- Heartland Season 17 Episode 9 has just been released, and I’m here to do a recap and review of what happened, mainly Amy returning to her favorite place, the swing that Ty built for her.

If Amy stays with Nathan after everything he said in episode 9 of season 17 and was very rude and clear that he doesn't believe in love. I'm sorry but she never really loved Ty, it was just an act. Nathan is a guy who stole Garland from her grandfather and father, a guy 8 years older who doesn't know what Love is. I simply won't understand what true love is, because Ty gave his life for her when he faced that bullet in seasons 13 and 14. Amy has to take care of her daughter and save her love for Ty, I doubt if it were the other way around Ty would marry again. Of course not, that's why I think this TV show no longer exists, just the big eyes of the producers from seasons 13 to 17 to make more money. In every season they use Ty's name to attract fans. Heartland was very good from seasons 1 to 13. Put an end to this soap opera of fools.

If Heartland is gone soap opera why do you keep watching and commenting on it , you just keep repeating yourself !! Everything that we think is broken ( drama ) will find a way to fix itself , if it's meant to be . I think that Amy and Nathan will talk eventually . Talking can do wonders for understanding and peace of mind . Everything will mostly be left in the balance for season 18 , which will take forever to come 🤷♀️ by the way I really like and enjoy all the new events and story lines and cast you brought to our great Heartland series . 🐴🐎🐎🐂🐃🐄 THANK YOU 😍🥰😍

And I hook up with another partner am I not giving my heart again to him/her or is it something different I am giving!! I agree completely. But one can also learn to love another in a different way. But so far no one has been worthy of Amy’s love. Caleb might be the only one, but she isn’t ready to open her heart to him in that way…
@@bisra3933 Interesting! I didn't realize there were different lives for a person! Always thought ya either loved a person or ya didn't! I guess Amy could then love Chase, Amhed, Edwin, the old guy Nathan or even Caleb in a different love than she said she had with Ty!!!
The love story between Amy and Ty was always the best part of watching Heartland. It was such a loving, and powerful relationship that most would characterize it as perfect. That is why many fans continue to watch the series for any reference or inclusion of Ty in the lives of Amy and lindy. In my opinion, the writers don't do enough of Amy talking about Ty especially to Lindy. The introduction of Nathan as Amy's new love interest or as some would say the new Ty is only to keep things interesting and not boring. In the end, the Amy and Lyndy connection to Ty will always prevail over everything else including any new love interest for Amy.
Tbf the series is already getting alot less love since Ty died, getting Amy in a new relationship might kill the series.
Altough for me i havent been able to watch anything after season 13 it just isnt for me anymore.

You are so right but unfortunately it is going on deaf ears. Family values mean nothing to those you mentioned only $$$$$$ 💰💰! They just can't understand for 13 solid years everyone watched because of the Amy/Ty saga and what was going to happen next in there journey. Sure there were side bar mini stories but that's all they were! You just can't take either one of Amy or Ty characters out and expect to put in some over aged fill in and say there the story is back again! Will never never happen! Just saying!!

The real success of Heartland was and still is the Amy and Ty love story. The dating in season 17 especially Amy's relationship with Nathan is simply the writers attempt to keep the storyline interesting, and not boring. I believe if Ty comes back to the show Heartland will continue with Ty, Amy and Lindy together again. If he doesn't return the writers will conclude the series with Amy unable to accept another(not just because Ty can't be replaced} because of her continuing strong love and feelings for Ty. She will conclude that her peace and happiness is with her as a single mother raising Lindy in the manner Ty would have wanted. In my opinion, because we had 14 years of this remarkable love story, whereby the viewers got to intimately know Ty, it makes it nearly impossible to erase him from the viewers minds and on a larger scale future Heartland seasons.
In order for Heartland to work, Ty's relevance and influence must be present in Amy and Lindy's life. Amy must talk more about Ty to Lindy, how amazing he was as a father, husband and overall person. Fans know Ty can't be replaced, therfore all of this "Amy needs a man" drama especially with Nathan are the writer's attempts to keep things interesting and not boring{this is a drama series}.But in the end the story will revert back to Ty and Amy, because in my opinion this series first and foremost is and will always be the Amy and Ty love story.

Just to clear this up, Nathan said that he was a few years younger than Lou. Lou is 8 years older than Amy. So Nathan is probably 5 years older than Amy. He's a guy that had his heart broken by someone he loved very much. Give him a chance.

So no let's not give this guy who can't ride a horse any chance to work his way into the family. The Fleming's have a habit of breaking hearts so what's one more. I don't know what Nathan said to Amy about TYs death
He said, every relationship ends in heartbreak. When Amy said her relationship with Ty was beautiful, Nathan said no, it ended in heartbreak too (because Ty died). It was not wrong, Amy's heart did break when Ty died but it wasn't like a regular heartbreak, so it was just an insensitive thing to say

Endings are like this…..when people leave your life either living or in death is not that these are bad people, it is that their part in your own story is over. We are also in parts of other peoples story because we ourselves either leave for one reason or another and we ourself will also die. We all will leave someone without us. For those who remain have to make their own choice on how to go on without previous relationships. Such is a Divorce that is a living death in relationships. Everything passes, it stops, changes in ways we have not choice or control of. Camping out in the past of should have, could have, would have makes one blind to the current reality and takes away from seeing hope for a future. In short, don’t stop there, move on. Things happen for a reason, don’t miss out on the reason.
John; I don't think fans were watching the Ty & Amy romance .ie they're not watching for real life but saw something magical in Ty's & Amy's relationship. Something we all aspire to!!!
This is a series! Characters come and go. Not everyone is going to like each story line. Yes, we love some more than others. It takes time. If anyone has watched the series “When calls the Heart”… It has taken 5 more seasons for Elizabeth to finally feel like she could move on after the love of her life died in season 5. It too was heart breaking. Amy isn’t out looking for love but men are interested in her. We need these “duds” so that when the “right” one comes along, we also learn to like him, along with Amy.
Amy is not out looking for love!!!! Oh don't know about that! She has liked alot of guys over 17 seasons, some while she was wearing Ty's rings or they were dating her best friend at the time!!!
