Cameraman putting people on blast is wild
People forget that if you don't have a great cameraman or camerawoman, the reactions you are going for will not work in tv land/Internet land.. You must have great cameramen who can enhance the experience for people on the other side of the screen.. Like this video proves..
Back then fans doesn't care dude, good times
Those poor people 😢
@teemimika7105 actually they did caz they didn't know it was acting 🙄 😒
That was standard back in those days.
One of the most underutilized heel wrestlers of his time. Ravishing Rick Rude!
Yes sir 👏 ❤❤
He really was brilliant at what he did. Rick could wind up the crowd like a $2 watch and I loved it! As great as Rick rude was in the ring I often felt he didn't get the recognition he justly deserved.
Yeah looking back on it now. I mean I was too young to really understand the whole idea behind ravishing Rick rude I was. You know only a kid but looking back on it now you know as a 42-year-old man. It was fucking genius if you really think about it. Yeah he was one of the better heels
Rick Rude was one of The Illest Villains in his day! If it wasn't for that injury with Sting he'd had the longevity to go down as one of the best heels!!😎👍
Full-On heck yeah. 😊
Rick Rude insulted well over 100 places in America some in Canada and never once used profanity that’s class 👍
Fuck shit piss
Eh, he cussed when he was in ECW.
Um, ECW... Everyone and their mother used profanity in the original ECW.. People who don't normally cuss let themselves loose in ECW.. Mick Foley barely used profanity in WCW or WWF/E, and that's including the Attitude Era of WWE.. But when he got to ECW, he cussed like a drunken man pissed at life..
wut? 😂 who fkn cares?? lmfao
Funny definition of class you have there, but okay.
Seriously, he did keep the language PG ... I will give him that. The gestures, the gyrating ... not so much.
Apparently he was a family man and a genuine guy. He played the role of a heel to perfection. Extremely underrated.
I came here to actually say that. My pops met him in the 80s on a bar and they had a nice chat
Wherever Rick went the divorce rate skyrocketed
Ironically, Rick would put a Band-Aid over his wedding ring when in character because he didn't want to take it off out of respect for his wife.
Damn, I miss him. He should've been WWF World Champion at least once.
Rick Rude Got Screwed by Vince McMahon.
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
@@davidwesley2525 Absolutely
If i not wrong Vince wanted Rick to use steroid so he got more muscular which kinda dumb since he already in fantastic shape. After that Rude left WWF for WCW
@@teemimika7105That’s such bullshit he’s obviously on a ton of juice it must have been a cocaine or drinking related case because these guys are all on test and drink/snort coke
he was the best. 😄 as soon as he said his line the whole crowd starts to boo 😂
Rick Rude was so underrated
Why do you like people who hate you?
Very!!
The only man to appear on RAW and Nitro on the same day at the same time.
And ECW
..and TNA
Well yeah but not for real but it was cool they both showed the same time to make it cool of him appearing it's like he appear on raw and then hurry went home shave and appear on nitro
One of the best heels of that era.
In all eras.
@TheJcperez1 debatable
“Pennsylvania pissants” that due looks like Peter Griffin😂
Ayahhaha😅
Pennsylvania pissants! I never heard that one lol and I'm from PA😂😂
"Beef eater Boston Boys" is hilarious 😅
Rick Rude is an ICON of wrestling in my opinion. RIP.
One of the legit strongest, toughest, most charismatic wrestlers to ever grace us. I remember a story Bruce Prichard told when Rude almost broke his hand with a handshake.
Rick Rude was absolutely a legit bad ass. He not only was a champion arm wrestler including winning the tournament in Vegas that the Stalone movie Over The Top was based on but he was known as one of the toughest bouncer of all time at Grandma Bees in Minneapolis that also had both the Road Warriors, Barry Darsow from Demolition, and John Nord who was The Berserker all as bouncers at that out of control biker bar. there is video footage from Hawk of THE road Warriors talking about Rick Rude fighting 5 and 6 bikers at a time and winning the fight. I think he was one of the greatest heels of all time between his persona, mic skills, physique, and actual wrestling ability.
That last umm person mimicking rude hahahaha😅😅
Rude with the faces of his appointment on his tights...brilliant 😅
I always thought it was just him
Man, how many times did I get in trouble in elementary school for doing the rick rude at the pencil sharpener.
Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I would have gotten in soooo much trouble if it had been me because I would have had to say something about all the fat, out of shape Teacher's Lounge Lizards 😅😅😅😅
That is GOLD right there! @@Edward-bd8iy
Rick Rude is the main reason which made Ultimate Warrior so over with the fans, also he brought out the best in him too. His matches with Warrior are so intense & iconic. ❤
The Pennsylvania pissant was a violation
Very disrespectful. A suspension is order
Lol soft much
I'm from Pennsylvania. I don't know what city he was in at the moment, but he could have been RIGHT LOL
😅😅😅😅
Im writing to jack Tunney
Man I miss wrestling of my childhood!
