    Just found this... it's great. Great insights by Keith and Darryl and good questions from Doug. The game has changed a lot from the 80s. Darryl was talking about Wally, Mookie and Lenny setting the table. They would always have a hit and run on with those guys. The biggest mistake was losing Seaver in 84. If they had Tom they probably would have won in '84 and '85 too.

    Since Keith says he was disgusted by the smell of booze on an umpire who'd been drinking, I have to wonder what the catchers were experiencing. That could not have been pleasant, one inning after another.

      Spring training’89. Straw went after Keith during photo shoot. Im sure they made up years before this
