@@itsyusufhassan I'm too bro. Just like you.
I knew a guy who was incredibly good at football. He was abnormally strong for his size, incredibly talented, hard working and understood the game better than anyone else. He was one of the best his academy age group (of a championship team), and he still didn't make it- got kicked out at about 16- didn't get a professional contract. He was also a national tennis player as well- so he was abnormally suited to playing at a high level in sport. I've played football all my life and never seen a player around my age as good as him- and that includes a lot of good players. But he didn't make it probably because he simply lacked intelligence and subtlety I think- a seemingly minor flaw that meant he could never take his technique and playstyle and tactics to the next level- despite loads of coaching from exz professional coaches. He still plays at a good level now- he's in the first team at 18 for the semi-proffesional team sudbury. But the point is, the players that you see at that level only make it because they have an all-round ability that is void of any flaws - because they have worked and hoped tirelessly to *overcome* these flaws in their game. To go out of their comfort zone, sacrificing themselves, to make themselves a more rounded and effective player, time and time again.
What’s his name?
My dream is to play nationals for USA, I would not dedicate my whole life to it, but I'll keep practicing and playing and hope for the best.

Grew up in academy(we call it projects in Ethiopia)10-16 and, we moved to the US & I didn’t get the chance nor afford academy….honestly it destroyed me mentally….I felt like I wasted my life ….gave everything but, it just I wasn’t lucky
It breaks your heart though, not getting chosen. I was at Aston Villa, but I moved from england before getting the chance, which I think was best case scenario for me because real ballers were not getting chosen and my chances were close to zero.

@@kennyroberts7229probably sat in a dead end job realising what a massive toll really is 😂

Also remember that if u do make it pro there’s also the chance u wont ever play for a top club or mayb even in a top league. There’s more dignity playing in the 2nd division of the top 5 countries, even somewhere like the belgium pro league or the swedish league than there is in giving up simply bc the odds are so low.
That’s true, you could play at a weak league that barley anyone knows about, and then to make it to the top 5 leagues you have to work very hard and even then you could just be a sub or a bench player
@@lucashigdon4488 and thats ok as well.
