T/A Jessup is over 30 years old, used to be called the Trucker's Inn, and back in the day it was party central. Place had a bar in the basement, all the comforts of home. There have been about a million drivers thru the facility. The fuel area at Jessup is usually backed up with trucks out in the street trying to get in. T/A has spent some bucks making it a safer place, put up fencing around the parking area, keeping the recreational reptiles to a minimum.
I remember when it was truckers inn I was there a couple of months ago and it was better 30 years ago especially when the bar was open

I actually work as a porter in a TA in Duncan SC. I can personally say that leaving soap and not restocking towels is a huge nono, and that you likely just got a lazy employee. I always try and clean the showers like I'd like my own shower to look like. Sadly we've had to start shorting the towels a bit due to drivers stealing the towels. Drivers also know how to dirty the hell out of a bathroom :')

When I go to Washington Capitals games, I take Interstate 95 to the Greenbelt metro station, and I always pass the exit this truck stop is on. I always see the TA logo on the sign that has the gas stations for that exit! I know of two more TA stations in Maryland and they're both right off 95. There's one right in downtown Baltimore and another in Elkton, about a mile from the Delaware border.

Interestingly enough, there is one TA up here in Canada in Woodstock, Ontario roughly 75 miles west of Toronto! I've never been to it but I've seen it on google maps before! I thought it was just in the USA only, but it appears there is one up here!

Ive never taken a shower at TA before. Mainly Loves and Pilot. Loves has spacious showers and Pilot not soo much but they are nice showers and they both provide towels.

@Darkphoenix007A right on....but the staff is supposed to yank all that when they clean the room. Stuff like that usually means the place was never cleaned, just made available in the truck stops system. Flip flops, your own towel & toiletries are a must unless you want to deal with foot fungus, and a towel that may or may not have been washed before it was thrown in the dryer / folded....

The shower is not bad at all! The truck stop is nice , just pretty basic. This is the style I like! That's my opinion!

Bring your own towels and shampoos/body wash. Bottled Liquid Soap is better. You can clean it off. 😊

As my request, if you go to any TA's or a Pilot, I was hoping if you can do a shower time with the full experience.

I don't think the T/A in Jessup is owned by the Corporation.. It is a Ha-GEE mart... It is a rotten place to stop let alone shower.. BTW between 8am and 2pm on Oceano Dr. right down the street from the truck stop is a guy with a hotdog cart... You must get a sausage for $2.75 great guy and great food... He has been in the same place since 1993...

The shower is nice. Although, it could be maintained better. And the service could be better since they forgot the towel and soap.
for a paying customer they should have the janitor come in and clean that shower instead of just giving towels and soap that shower could use a good soap and scrubbing

I want to be a trucker when i grow up, and i just have a question. Should i bring my own towels and soap with me to a truckstop or should i always expect it to be provided?
Do not always expect amenities to be provided at every truck stop
as an employee that cleans these showers, I always recommend you bring your own towels and amenities. The soap provided is rather small and the towels are pretty worn down being washed again and again.

Pilot does have clean showers. So does Loves. Ive showered at both and I like them. They even provide towels.

The TA in Jessup is almost as bad as the TA in Atlanta on 285 at exit 53 I believe is where its at. It has been a while since I have been through there. But they both are bad but the one in ATL if your the wrong color out at night, you might not make it back to your truck. Full of lot lizards and crack heads. I was at the TA in ATL and was asked 3 times for money by crackheads before I even got my breakfast to my table! The Jessup TA is rampant with lizards day and night.
Did I miss SOMETHING here? He complains about it being not properly cleaned AND somebody leaving their bar of soap in the shower rack, BUT he turns around and does the same thing.

Tbh, I think that was very disgusting that the shower cleaners forgot to collect that used bar of soap that the driver before you used, and also that they didn’t provide your shower amenities that you needed until requesting it.

never take a shower at the ta in lincoln i was there with my mom she is a trucker all it was was one big room with atleast 5 urinals 5 showers and 5 commodes so i wouldn't recomebnd showering there

This was one of the worst T/A s in the country..high crime, lot lizards, long fuel line waits...this is basically a fuel stop...not a truck stop...in 14 years of traveling the east coast i wouldnt think about layin over or showerin here

most ta's and petros are great places to shower but the ta in jessup is a nasty piece of crap.DIRTY EVERY WHERE!!! I stayed in the hotel there and didn't stay my second night cause there were mice running in my room at night. The worst ta i can think of...
