Thank you so much my friend! And for all the nice comments so far here in the comments. That model was super pivotal in my modeling career. And this video brought back lots of great memories!
You’re most welcome buddy!! And thanks for allowing me to share this gorgeous and unique build!!
Amazing work, Clay!
Clay is an amazing ambassador to the craft. Beautiful build.
Yes he is!! Thanks buddy!!
I wish I had those skills...totally awesome
Thanks buddy!! Yes sir, Clay has some serious skills!!
Excellent pick. Both you and Clay know what connection this truck model has for me. I have somewhere, the beat up Scale Auto with this truck on the cover that Frank carried everywhere with him as he built his Fantasy Sunoco Camaro that you guys saw in Atlanta. What it meant to him to have both you and Clay be impressed with his work. It was the world to him. You said it Mark. Yes it's all about the models in this hobby. But at the end of the day. What its really all about is the bond and friendships we have all created between one another.
Thank you very much my friend!! Very well said buddy! Yes, Frank was quite the builder too!
Whoooo!!! The level of detail is unreal!!! Side note, they really need to come out with these NASCAR trucks again, I'd buy them right up
Thanks brother!! I agree, I’d buy them too!!
It was and still is an awesome build. I was always in total awe of this one.
Thank you brother!! Still amazed by it myself!

I had the chance to meet clay for the first time at the KC show. I was completely star struck. I had the chance to see his Elliott build up close. It struck me how accurate it was. His details are sooooo clean.
Thank you Terry!! Yes sir, Clay builds on another level!!
I really love the detail. Especially love that he chose the Dodge truck to do!
I agree!! Love those Mopars!! Thanks buddy!!

I remember this truck from years ago and is just as awe inspiring now as it was then as is all of his work.

Have a great weekend!!!
What a fantastic build, Thanks Mark. Ron
Yes it is!! Thanks Ron!
Honestly, I think all of Clay’s builds fall into the “cool” category. His skills are well above and beyond the skills of about 98% of modelers. Everything he touches is great. The Wrangler decal on the tires is a great finishing touch. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael!! I absolutely agree!!
That truck has awesome detail to it. Love the hat Mark. Thanks for sharing
Thank you very much Greg!! Yes sir, an awesome build!
Hat’s from the Petty Museum. Check out their store! Great stuff and it’s all autographed!
Clays one of the best builders building. I wish he did more videos but I imagine the time is spent building instead. I have stacks of cig foil. I use for various things. Learned from Clay.
I absolutely agree!! I’d like to see more of his videos as well, but I know how much work goes into doing them. Yes sir, the cig paper was an awesome idea!
Clay is amazing this did catch my attention the first time I saw the detail is flawless , those Dodge trucks are cool, thank you for sharing and thank you Clay have a great week my friend 🙂🏁🏁
Thank you very much brother!! Yes sir, an absolutely awesome build!!

Yes sir, it does look like a shrunk down real truck! Thanks Allan!
Great video Mark! I never got to see this in Atlanta because my first year down there was 2005. I have seen it at his house though and it’s incredible!
Thanks Jay!! Yes sir it is!

Thank you sir!! Yes sir it is!!
@@MarkBatsonHobbydude007 your welcome 😁
I remember that model.
Thanks brother!! An awesome old build!!
Clay Kemp does amazing work, a TRUE inspiration! I'm a subscriber to his CZcams channel,
and it's too bad he doesn't have time to put a weekly video up! That guy is in HIGH demand
for as talented as he is! Every single one of his videos is AMAZING!!!! Thanks for your continued
contributions brother. YOUR videos are AWESOME too!!!!
Thank you Jeff!! Yes sir, Clay is da man!! He stays really busy and like you I wish he posted more often too! He is a true gift to our hobby!! Many thanks again my friend!!
That is sick…
Yes sir!! Thanks!
👍He does excellent work. His brass fabrication is a great tutorial. Another favorite of mine is A4 Garage. His hinge work is hard to rival. You’re no slouch either.😁👏👏
Thank you very much buddy!! I absolutely agree!! Clay is da man!!

The little things like taping off joints for heat stain. 👍 I’ll try that on the exhaust on a NASCAR chassis I’m marrying to a street body today. I’ll throw the track exhaust in the tow vehicle. If I decide to rent track time at Searspoint 😁.
Wow! Now that realy is cool. Amazing work all around😎👍🏻, God bless family Batson🙌🏻
Thank you very much my friend!! I agree! Have a blessed week!!
I wish Salvino's JR make the truck series kits
Thank you!! I do too!!
Show piece. But where does one get the reference material to build like that?
Most of it can be found online or from the teams or museums.
Thanks for watching my friend!!
You said 1994, I thought it was 2004.
Oops! I stand corrected. It was indeed 2004. Thanks David!
I think everyone loses sight of the fact that he did all this LONG before anyone ever head or even conceived of 3d printing. Those pieces are machined, carved or cast from scratch by hand. Of course I know better, he has a shrink Wray.
Absolutely brother!! I LOVE research, scratch building and machining but Clay has more going on in his head than most of us! Truth! 😀 ........to bad he won't share that shrink ray! LOL
THIS I"Z REAL "K😮😅😊L BROTH"R !!! ... .. . ❤ IT ! . 🤪🤩🐎🤠
Thanks brother!! I agree! Love it!’
👍🏁🏁👍
Thanks Tim!!
You sure you two aren't related. WOW.
Thank you very much my friend!! We are brothers of the glue! LOL
