Great question! I thinkkkk it carries across to FB stories too :) Link in bio doesn't exist on Facebook so you'll set that up separately in FB. But Facebook captions themselves can have links so it's less needed.

Usually you’d do this through an opt-in. This is often done by a third party program (usually your CRM) that has a landing page where they input their email address in return for something.

Nope sorry! Stories don’t have frames for us to work with. You can have multiple stories though so I would recommend adding the link to the second story :) works a charm.

I believe so. You can't do much on Instagram without a phone. You might be able to try the Meta Business Suite on desktop - but I haven't personally used it for Instagram story links to know.

I’m wanting to create an insta add from a story with a link but it won’t let me cause it’s a sticker (but I see many other advertisers that have that just like u showed). If I create the story and select a link to appear and paste it in the add creation, then it doesn’t on the ad. 😢

Are you referring to when a post asks you to comment a certain word, and when you do, you get a message with the link? :) This is called a ManyChat Funnel (manychat is a program you can automate messages based on key words). For those bigger in business and have the time and budget, this is a VERY effective tool.
@Bichisaidwhatisaid Manychat is a website platform (Google it and it'll pop up). I do believe it has a free version. Or, even for myself so far - I just do this manually. I have a keyword on my posts and if someone comments it I just MANUALLY send them a message with the details they need. Example: instagram.com/p/C2b7ruEvxtD/

If not, some people use the speed feature to slow me down a little. The lights were so frustrating, a setting mucked up on my camera - this is the only video with this issue. Hmm I haven’t heard of that happening before. You could try updating the app - the link sticker function has changed a little recently for me.

Instagram is definitely a mobile priority program so I’d say you’ll have to use mobile not PC :)

How can you use the link stick when creating on PC?
Instagram is first and formost a mobile app so it’s not optimised to create on computer. I’m not 100% sure if possible or not.
Can this only be done using a smart phone? I've not got one and I'm trying to do it on a desktop.

Keep trying pinching. That’s the only way to do it. Make sure you’re pinching right on top of the link sticker with 2 fingers moving at the sane time.

Instagram is a mobile focussed app. It’s desktop features are very limited unfortunately.
