      @@VacuumWars I do have to say your totally unbiased. I had seen that Bissel Pro Heat 2x on TV. And just felt it was "cheap" looking. But hey; I take care of my stuff. Interesting is that a friend bought an older version of the Bissil Pro Heat Pet model for $20. The hand held cleaner works but the sprayer isn't on the front. It should be an easy fix though. It has a tank on the back which automatically adds soap. It's older as it has that plastic baffle in the front where the clean water goes in the baffle and the dirty water is collected on the exterior of the same baffle. Not the best design but for $20, I don't care. Great video. Short, informative, and to the point. Thank you!

      I'm going to be honest with you Rosanna, you can't go wrong with the Bissell Pro Heat! SERIOUSLY. I have the Bissell Lift-Off Pet Pro Heat model and it's nearly in it's 6th year and it was worth every cent!! My Bissell machine has taken a BEATING!! And not just at MY house, but I've gotten paid on the side to clean carpets in other people's homes as well. It has served me well and been a true WARRIOR! It has only been this week where I've noticed it's performance starting to diminish and fade out. But still no complaints. One thing I will give you a heads up on...that the majority of these "review" videos NEVER tell you is the frequent maintenance that these machines need. They are highly prone to performance loss due to the sprayer jets getting clogged up by carpet fibers and gunk. They frequently need to be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned out for best performance results, and Bissell designs their machines PURPOSELY so that this can be done regularly because it WILL need it. There are also a couple of filters on these machines that also need frequent attention. I personally am so use to it, that it doesn't bother me in the slightest. The superb performance in the end is well worth the effort, but be prepared to keep up this regular maintenance because these Bissell machines absolutely DO require this regular maintenance and I find it very unfair that nobody ever points that out. Cheers Rosanna.

      The big green is also $400 vs the Bissell x2 proheat which is $189
      The issue with the big green machine is outdated and doesn't have a heat and multiple brushes.
      It also uses a lot more water and cleaning solution.
      In order to get the brush spinning, you have to keep spraying it.

    • @4nciite
      @4nciite Pƙed 5 lety +4

      @@elephant1992 The Big Green has a bigger stronger brush that gets deeper into the carpet and it actually uses the same amount of water as the smaller Bissell, but it sucks a lot more water and cleans way deeper. Smaller units no matter the brand just clean the surface and thats it, thats all they can do. Run over you foot with the Smaller ProX and it'll barely irritate your skin, but do the same with Big Green and it'll take a bunch of skin off!!

      I used a Big name company for years, as my entire 3 story home has wall 2 wall carpet, they only used solution for stains and the rest is steam cleaned only. I purchased the Big Green about 3 years ago and it's been great except for the fact that the solution is quite costly($60 or more for my home). Instead, I've been using very hot water and fabric softener in the Big Green for more of a steam clean while softening and refreshing, and only using spot cleaner for stains and the results have been incomparable. I luv it.

So far the only con I found was the dirty tank gets full pretty fast in “deep cleaner” mode but I can get past this due how well it cleans / sucks up the dirty water. Oh & also how EASILY it comes apart to really clean the machine. Definitely worth checking reviews when buying an item. 😊

      Mine lasted a while. It was the cleaning solution container that fell apart (leaked). It also wasn’t applying cleaning solution evenly and applied sparsely too.

    I wish these reviews included long term reliability ratings. All the cleaners I've tried are lucky to make it 18 months. Many are hard to repair or get repaired. Warranties aren't consumer friendly either.

    I went through two of the Bissell Pro Heat ‘s and both had the same problem. Paint from the inside of the heating element flakes off and clogs the spray nozzles rendering the unit useless. I switched to the Hoover and have yet to have a problem. The Hoover doesn’t heat the water, like the Bissell, but at least it works!

    I like this video n I have the Hoover n the bissell n the older Hoover n most of my clients always ask for the Hoover steam n I guess it because we treat the carpet with a spray resolve n the Hoover steam goes to work after the resolve sets in for ten minutes. Great video n the rug doctor is a beast also but I really like the bissell n the Hoover connection.

    That Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro destroyed the carpet in my den after about 30 seconds of use! It picked the fibers apart and also some of the fibers got ripped out. I spoke with a vacuum cleaner store guy and he told me that the dual rollers are too intense and have very hard bristles. He recommended a commercial Hoover that has several small circular (soft) brushes that rotate.

    There are a lot of complaints about dirty water leaking out of the Bissell Pro heat after it is turned off and moved around, I've had this problem on multiple Bissells including my Little Green Machine. One thing that wasn't pointed out in this video, that's been pointed out in other reviews, is the fact the Big Green Machine cleans much deeper, mainly due to the significant amount of weight it applies, stains will reappear much quicker with light weight cleaners. Also the Big Green Holds 1.75 gallons of water vs 1 gallon for the smaller units, in my experience it takes about 5 gallons to clean a 12 x 17 room to the point where the water comes out clean. When you take everything into account, the Big Green is a better deal!

  • @leal5049
    @leal5049 Pƙed 5 lety +3

    The Big Green is amazing af, but rental units go through so much wear, tear, and abuse that their power wears down.
    I rented one when they first came to my local store and they were truly amazing, lifting year old stains that nothing else had worked on. But now 5 years later, those same machines at my store dont work as well. Some diminished function is expected, but I think they would last much longer in a person's home since they would be used much less frequently (and roughly) than a rental unit.

  • @usadatingafricanmenculture3127

    Excellent reviews of these machines.

  • @lilbluefreak
    @lilbluefreak Pƙed 5 lety +3

    It would be REALLY nice to see a "wet test" afterwards, like once the cleaning is all finished, use a towel or something to show us how wet the carpet is after use. One of my biggest complaints of rug scrubbers is how awfully wet the carpets are afterwards. It's very frustrating esp when you have multiple ppl walking around in your home. For me, this would be a key factor in my purchase decision.
