Following the online rivalry that has been brewing between USYD and UNSW, we decided to trek it over to enemy territory to find out their opinion on us. Do they acknowledge our superiority? Or are we a pretentious Hogwarts?
Didn't think old ass buildings were nice. Thought they were just too poor to renovate. Being prime minister isn't that impressive if Julia Gillard made it. Its easier to get into usyd then unsw so clearly one is skimming the top and the other is accepting people who didn't make it. UNSW's employability speaks for itself.
Maggie Carr still education quality is too poor and assignments are very easy as compared to unsw. Studied in both the universities. Unsw is far much better than Usyd .
I think unsw's students are very rude in this video, In contrast, usyd's students are very friendly, which shows the difference between unsw and usyd, btw, unsw does not even have a Nobel Prize, and the ranking will always be below usyd🤔
USyd, if nothing else, has a strong sense of history, which is what anything serious and respectful in this life should be based on. UNSW has none of that. I've studied in both, so believe can pass a good judgement. But nothing is ever back or white.
I also eventually will do my masters in IT. If you can travel, go to Melbourne Uni (ranked #2 btw). You'll probably get a job straight away. Otherwise UTS
Your engineering major/specialisation is far more important than university choice for employment. Avoid electrical and chemical engineering. Petroleum engineering is pretty good at UNSW. I have a friend who is a mediocre graduate and has managed to find a graduate position and is on his way to make big bucks.
I don't think there are many jobs in that sector. It's very important that you speak to recent graduates of that program to get an idea of the job outcomes. The worst thing you could is enrol at university just because of your interests then only to end up unemployed. A lot of degrees have no transferable skills and have no other use if you can't find work in your chosen field. I don't know too about that program but I consider it a niche but growing field. There can be all sorts of racial discrimination in employment. I'm going to assume you are Korean and perhaps an international student? International students have trouble finding employment due to poor English skills. I made the mistake of enrolling in my area of interest in economics and finance and ended up unemployed. I consider my life completely ruined and all my years of hard work thrown out of the window and now nearing 30, I have no friends and work in unskilled job in warehouse packing items - a job that 10 year old could do. Do not make the same mistake I did. I am trying to warn younger generations to avoid making life changing choices.
bobo lee but wouldn’t finance at least open some doors? I mean I chose art school so I don’t understand why you wouldn’t be able to find anything in econ or finance? Just curious. I’m thinking of doing another degree in something that could provide me with a stable income and better future. (I won’t drop art entirely tho) I can mold my creative side with something more technical. Or I will have a technical job that supports my creative side. (I didn’t think of this much before getting into my degree). I’m working in a supermarket rn as my part time job. Similar to you :)
U Never Sleep Well VS U Sleep You Die
All USYD can claim is the nice buildings

Let's not forget UNSW has a campus in Canberra that's made up of military personnel...
USYD has more politicians UNSW has more millionaires
I went to UNSW in the 80s. I am now a success. Full stop.
Yea, cause politicians are clearly industry leaders.
@@AccuphaseMan Gough Whitlam was. You probably went to TAFE
Which uni is better in the sciences?

UNSW for engineering but for medicine I think USYD
@@Mb-eo6bg UWS for medicine
USYD's reputation these years... :)
Nice vid with good idea, we're always running for the bus hahaha. Btw, the audio needs serious work, hard to hear what people were saying at USyd.
USYD is basically TAFE
What? elaborate

Wonyoul Bae renewable engineering is basically electrical engineering with the renewable energy pathway pre picked.
This video is only good for a laugh, and I hope it was designed to be so. But this channel is categorized as "News and Politics", so...
