This is such a lovely painting, Karen! I love that you included so much technical content in it in such a short time frame. It is easy to follow and the end result is wonderful. I think the addition of the people really added to the painting and I get a calm and cozy feeling looking at it 😊. I am a beginning watercolorist so this will be a wonderful painting for me to practice those techniques. I will definitely give it a go by the weekend and see how I do 😀 thanks so much! 💕

I hate seeing the end before I receive the gifts of your wonderful imagination and technique. It came out so beautiful. xxx

Watching someone who knows what they re doing is so useful - it’s also made me rethink my (so far) tepid response to watercolour - you’ve demonstrated how to “control” this fluid medium. Lovely imaginary winter scene. Thank you for explaining, so clearly, all the different wetness levels and how it interacts. The little people demo was really good. I always have a problem with this.

Wonderful! I hardly use shadows at all, they should be incorporated everywhere as you demonstrated. So many excellent instructional points in this. Thank you!
