My 12 year old son wore his Rancid shirt to school the other day and told me his science teacher hi fived him and said "That shirt brings back lots of memories!" 😃😂
MAYBE theirs hope for our youth.
:)

@@TheMichaelseymour lol!!!
As a 51 year old old school punk I love this band and indeed all what lars and Tim do solo. Long live punk. Love and peace to punks around the world.
Love back to you from Reading, Pa USA
Cheers from Croatia!
Salud desde chile
Thanks bud. 36 year old punk rocker here and same goes.
Are you from Ireland? I'm 34 from Singapore and living in Ireland. Into Rancid since 16.
This song mixes punk, ska and rap so perfectly. I'm 40 and have been listening to this band since I was 14.
I'm 37 and nothing gets me in a good mood like punk rock -- we're in this for life.
@@misterderp4566 fuck yeah buddy
you and I both my friend!
same! since i was 13, now im 31.
True!
Matt Freeman is like the most overlooked bass player ever. He is truly awesome
Truth!
This is a fun song to play
as a bass player i confirm this, hes a great musician and have great style
maxwell murders bass solo is one of the greatest solos ever
Word!
And out come the wolves was the first album I heard from the fellows of Rancid. I was in high school back then. Now I'm 38 with a 12 year old daughter with a Punk attitude who does what she wants instead of a crowds wants, and plays a saxophone in a first chair position for her schools bands. Honour Roll is "eh" because she gets bored but she's a good kid, and I'm happy we share Punk together.
you sound like an awesome dad, keep it up
+Aaron Jackson for real lol
+Myles Eastin
Saxophone, hopefully she plays some ska
+Myles Eastin schools have great orchestras and choruses, too bad it doesn't translate to mainstream musiq...
Myles Eastin bless!!!!!👊
im 63yrs now loved all the ska punk reggae scene through the 70s speshly da clash ..also love this band 🎶🇬🇧
I'm 68 and I'm still seeing these guys whenever they play in the SF Bay Area. Hopping around the pit at a Rancid show takes 20 years off you! So I guess I'm really only about 14.
My man! Check you out living in a concrete jungle. Your an individual and stuck in the pit! Goid stuff my man!
You were an older fan even way back then! Awesome!
back then the whole youth in my island(Bali) are all have Rancid sew on our jacket and we all love Punk Rock
Felix AngkasDOPE!
so?
so? that's badass.....
My brother got me into this band this and fall back down are my fav songs
Felix Angkasa so...?
My first impression of Rancid was WTF !! my son listened to them over and over again and this music grew on me so much that I brought him to a Rancid concert and loved it !! Im 42 and will listen to this until the day i die. Thanx Bret
I'm 40 and have been a Rancid fan since I was 16!
I'll never stop listening to ska, punk & 2tone.
Check out The Interrupters if you like the ska side of Rancid!
Ska for life it's infectious!!
I grew up in a punk rock family my dad would put this shit on and I never knew how to feel but to lift those knees high and swing those arms
I'm going on 55....
Rancid is from your childhood time. My boss is same age he grew up in late 90s early 2000’s. He is punk and also told me life was like American pie 1 and 2. Life was simple in those time. Now just phone zombies.
If you listened to Rancid as a 10 year old and you are a full fledged adult I know you are a savage, and I mean that in best way possible! Don't ever let the haters stop you from doing your thang! That's what this band taught me, but always be safe, caring, and respectful of others autonomy. These guys are my chosen uncles haha. Love them for life!
thx
Well, I didn't discover Rancid until '98 but I'm still punk AF at 63. My son gave me a Tim Armstrong figurine for Mother's Day cuz I said f**k flowers I want Tim! I wear my Punk Til I Die t-shirt all the time.
Yes I am. 35 now
Loved this video coming in during summers with my dad - raised on rancid and transplants and proud!!!
When I first heard this song I was like 14 and I fell in love with it instantly. Things were darker those days, I was in state custody and I thought I'd end up like Casey. Well, 11 years later I'm working as designer and doing a MSc in energy engineering. I'm getting my license in like 3 months so I won't even have to take the bus downtown... :)
Good job getting yourself out of mess, and good luck in future life.
Just saw this video today for the first time (March 2019). It's so awesome!!!! Huge fan of Rancid but haven't watched many of their vids.
This has been my summer 2020 jam, love this band! Good vibes. 🔗

