My younger sister and I would watch three-hour blocks of syndicated game shows on both the USA Network and the Family Channel (now known as Freeform) all afternoon long during our summer vacations home from school! This theme is different, but I liked this new musicalized version. At least this was different from that tacky theme Henry Mancini did for the disappointing "Tic Tac Dough 90" series. This did not have a feel for competing on a game show. Instead, it resembled a theme for a Saturday morning cartoon show set in a fairy tale land where a great princess lives.
The original Joker's Wild was simply a quiz show where they play six categories and the set resembling a one armed bandit. All the categories were $50. Two categories and a joker was worth $100. Two jokers and and a categories are worth $200. A natural triple (three of the same category) waa worth $300. The first contestant to reach $500 won the game and got the chance to face the devil. A contestant spins to reach $1,000 without seeing the devil won prizes. One more thing: if a contestant got three jokers and answered correctly he (she) won the game.

That joker is creepy to me and really creeped me out when I'd have trouble sleeping and was up at like 2 in the morning and came across this. This joker made Jack Barry's devil seem almost like a safe zone LOL
Even though it is entirely repetitive, it was still a great theme song for the 90 version. It's very catchy.
Such an under appreciated theme song. Still one of my favorites.

That Joker is different, than the original Joker. The original Joker, flips upside-down. If I do that, I would injure myself.
