Thanasis is a 2x Greek League Champion, 1x Greek Cup winner, 2x Greek All-Star, 2x GBL All-Star Game MVP, and made the NBA D-League All Defensive 2nd and 3rd team.
Thanasis earned his way into the NBA. He just stinks in the NBA and should have earned his way out by now. Giannis only helped him stay in the league. He got himself drafted by the Knicks the old fashioned way. By impressing scouts.
Ok and there is someone out there who actually deserves that roster spot that is being hogged by a clearly undeserving Thanasis.
Whenever someone is drafted it is a ticking time bomb to prove that they belong. Thanasis had his time to prove whether or not he is NBA worthy and dropped the ball. Now give the Giannis the same energy as you all are giving Bron for hogging a spot on the Bucks away from someone who deserves it.

That Stephen A. Smith segment about advocating for nepotism while acknowledging how nepotism has been detrimental to entire communities throughout history was like a comedy sketch with how absurd it was. Literally defending the practice that can unfairly perpetuate inequality. Absolutely insane.
The irony considering there's probably other black players from poor backgrounds who deserve the opportunity more
@@sibusiso2841 it was a weak draft maybe they weren't good enough
He’s basically saying if you can’t beat them, join them. Do you not plan on leaving your children a legacy to where they don’t have to work as hard as you did?
The fact that SAS and those other clowns defended this as a great moment for the black community is ridiculous. This benefits no one but Lebron and his family. This at a time when none of the kids at the Lebron James I Promise School have been able to read or calculate at grade level in five years. That's going to haunt Akron for a generation.
@pittland44
Nobody is claiming it's benefiting the black community per se. The issue here isn't about this being a positive for the black community; it's about the inconsistent reactions to nepotism. When people engage in nepotism, there's no outcry, but suddenly, it's a problem when LeBron does it? That's a double standard that's hard to ignore.
Nepotism is definitely talked about more now than it’s ever been.
This dude is disingenuous. He's taking every point out of context. Dude knows damn well, the message Nick Wright is conveying.
Because every industry (sport, music, art, movies and entertainment) is riddled with nepotism, which makes it hard for people who don’t have good connections to break through into the scene. You should be picked on your skills and talents, not on who your father or uncle were.
@@kongking6860 Ehhh, to a degree. Cause a lot of the best things aren’t made without chemistry. And the best chemistry is made with people you know best. Nepotism extends to friends too, not just family.
What power does LeBron personally have to force the Lakers to draft his son? He's going to sign somewhere else? And? Where is his power to forcefully have his son drafted? You would never talk about a 55th pick any other time except because it affects LeBron's legacy.

Why? Yall must live a miserable life to be jealous of a black man making boss moves
@the0nlygreat172 Respectfully, even if that was the point Stephen was making it doesn't really change the point Low is making. The practice is horrible no matter who is practicing it. We as Black people should be better than to just accept any handouts we are given even if it does seem to benefit us. Nothing against Bronny but he is obviously not as talented as other picks would have been (including other young black men) that have now lost out on a career making opportunity just so that LeBron can live out a fantasy. I at least respect Bronny because it's clear that he wanted to make his own mark in the game and not get in on his father's coat tails alone. JJ Reddick not that long ago made a statement along the lines of, He is of the belief, that because someone had an easier path taken than others to achieve their ultimate goal, it should not be held against them. This makes perfect sense now, he gets the Lakers head coaching job with no previous professional coaching experience, and Bronny gets drafted to the premier team Lakers, because his father made it that way. To be told that I have to respect and credit JJ and Bronny for reaching a goal the same way as the guys and gals that literally got it out the mudd is insane and psychotic, I can believe we are being told this. Everyone should look down on Nepotism in a league as premier as the NBA, or else things like this would happen more and more

The thing most second round player are not NBA players (except a few) they mostly end up sitting up the bench or out of the league
If anything it'll be the opposite. Bronny will only be known for making it because of LeBron unless he actually develops into an NBA-caliber player
Yall forget bronny was fringe lottery pick before his heart condition
Then he averaged 4 points after, then declared for the draft, he was a “fringe lottery pick” in high school
@@real_howard_stern5969 Draft had been based on potential especially in the 2nd round forever
Was only considered a fringe lottery pick cause of his dad's influence for putting him in the McDonald All American when he had no business being there
@@real_howard_stern5969he did almost die let's not forget that , he missed about half of the season and was on a minutes restriction and for gods sake it was the 55th pick not 5th pick
@@lashawnnowden5543 then he should’ve stayed in school, but his dad is LeGM🤷🏼♂️
The fact that there are people defend the Lakers drafting Bronny that pretends no one talked about Thanasis just shows the level of seriousness they should be give. I'd be willing to bet that some of them were among the many MANY people that were roasting Thanasis throughout this past season.
Thank you for making this

