Edgar Bainton: And I saw a new heaven

A favourite of every choir worldwide, this setting of Revelation 21 has particular resonance for St Andrew's Cathedral, as it was composed by a former acting organist of the Cathedral, Dr Edgar Bainton.
As churches are currently shut down in Sydney, (July 21) we have quickly recorded, with a very reduced and socially-distanced St Andrew's Cathedral Choir, several well-known hymns, psalms and anthems. We hope that you find them all useful in this difficult time when churches are unable to meet.

I so enjoy listening to your choristers from the youngest to the more mature, the conductor needs special mention for his ability to convey feelings so that the singing is spectacular. 🙏🏾
