!

    I remember watching the opening of the conclave on TV, and saw every voting cardinal take an oath of absolute secrecy, which is as it should be. But you have all of these vote totals and details, which means some cardinals were not true to their oath. Am I the only one who finds that troubling?

    • @schroederscurrentevents3844
      @schroederscurrentevents3844 Před 2 měsíci

      The oath of secrecy is in only during the election. They’re free to give details of the conclave after it is finished.

      The 'cardinals' who planned the upheaval in our Church and Faith did so knowing that in doing so they spat in God's holy face. That means that had no compunction about publicly taking a false and gravely sinful 'oath',

    The problem with younger men as pope is that they last longer, for example John Paul 2 close to 25 years on the papacy the cardinals don't want such long tenure on the throne of peter.

    One of the rules of a Conclave is that only 4 scrutinies (Voting Sessions) are allowed in one day. The rules were broken for Bergoglio and was voted Pope on the 5th Voting session. A 5th is forbbiden.

    The theme for the 1958 conclave that elected John XXIII could be called "the anyone but Cardinal Siri for pope." Cardinal Siri, I understand, was one of the great minds of the 12th century.
    Cardinal Koenig came to regret his politicking for John Paul II. Not once but twice, John Paul ignored Koenig's recommendations for Koenig's successor in Vienna, one of whom had to be removed due to accusations of abuse. Koenig knew of John Paul due to his diplomatic work for the Church in eastern Europe. Koenig, a leader at Vatican II, didn't how conservative the Polish prelate was. Supposedly, Koenig apologized to progressive Catholics for managing John Paul's election as pope,
    Too bad, Cardinal Montini wasn't elected; he would made a great pope.

    • @user-tv8mg2vh5f
      @user-tv8mg2vh5f Před 2 měsíci

      I believe that Montini was not seriously considered in 1958 because he was not yet a cardinal. While being a Prince of the Church is not a requirement for selection as Pope, it has been a tradition for centuries. Of course, Montini was selected in 1963 after the death of John XXIII

      @@ransomcoates546 I meant Carlo Martini of Milan. He would have been better than Ratzinger, but again, anyone would have been a better pope than Ratzinger.
      As for the 1958 conclave, Archbishop Montini of Milan got a few votes. The future Pope Paul VI was the right hand of Pius XIII, until Montini criticized the handling of the Vatican finances by the Pacelli nephews. Pius sent Montini to Milan without a red hat. John XXIII made Montini a cardinal at his first consistory. Near the end of his life, John XXIII said Montini would make a good pope. Mpntini wasn't a great thinker but was a good adminitrator

    It's clearly not God's decision.
    God's permissive Will rather than active Will is not God's decision.

    Catholicism is work salvation, please turn to Christ in faith as the Bible clearly says we are saved by grace which translates to CHARIS meaning "unmeritted favor/free gift." quite literally. There is a Reason why Paul says in Romans "for the wages of sin is death, but the FREE gift of God is eternal life through christ Jesus our lord." Again grace's literal translation in the Greek is "unmeritted favor/free gift." Salvation is completely free all you have to do is believe that what Jesus did for you 2000 years ago actually worked. He died as a substitute for sin on the cross for you and me because the penalty for sin is death, if the penalty has already been paid and "by grace you have saved through faith" then all you are doing is believing that his payment was for you, a.k.a excepting it and believing you have eternal life as a result of his finished work (and of course believing he rose from the dead as a dead savior can't save you.) The reason you cannot add a work to Christ's finished work is because as Paul makes clear in Romans 11:6 "And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work." You aren't under grace if you add something to the gospel because grace must be unmeritted for it to be attributed to you. Again, you are just trusting in what Christ already did for you, that's why in ephesians Paul says "after you believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of promise, which is the GUARANTEE of our inherentance until the redemption of the purchased possession." Paul can't use the word guarantee here if salvation is partially based off of something you do, as obviously YOU can fail in your efforts meaning there is obviously no guarantee. But if it is entirely based off of what Christ did, then there is a guarantee.

      Electing Ratzinger might also be considered a "great mistake" by many people. He did little to fix the sex abuse AND financial scandals in the Vatican. No wonder he resigned.