I've never ever heard anyone complain about nepotism when Ken Griffey Jr. was drafted by the Seattle Mariners or when Seth Curry was signed by the Warriors in 2013 or when the Bucks signed Thanasis Antetokounmpo in 2019 so that Giannis could play with his brother. Honestly the only reason why people care about nepotism right now is because it involves Lebron James. Nepotism is literally a non-issue when you're replacing someone the caliber of Bronny James with someone who's just slightly better who will be out of the league in two years.
False equivalence on every example you just put here
Giannis was nowhere good enough to warrant the Bucks bring in his brother for that reason alone. They were hoping to strike diamond again.
Ken Griffey JR was a damn good player for God's sake, I am not american and even I know the guy was hitting bombs , he was a Number 1 overall player and was by most standards looking like he would be better than his dad.
Seth Curry went undrafted , got an UNGUARANTEED contract AND he got cut in the preseason For God's Sake.
If you're going to support something as bad as NEPOTISM , at least do it with good examples
And not just lie to make your point
Disgraceful!
@@akinbulejosamson9329 I can't believe he even tried to compare those greats who were productive before they got drafted?? Bro tweaking
Seth Curry is an nba caliber player. Just because he’s not very good in the nba doesn’t change that
I had no idea who the guy who was drafted first in the draft was... fir the first time ever
Great take you're right on point!
The point is though that both sides of the argument are just taking the focus away from Bronny's real basketball abilities, that should be more interesting!
Every time ESPN complains about White privilege, it is a complaint about nepotism. Like when SAS said what he said about Steve Nash being hired as a coach. SAS said Tony Romo got his job in the media due to nepotism.
Thats the reason why I call him Cap Paul, dude dont realize that he unravel his lies on his own.😂😂
They’re all competing to be the ones to get exclusive lebron & bronny interviews
When people complain about nepotism and Bronny all I hear is "life is not fare 😢😢😢 wah wah wah"
You spit nothing but logic, reason, and facts in this video.
People literally questioned Polinka getting the GM job as Kobe's former agent
It’s crazy how many people glaze Bronny for not living up to the hype.💀
What? You missed the point. You don’t think thanasis connection to giannis didn’t make it easier for teams to take a chance on him? Same thing that aj Johnson benefited from this year he averaged 3 points and got drafted 1st round to a team that should be drafting win now guys. Stop it. Just accept the outrage is 70% based off of pure hatred and fake outrage.
Im soooo glad you made this video!!
A bunch of ppl whose kids benefit from nepotism supporting nepotism shouldn’t be shocking.
LeNick Wright is really earning his brownie points with Klutch Sports 🤦🏾♂️
Or even the judges/ government officials that have been going viral for being incredibly incompetent. Nepotism has never been as blatantly discussed or discouraged as it currently is.
Great video bro you hit every point 💯
I feel like every year jason williams eye left gets lazier
U were right !!!! Im hiring my son when he’s of age too. He gone be up there too but he gone know a lot and surprise people watch 😏
You probably said Tom Brady was sub par at Michigan and Combine so I can’t go with projection just “WITNESS GREATNESS”
Great video bro
Bronnie having the coi leray experience. God forbid you mention nepotism carrying them or people will freak tf out.
It's history ppl let it go. It's LeBrons son. That's why the media reported on it. Ppl didn't even know who the 1st pick was. And nepotism wasn't a trending word until LeBron son was drafted. We never heard that word in the media before 😂 although it's happened for centuries!
why is bronny james in the nba but mac mcclung isnt?
cus imo mac mcclung is better, the same height and is even more athletic then bronny
so this must be some bull shit
Bronny James for rookie of the year too
As a business owner, albeit small business owner, I’ve *never* seen equal candidates. This is after hundreds of interviews and almost a 1000 applications. There’s *ALWAYS* something that is more needed that gives someone the edge.
Not often you can 100% agree with someone, but this was one of those times.
Bro this is actually insane.. what is going on with the world, really?!
LOW had me crying the whole vid 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
i didnt know the entire internet talked abt the lakers owners just being kids of jerry buss like their talking abt bronny rn? i mustve missed the entirety of NBA social media talking abt that for the last decade lmao. missed on this one LOW wtf
dude on my facebook i got called a hater for saying nepotism is BAD
If Bronny James ends up having the same production as the top 10 picks we gotta start a dialogue cuz the amount of milking his existence did on the last week 😂😂😂
You'd think Raymone just entered the draft and we're in '03
Why am I not surprised to see all the defense for nepotism all of a sudden?
We talk about Bronny because he’s more of a name than any of the other players in the draft. Simple as that, You can’t say one day that the draft was all time bad this year then complain that Bronny is getting attention over them. It makes no sense.
All bronny had to do to be a Laker was being a LeNut 😂 wild times in the nba
Thank you Low. This video is def by far one of my favorites that you’ve put together. You articulated your points well & exposed the ridiculous hypocrisy & illogical bullshit going on with this pick.
Amazing how 2k24 myplayer somehow has a similar narrative to lebron and bronny. It’s almost like this was planned all along…
As always, lo spittin
Wow I agreed with everything you said in this vid 😮💨 Thank you for being non biased 👀
