This paradoxical fragrance skates between fire and ice, flamboyant virility and discreet femininity. The luminous freshness of citrus crystals and star anise, embellished by floral notes, contrasts with the warmth of patchouli, hibiscus seeds and cocoa to offer, through this luminous woody scent, a unique moment after which everything will be different.
With L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme, the Guerlain Perfumer takes a first step towards freshness in 2004, showcasing a hot and cold olfactory contrast. The fresh top notes are inspired by an ambery aniseed drink called arak. The base notes feature the gourmand notes of the dessert by a famous pastry-maker, worked around chocolate and patchouli.

Razvan, I love L'Instant de Guerlain. I bought my bottle years ago. My bottle is the original formulation like your bottle. I wish they never reformulated this incredible fragrance. When I finish my bottle, I will either have to over pay for an older bottle or buy the new formulation, which is not as good. I always enjoy watching your fragrance videos.

Love your reviews! I have one such vintage bottle 125ml still sealed and another 75ml edp extreme (not dark rims). Great fragrance indeed - both edt and edp!
