I love Shalimar. I have a few vintage bottles and the new EDT. In my opinion, it is an acquired taste. To me, it is comparable to Chanel Le Lion. They are both complex fragrances (not for newer noses). My newest Shalimar is Philtre de Parfum. It is a powdery and fresher version of Shalimar (same DNA). I think it is a great modern interpretation of the old Shalimar, and great for beginners.

Hey my friend, of course there is Mitsouko which ROJA got inspired from and made Diaghilev, then Amouage made Jubilation XXV Woman. I guess apart from the Guerlain Pour Homme line, all the new scents from their house are unisex.