Rancid Forever Forever Rancid RFFR!
Still blazing dro and punk since forever!!
fuck it s beautyful
almost 2020
Just saw them at MSG
Grew up in Los Angeles listening to this band. The past couple of years I spent living in Oakland and Alameda using the BART and my old Buick to get around, kinda surreal to roll around bumping this song, Rancid made me feel like I knew the area lol. I know this video is filmed at CBGB but they are a bay area band
Rancid will always hold a special place in me for being in my to 3 favorite bands no matter if I'm going thru a rap phase, an 80's phase or emo shit. they and the other top 5 (which isn't ranked just my 5 favorite bands) will never switch up for some other shit. Big ups to my dad for introducing me to the good shit
I was 15 when I first heard of Rancid I got really into them fast! Saw them live when ever and could! Still listening today I love Rancid and will always love them! They bring back such memories and their music just rocks! Even my dad likes them! He has for years now!
Brings back my teens years, the distillers, gnh, flogging molly, the addicts. man, love punk!
I used to skate while listening to this album 🤘🏽really takes me back to my teenage years
I love your music 💪😎

i LOVE how she's dressed
I wouldn't mind having Tim Armstrong sit behind me on busses and sing about me
@@FireIsTheCIeanser Why does Tim love buses so much?

this song is what started my love of this band, complete random click, entirely by accident, best accident to date!👍 now im in love with Punk and most definitely LOVE THIS BAND- RANCID!
+deaderthendead041 Try listening to Operation Ivy if you haven't already, it's the same singer. Also The King Blues would probably be up your ally. They're a contemporary ska punk group. I'd reccomend ooking up Let's Hang the Landlord or Set The World on Fire
+Chris Seaby well not necessarily the same singer, as Jesse Michaels was the singer of op ivy, but yea Tim and Matt were in op ivy. check out common rider, Interrupters, mighty mighty bosstones...good ska-punk!
Chris Seaby thanks i definitely will 👍✌
Jay O'Donnell i was surprised at how easy it is to enjoy the music, and i totally agree they so have that effect got me hooked for sure and probably many others, glad they are playing gigs again cant wait to see em live!

Excelent Video, Nice Band... Thanks Rancid Come to Mexico Please !
Classic album and underrated
2019 im still jumping around to this tune love Rancid first tune was salvation and i just had to get all there tapes then CD's lmao
One of the most important bands of all time. This song is as good as punk gets. Love Rancid
I grew up with a girl who reminded me of Casey. We grew up in a small town, we were in the same classes from kindergarten all the way through high school. She had a rough home life and turned to alcohol and drugs in her late teens to cope with it I guess. When I left town for a better life, she was into crack and heroin. When this album came out I'd often shed a tear thinking about her. It's been 21 years since then and I'm happy to say my friend turned her life around, she's clean and has a beautiful family. Now I cant help but smile whenever I hear this song. Thanks for reading my story.
Perhaps the coolest video ever. Man it brings back some good memories. A great time and a great scene.
Am 51 now so to see ska and punk alive and well does me proud.
ok boomer