"Beefeater Boston Boys"
Rofl 🤣 😂 🤣
Man was a Legend in his own era. Those insults to those people were brutal 🤣🤣🤣
There will never be another Rick Rude, one of a kind guy
One of the greatest heels of all time. What a talent..
Now I see where Val Venus came from😅
Or Bobby Roode
Do not ever disrespect Rick Rude by comparing him to Val Venus....
@@GenericProtagonist118 it's pretty obvious where the inspiration came from bro.
Rude was outrageous! He was one of the best heels ever.
I might be wrong on this one but I think Rick has never been a baby face
He was very early in his career. 82-84 he wrestled as Rick Rood a baby faced jobber.
He was a face in ECW 1996 as well
Rick was way more talented in both the ring and promos than management would give him credit for. Always relegated to a B tier wrestler, but he could have been much more.
Well.. Hulk Hogan held the Main Event hostage for years, and Rick Rude was a victim of that..
I would not see he had B tier status as he was Intercontinental Champion and actually beat Ultimate Warrior in WWF in a match not once but twice...Once in a house show on Dec 28, 1987 and once at WrestleMania 5. Which makes Rude the only wrestler to beat Warrior twice with at least one win coming on a pay per view. After Warrior beat Honky Tonk man for the IC title Honky won several rematches at house shows by count out so the belt never changes hands and they weren't considered "clean wins".
I remember watching as a little kid Funniest crowd insults ever
Imagine the insane training regimen to consistently have that body throughout the year
Amongst other things
@@chrischar9428 It was the "other things" that contributed to the heart attack that killed him, unfortunately. That HGH is not good stuff.
@@actionsub or GHB
@@chrischar9428 That would be a possibility too!
@@actionsubfrom what I recall he overdosed on some kind of medication leading to a heart attack
“The Ravishing One” RIP 🪦!
His feud with the snake was one of the best in WWF history
This was always one of the best parts of every broadcast. As a kid I hated it but also still kinda found it totally priceless lol.
Syracuse sweathogs😂😂😂 No one insulted the majority of the male gender more than the man with the $1million body himself, the late Ravishing Rick Rude. R.I.P. 😇
Rest in paradise uncle Rick you were a legendary wrestler allways will be one of my favorites gone but never forgotten ravishing rick rude and the ladies love you 😅😂
Underrated heel, underrated body guy. Dude's v taper and conditioning was ridiculous
Another iconic heel that knew how to get massive heat
Absolute legend. Looked great. One of the best heels and bodies ever in the business. 😅
A great heel. What a talent.
So he did say "Pissants" in Pennsylvania all those years ago before The Attitude Era.
There will never be another heel like him
props to the cameramen good eye lol
Fun fact
Rick Ruud died the same day as the Columbine high school massacre
damn, with moves like that, the camera man deserves HOF
Bro was roasting whole stadiums
When I was a kid Hulk Hogan was my favorite wrestler. As got older I start to appreciate Ravishing Rick Rude . He's my favorite wrestler of all time. He's the total package.
Lex Luger was the total package lol… but rude was definitely the man, I remember his fued with sting in the early 90s was phenomenal, he was the best heel
@@joshuasavage1128Luger was boring. No personality
@@basedjj93 absolutely no disagreement there, but during his run in wcw his nickname was “the total package” hence my reply…. Rick rude was far better in every way.
@@joshuasavage1128 ahh I understand now.
@@joshuasavage1128His feud with Jake Roberts was no joke either. He put Cheryl on his tights. At one point Jake was blinded and it was Bro. Love that got a DDT. I remember Honky-tonk Man and Jimmy Hart demanding the DDT get banned.
Watching this guy back damm he was great at being a heel
That perm was a heel
Hands down, probably the best heel ever because:
1-didn’t use cheap heat like being a “foreigner” like a German, Russian or Japanese heel
2-had a perfect name Rick Rude, you knew he wasn’t a nice guy
3-perfect pre match promo custom tailored to the town he was in
4-he embodied the local bully who would steal your date and beat you up
5-he was able to back up everything he boasted.
6-before injuring his back and neck, he could bump like a machine to get heat for the babyface.
7-he was never watered down by turning face. He was a heel through and through and was totally believable as one.
Sounds like every heel rock promo
He was the real sexy boy. Shawn was just the cheap imitation.
No. Rick Rude was a sexy MAN!
