Thanks for putting the name on the bag onscreen while discussing. Very helpful.
For sure! That was a last minute touch haha, glad it was worth it :)
@@ScottDumas yep I agree!!! Very helpful, thank you!!
I just need one that holds my beer and my camera.
Love the Amazon Basic backpack bags. Had them for years and they hold up.
Haha yeah, I definitely predicted that would be one people liked, but wasn't able to get my hands on one unfortunately. Glad to hear it's working out though! :)
Jody Ellis sane here! Paid 40 bucks 4-5 years ago and it’s travelled the world with me!
Thank you for this great video
Thanks for watching! :)
Was searching for a good Zecti Camera Backpack review. Yours did the trick & it was nice to compare it to others in my budget. Just used your link & ordered one. Thanks!
Awesome, really appreciate that and glad it was helpful! :) Enjoy!
thanks for this video!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching!
great video thanks
Thanks for watching! :)
The TARION XH & Zecti are my favourites.
Start a drinking game. Every time you say "Bag", you take a shot of Sake.
Hahaha... I'd have passed out by now 😂
Those are definitely both solid choices!
Sounds fun! Lol! I'm in. Nice bag too :)
Great vid pal
Thanks so much!
Very helpfull!!
Glad it was helpful! :)
this is a good video, thanks
Glad you liked it! :) thanks for watching!
El Tarion XH y Zecti son mis favoritos, cada vez que las coges necesitas dar un trago siempre.
Eles são ótimos sacos! 😀
Scott Dumas that was Spanish not Portuguese
@@RodrigoAReyes95 Haha damnit, google translate ...sorry!
How do you clean the sweat off the backpacks after a long hike?
I always have wet wipes around because of my kids, and I wipe down my bags most of the time for dirt anyway (in Japan- no shoes or outside stuff in the house haha) so that usually does the trick. More rugged bags like ThinkTank have no problem being washed either. ThinkTank actually has given advice before on how best to wash their bags, on Facebook I think. So, if you message them I'm sure they'll be happy to give very specific instructions how to best do it :)
Hello very helpfull video...do you know anything abot cullmann camera bags?
Hey, thanks so much! I've actually not reviewed any from them, have you used any or recommend any yourself?
@@ScottDumas No actually I'm thinking purchasing the cullmann Malaga 550+. I see them in a lot of online stores, on Amazon UK, Amazon de however there are no reviews anywhere and I'm a little bit sceptical. It costs around 50 euros so maybe I'll buy one.
Hi, which one do think is best the Tarion HB-02 or this K&F Concept? And what about the K&F Concept KF 13.087? Thanks
I thought the Tarion HB-02 was a very nice bag and I'd probably say that's the best of those choices
@@ScottDumas thanks.
How do we put camera in a bag? Is the lens downward or upward?
I typically put it in lens down, so it's easy to grab the body and pull it out to shoot afterwards.
Respect the crocs🤟
Haha, summer lifestyle ;)
Scott Dumas sure is boss
I still really love my Peak Design everyday 20L backpack, Maybe I'd switch it to the 30L... Just wish they'd be lighter and more expandable when needed (for that they also make the 45L travel bag)
But I did like some ThinkTank bags as well though never tried them.
Yeah I love the PD as well, although ThinkTank came out with a new design that looks pretty similar in a lot of ways, possibly even better (hoping to try it out soon!) Not exactly budget but they're great bags for sure :)
@@ScottDumas Are you talking about the " Urban Access" looks interesting but I didn't like that much some things there... though it really looks good and suitable for most of my needs I guess... If you do check it, please address if it is suitable to be used not as a camera bag (if you can for example take all or some of the dividers and use it for clothes/groceries)
Yeah that's the one, and I'll definitely be sure to check out that non-camera usage part too :)
are you wearing orange croques xD nice touch to it!
Haha, they were originally red I believe ;)
Water for the ZECTI bag side compartments?!? Get an empty small whiskey bottle or similar shape. Fits that side pocket, no problem. I recommend Jim Beam, from my native state: Kentucky.
This is better for you---besides, you get the whiskey. ;-)
Put your water in glass not plastic. The only thing worse for you than plastic is styrofoam.
Another great review--very helpful. Thanks so much.
What I need more than anything else is a side bag I can customize and create small compartments to separate lenses.
I most often shoot Canon FD primes, and like to carry four or five. This means I need smaller compartments to keep them separate. So, an open bag that comes with several velcro dividers that would enable me to create the number of compartments I need would be great, and still keep the actual size of the bag itself not too big.
Yet to find that---but I haven't actually done an exhaustive search.
Hahaha- actually not a bad idea. I have a flask I've never used actually, gotta bust it out haha. Wonder if that would fit.
I'm wondering if those lenses would fit into the Smallrig bag... since it's more cubic you might be able to fit 6 in there lined up 2 by 2. The bag comes with dividers to split it into sections of 2-1-2 spaces, but if you have an extra divider from another bag lying around you could throw it in that middle section to split it up. At $40, might be worth a try! :)
@@ScottDumas That's an idea. Normally I never carry more than 5---one on the cam four in the bag. I'll check it out. Love those FD primes on the Pani S1--light and sharp and fast!
@@ScottDumas Good suggestion. Right now I have 7 bags. I hate them all, and I'd like to take 5 of them into the back yard and shoot them. The Small Rig bag looks perfect for the Canon FDs. A little bulky for side carry but manageable. I normally take only 5 Fd primes, four in the bag, one on the cam. Love those primes on the Pani S1. (Considered buying an S1 native lens, but decided against it because I don't own a fork lift and don't plan to get one).
Lots of nice features on the bag otherwise. But I agree--the jury is out on how long that fake leather lasts. My past experience tells me it won't be long----but we'll see.
A flask. Hmmm. I thought about getting one years ago. But a funnel I picked up at a garage sale for 10¢ has been sufficient for the task. If you can find a collapsible funnel for that side pouch I'd highly recommend it.
Camera bags. I love them most of the time, except when I'm hating them, which is also most of the time.
Years ago I read about a bag that had a fold-out shelf designed to make lens-changing faster and easier. Does that ring any bells? I can't remember that company's name.
Haha it is definitely a never ending and fun but frustrating search for the "perfect" bag 😅
A fold out shelf definitely sounds interesting! Never heard of that though. Always fun to see out of the box designs like that though
How many times, I wonder, has _that_ conversation happened in our household: "You bought _another_ camera bag?" I try to get my revenge by asking at some other time: "You bought _another_ pair of earrings?" But it just doesn't work...
Hahahaha... glad to hear you survived that come back ;)
Lowepro PhotoActive 300?
tnx for the video. it would've been better if you'd put the timeline in the description rather than in the actual video on 0:52
Thanks for watching! You know, I actually originally planned to put the timeline in both, but looks like I forgot. I'll try to remember and add it when I have a chance! :)
