Hot take: Donald Duck is invited. Dude is a war veteran with PTSD who raised his absent sister's and deadbeat brother-in-law's three kids who all have ADHD, he's constantly feuding with his rich-ass uncle who won't give him SHIT to get by. (I am of course going by Carl Barks and Don Rosa canon and not any incarnation of DuckTales).
If you've never checked out the 2017 series, give it a look. It draws a lot from the Carl Barks and Don Rosa canon in a very fun way. Also, Webby is super autistic-coded and I love her.

Demi absolutely killed it, even though this was only the first episode of the series, I feel like he perfectly embodied the spirit of it. Finding a good balance between nonsensical and seeming academic structure

I watch Dropout every day and canceled Netflix and Disney+ because I literally don't need them anymore
Its actually so good, i got it for a month to binge dimension 20 and just kept it for all the other content (which im sure is not a unique story)
Very, very worth it. The TV app has a few glitches but honestly, much less than any other streaming service app (esp HBOMax) but all of the content is good.

all of these presentations from the first episode were great, my partner and i were dying in Mike Trapp's as he almost picked my birthday and it felt like a weird cold reading, Vic Michaelis is obviously always hilarious, but this was ABSOLUTELY the right one to upload. Incredibly funny, please get him on more shows asap

The whole episode was great. I especially loved Trapp’s presentation. The bit about Spider-Man was hilarious, as well as giving the cards to Grant.
I loved all of Trapp's graphs and reasoning. It was so professional, really showed his background.

This whole setup just showed me why Dropout should start doing at least some sketch comedy again. There's no reason to just completely drop it because there is streaming service now.

Sam has outlined why sketch comedy was dropped. It's extremely expensive. Even this isn't really sketch comedy as much as it is a TED Talk. They want to bring it back, but considering how much it costs to have a writer's room, scout locations, and have shoots, the budget isn't really feasible.
@@minusxero I saw that, and I completely see why they're doing that from his perspective. I just look at a show like Thousandaires coming up and wonder why they chose to do that over something their writers are really good at and want to do