Don't worry boomer and new generations are punk and love punk music
The last verse is one of the best verse's of any song -- punk/alt rock have some of the best lyrics
I like rancid and this song but you got to listen to more music
these guys are AWESOME!!!!
I always listen Rancid's songs.
Such an adictious song. Rancid rules!
Addicting baby. Addiction is a son of a.... I was an addict for about a decade. I'd say all in all addiction gives perspective... Albeit, you'll never feel better than when you can naturally feel good. Water is key. Patience is a virtue. Peace.
Masterpiece.
Timeless song..timeless
RANCID:THANKS ALL U GUYS FOR SAVING AT LEAST 1 LIFE WITH YOUR MUSIC.MINE.I OWE THIS BAND,THESE GUYS,MY LIFE.THANK YOU!!!
This was the first Rancid song I ever heard back when I was 12. I'm 26 now.. Man time flies. Make the most of what you have in the present.
Everyone who gave a “thumbs down” to this song should be ashamed of themselves. Rancid, has been giving us great tunes for 25+ years
The thumbs down are probably because of all the fucking censoring over the track. 🤷🏽♂️
@@Vaughandrix Or They Not Appreciated a Great in Your Face Free🖕 Spirit Band.
im about to thumbs down because its censored ya fuckin poser
Because of Skinhead Rob. His shit is embarrassing
I just listened to out come the wolves an awesome album from my childhood.
Much love to all from the gutter to your lover.
Best Brah... Thnx Rncd!
Rancid will never die!!!
I've raised a 2nd generation of punk rockers. Thanks Rancid.
If I had to sum up Rancid in one song, this is the one. ❤️❤️
Per i Rancid è solo pollice in su. 👍👍👍
Heard rancid first In middle school, 37 now and still listening to them, here's to another shit load of years.
Same. Also 37, also one of the first punk bands I heard in middle school. They were part of my shift away from grunge and nu metal.
This song takes me back to my old school days. when there is a big national event, each of the best schools is gathered to bring a traditional dance that has been choreographed. During recess, then I played this song with a loudspeaker, then I and some friends started doing POGO in the middle of the field, suddenly all the students from other schools started running after us to the center of the field and began to follow our movements, what an unexpected moment I will never forget, including this Rancid band
2020 and still great
Man these guys are great
Matt freeman... amazing Bass player!!!!
the fucking best
This jam should have way more views.
one of the catchiest songs I have heard
Their music only ages gracefully.
2:20 definition of flow.
Grunge has a black hole sun, punk has a red hot moon
Black hole sun is a horrible song. Love SG but that song is shit
@@DB-dm2xm I always thought it was "black hole'd son." Now that you mention it that song DOES suck.
i am really enjoy every rancid songs , especially this song,
My dad has raised me right. I've been listening to Rancid and Minor Threat since i was quite literally a newborn
I turned into one hell of a filthy crust punk. I couldn't life any other way. Much love to all the other punks out there. ^^
man, my early teens were a wild time. gotta thank this band for that.
I love song❤
Playing this while chilling in my backyard in the summer was the best
still one of the best songs and video
Josssss !!!!
This brings back memories! Early 20s, I was so proud my name is Casey
Hui hab euch vor kurzem gefunden...Klasse danke für die Power
My favorite Rancid song
I remember when London was full of cool looking punks in the 80s. Wish more humans looked this way because I miss it here in the UK.
Come to L.A. we are violent and dress like this.
BIG Nasty true. LA is still kicking. I myself am from Hollywood.
I love the ending to this video when she sees herself on the floor and the bus just says "SOMEWHERE ELSE".
Some people who want to move back home can't because they do drugs and overdose. Moral of story.
Lol. This brings back memories to picking up my neighbor drunk and passed out after some shows at the Allen theatre. Always fun to see kids enjoying themselves.
Absolute GOLD!!!
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
Casey's from Cali, California
She's got a reputation that she didn't ask for
She's waiting for an escape now, escape is called the one sixty four
Now, Casey, she won't admit when she is wrong
Now Casey, she wants to run, run, run
She's a punk rocker, she don't trust no one
On a south end bus all alone
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
Casey was never caught up, like the rest of the rats in a fucking maze
Check me out she said, I'm in a concrete jungle
I'm an individual and you are stuck in a haze
Oh hell no, she knows what the truth is
Because she said so, she knows who her friends are
So fuck you, don't get no closer
It'll only make her run far away
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
I know Casey's brother pretty well, you see
We spent a lot of time hanging out
I always thought for sure that she'd be the one
To get out of here and make a life for herself
But when we found her in the little league park
In the dugout it was cold in the dark
And no one knew why she wouldn't wake up
I think she finally made it back home
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
Under a red hot moon, take a bus downtown to the graveyard shift tonight
[Rob Aston:]
One time for your mind, two times for your soul
Three for the graveyards and the money I fold
Dimmed out in the city where the sun burns slow
No hope, it's a pity, I can't say no
Not my time to go, it's not my time to die
The last thing I want is for my mother to cry
It was love at first light the very first night, things have never been the same since I took my first flight
The way I live my life, I love; I live lavish
Lost me from the start, you lose, you'll never have it
Untouched, unleashed, back up, you don't want it
Stick 'em for his cash, it's back, now he's fronting
Take two and pass, I'll take two and blast
Bust a motherfucker; I'm out on a flash
Pimped out, high as fuck, I'm out of control
Let's bounce, rock, skate, man I'm ready to roll
Under the red hot moon
Under the red hot moon
Under the red hot moon
Under the red hot moon
Under the red hot moon
Yeah, that’s pretty much what they said.
Campbell, California
Love it uncles
You sure it's not "let's say" I knew her brother pretty well
❤
Another red hot moon. Take the bus downtown to the grave yard shift tonight. Cant stop jamming to this

Yup, still bouncing to this
I’m going to see them in September 2020 !! I hope they sing this song 🥰
I see everyone is writing nostalgic comments about this band and this song, but I don't have any memories, I just found this band. But god, these are good songs
Just now i realized the irony on she having an OD wearing a Minor Theat shirt.
Check out a song called From Here To Utopia. It's less uncommon than you'd think.
