Is lightweight good as the first stethoscope for a medical student (studying to become a doctor) ?

It is a good beginner stethoscope but you will likely want something with better sound quality later, especially if you end up specializing in critical care later

I can't wait to buy this! I will be in nursing school in 2018 and I asked my parents to buy me a littman stethoscope for my birthday!! Which is this month.
