Hi! I HAD to reach out to you... you're literally living my dream..I've owned my horse for about a year and a half.. but I've barely been able to ride her.. it's soooooo hot here in FL plus I was working 6 days a week.. anyway.. we're FINALLY moving back to CA here in a few weeks where I'll get to ride ALL the time!! My passion is trail riding.. I'm going to start lessons in jumping/ dressage because it's new and different to me.. but I feel my true self(lol) when I'm on the trail.. I've NEVER gone horse camping but so desperately want to! I grew up riding right outside of Yosemite, but we'll be stationed in San Diego here in August. .. I'm rambling but..I don't know how to "hook up"with others who horse camp.. or just travel around the state trail riding.. we only have my one horse currently but eventually my husband will have one too 😁👏👏.. I guess I'm just trying to find "local" groups or "friends" that I can eventually meet up with or whatnot. Sorry just got super crazy excited and wanted to reach out, and also say thank you for the videos!!

I'm a bit late, but I was wondering if you could do a video on great horse camping places? I haven't camped just yet and would love to know some spots for camping!
When I was backpacking years ago I'd run into big pack strings in the Selway in Idaho and Bob Marshall on Montana. Horses and mules. Sometimes a single fella leading 10 or so head of stock.

Could you do a video on how you condition/ train your horse? I have a draft Percheron and i want to take her trail riding and camping like you do sometime! She has a great temperament and loves to work but she gets tired easy and starts to trip on her big hooves sometimes.

hello! i love your videos and they're SUPER helpful. I do have a question though. I want to go to a horse camp soon but I am kind of a beginner rider. My horse is experienced and I've taken care of him for awhile. I have great people at the barn to help me but what do you think about that. Is it okay too be sort of a beginner and go to a camp or should I train more and wait until I'm very experienced. Love you.