😂😂😂
The Ravishing One was born with that mustache. There's no "boy" in him.
@@raggaeldestro8609Ravishing Rick Rude is Basically Tom Selleck on Juice.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
When Shawn was told that Rick Rude could be a real pill, Shawn attempted to swallow him.
💊
Rude should of been the wwf-wwe champion!
Rick Rude should have been Champion in EUROPE , AFRICA , JAPAN and CALIFORNIA TOO !
Not in hogan era
That’s what I liked about Rick rude he used to get the crow riled up and just piss people off without even using profanity, but he knew how to get to him
The best physique that steroids and coke could produce...R.I.P.
Vince wanted him too, but he didn't juice.
Maybe he used coke.. but he didn't juice
@@coppertopv365 Sorry but he admitted to juicing
@@coppertopv365naive much
@@dalinkwentk9180 Yup. The autopsy showed high amounts of human growth hormone in his system.
One of the very best to ever do it. Loved his WCW theme music too. Miss you, Ravishing One. RIP 🙏
“Pennsylvania Peter Griffins”
The Only Man That Could Beat Sting, Damn Near Every Time.... Rick Rude Was The Man....
R.I.P.... Rick....
Rick was the man! That fuckin music 😂
He was hands down my favorite wrestler!!!!
Legendary... RIP RICK RUDE😢
Syracuse Sweathogs sounds quite pleasant
I used to think he was bobby roode's dad😂
You're not alone
Next you are going to say al Perez isn't seth Rollins dad
One of the best trash talkers in WWF history 👌
I genuinely feel bad for the guy they showed when he said Pennsylvania Pissants.
Rick Rude was such a great asshole heel
Best feud of all time Rick Rude vs Jake the Snake Roberts
Him and ultimate warrior rivalry was genius & classic
Definitely, a hall of fame is incomplete without the Ravishing Rude
Rare and absolutely peak fro-mullet.
Cameraman understood the assignment
Rude was one sexy beast
Rude was one of the best. SOOOO tragic his career was cut so short. When i was a kid I'd do the ravishing rick rude in my living room all the time hahaha
Rude was so fricken' good at being a bad guy, a 'villain' in the ring.
Just a Beast on the mic and in the ring!!
And from what I've, in real life he was a great guy who truly loved his wife and kids. He always wore his wedding ring, but he put tape over it. RIP to an amazing talent!
This dude might be the best looking wrestler of all time. God damn.
Imagine doing this sort of thing in 2024, you'll be cancelled faster then Rick Rude hip thrusting.
As someone who grew up in the Buffalo area, it brings a smile to my face to hear him insult the fans in my home region. Rochester RugRats and Syracuse SweatHogs, RIP Rick you were one of the best
Rude played up his character to perfection! RIP Ravishing One.
Rest in peace, Mr. Rude.
Watched him as a kid.
He got real HEAT.
Looking back on it.
Love it 😅😅😅😅😅
I was there for the Syracuse sweat hogs one. He wasn’t lying either. lol
Being referred to as a Beefeater is actually a compliment. Very few people ever met the standard. King Henry the 7 was quite selective as to who protected him.
He was one of the best. He made me workout. Miss you dude.
The funny insults to the crowd so reminds me of the Final Boss version of The Rock. 😂
The cameraman never dies, and the cameraman has NO chill!🤣
one great villains amongst others
Rick Rude was in his own league. RIP
"Syracuse sweat hogs" Rick Rude was a legend
This guy used to crack me up. Especially with the weasel laughing in the background.
You could tell he just watched Al Bundy in Married with children, when he would speak like that
"NOMAAM today...
NOMAAM tomorrow...
NOMAAM forever!"
As someone who started watching weekly during the Attitude Era, I never realized that Val Venis' character was basically a Rick Rude spinoff....
The old guys really were so much better on the mic. They had to earn their spot all around the country every single night in so many promotions trying to get to the big leagues. They were polished.
The cameraman was the real troll
I remember he called everybody in Atlantic City, "New Jersey sweathogs.".
He was a great worker and a great heel, super on the microphone 🎤 and despite his character being the "ladies man", people who knew him the most said he was a really nice guy and a very devoted family man, who never took off his wedding ring and put tape on it and was completely in love with his wife and family!
Such classic promos on the fans used to die with laughter everytime😂
Btw that girl who stood up, that was Jake Roberts wife.
Camera work has me thinking of MJF talking video games
This man was on another level. He really annoyed me as a child. However, I really appreciated his work when I became an adult. Top 10 greatest heels of all time.
Freaking loved him the best cut body in history in wrestling
The mullet, the lip rug; I've never seen a more quintessential 80's lunk before.
