Bacteria do not survive in lava.
I think that magmasaurs are sort of reference to the gronckles from How To Train Your Dragon. Gronckles and Magmasaurs are spitting Lava Charges in form of giant fire balls.
He can also burn creatures by just aiming at them whith the fire charge like enlarging glass

You need ingota for the spit tho right? Pretty important fact you left out
The reason you can't do the aoe attack without searing spit is because you need a heated environment to charge it.. if you do it in the arctic you'll hit a point where it just won't even charge. At this point you also can't do the attacks that require a charging, searing spit.
So I'm not sure what it does but it has a turret option when you get off the Dino and go into it settings I think it might shoot magma at things when it's at your base or when you're off the dino when enemies are near kind of like the spiky Raptor from Extinction but I haven't tested this yet

THE MAGMASAUR DOES NOT SURVIVE IN THE MAGMA OF RAGNAROK OR VALGUERO

Bro I caught my first magmasaur egg and I saw a dino walking on lava without dying 💀 maybe he was getting hurt but I couldn’t see it but he was walking on it like it was water lol
genesis lava is different you don't die instantly from it you get damage over time

I dont know why but i cant use it i have a lvl 76 one i only can use the normal melee attacks and not the Grenade or Shooting thing but i can get 100% searing Split
on console if you attack you can hold searing spit charge so you don't have to charge the attack you can just shoot both attack and still move
but it drains the meter the longer you hold it
Btw the grenades attack is extremely weak especially when you can just *SPIT AT YOUR FEAT FOR MUCH MORE DAMAGE*

These things farm obsidian like a mf. I play on unofficial and we use hard poly for currency and this thing basically made us alpha

Which one is better? A Phoenix or a Magmasaur?
BryDav Massbear magamsaur is easier to get and can damage all structures, Phoenix is harder to get and it flys really fast but is kinda weak.
The Archangel was it recently changed because one of the testing videos I watched, they could damage tek. And I know they’re different just putting some pros and cons for the people that asked.
Anyone know a counter for these
Be somewhere not hot or simply a few strong rexes, a single strong reaper, or a strong/breed giga. These guys may have strong offence but just average defence.
