I had a chance to drive it for a few weeks. It looks cool and the space is very good. It defrosts really fast in winter mornings, like within 2-3 minutes. Sometimes mpg is up to 40 but it’s mostly around 25-30 mpg in city areas. However, it doesn’t accelerate very fast and it won’t go above 90 mph on flat roads and 60mph when you are going up a hill. The AC feels a bit hotter than the set temperature. Overall it’s good for commuting if you don’t usually wake up late for work.
Yes, and drive at speeds that put others at risk. Guess what they make this thing that the younger generation hates but works really well I used one for forty years. It is called an alarm clock. And when it goes off just get up and drive at a sane speed to work. Try it.
Sounds like a Nissan Cube! I have one and it sounds like your description
We are seniors. We bought the Kicks mainly to drive around town and the odd long distance trip. Get it into 'sport mode' when merging onto major highway; it's all good. It has more leg and booty room than our smaller Toyota Hatch, and better visual clearance over the hood. It's just as comfortable, has good head room, fog lights, heated seats and steering wheel, for those cold Canadian winters. Also mirrors defrost, which we like. The Bose system is just fine for us, (neighborhood knows we;re coming down the street LOL) as is the info-tainment system, which is nicely tucked into the front dash, and does not stick out to impede driver vision. (SV trim) Lastly, it has better ground clearance than the Hatch, so we shouldn't get stuck in high snow come winter; it comes with a spare tire. Will report back next Spring. Good job Nissan!
I've had my 2022 Nissan kicks SV since April of 2022 I have about 15,700 mi on it and really love it the fuel economy is exceptional and I think it drives really smooth. Is also has got really good reliability scores from Edmunds car and driver . My best average so far is 49.1 MI to the gallon. In averages 36 to 42 on a daily basis.
I have a 2023 Kicks SV. I like it. No problems thus far.
This is what a compact SUV should be. No company other than Nissan seems to realize this.
I can’t imagine buying this when the completely new and much improved 2025 model is coming out shortly….
I love my 2024 SV bought it brand new
Love this car. My juke has been so fun but ready to go for it.
Basic crossovers still could look, doesn't have to have all the luxury but still looks cool.
I can't appreciate a car been filthy for a review
Nissan kicks is a good looking car
I like Nissan kicks
Budget vehicle that needs to be longer and hopefully NISSAN does a redesign in 2025.......
If they start making it too much bigger, it may not fall in that budget catergory
It needs AWD, a turbo engine and a non CVT automatic
@@original__gmebvy$$$ goes way up with those features
Yep the tail lamps looks exactly like the ford focus 👍🏿
Renault owns Nissan and I can see lots of Renault5 in this design and shape.
It’s crazy to know that this gets better MPG than the Kia Soul
The 2025 Kicks arrives soon with more power and much better styling. Wait for that one.
Hey Ben, I also did a 2023 Nissan Kicks SV on my channel.
Is this an SUV? Also does it have Apple Car Play?
Does it have a spare? Please include that info into your reviews. To many people, that is very important.
Yes, it does. I own a Kicks.
Infotainmnt built into dash is nice. Add some manumatic shifting.
I was hoping he would actually kick the car…
Lol
No, you were hoping for Nissan Kicks him 😂
@@RamsBereit what do you even mean?
@1996ChevroletImpalaSS The car, Nissan "Kicks" It's just silly play with the words
@@RamsBereit you make no sense
Inb4: “ohh I just got one it’s pretty good, not everyone needs a nice car”
I haven’t watched the review yet im sure Ben is fantastic but these types of cars are a ripoff. You can’t have a 200 hp, fwd suv. That’s good for little cars. Not compact “suvs” they are too heavy for low hp and front wheel drive
The Kicks is like 2600-2700 pounds. Relatively speaking, it's a pretty light vehicle. In all actuality, it's just a compact hatchback that's been lifted with those awful unpainted fenders to make it look like it's an SUV.
@@ATG3192hmm kinda light. I’m not against crossovers but I think the “lifted fat long sedan” style is the real deal. Not this shape
@@ATG3192it’s just a lifted versa , same powertrain and interior as a versa
Does it come in AWD? It's a cute car for one person driving around town.
No. Kicks won’t have AWD until 2025
@@HappyBoxer-nb1mbthat’s the one to wait for
My mother has a Nissan Altima car
Why have a back seat? If people actually sit back there, with that added weight, it will probably take a very long time to get to 60 mph with those horrendous HP TQ numbers.
It is a nice looking car. Nissan and CVT is a no for me.
Needs 5sp or 6sp manual..Versa still offers manual
Qashqai over kicks any day
Rip qashqai's😢
I just really dislike the design of nissans. I just find them unpleasant to look at, the shapes are really unattractive and have an out dated appearance
That is how I feel about Mazda's Their hood looks way to long and it throws the whole vehicle out of proportion.
CVT transmission…garbage
Hi please can you explain ? I wana buy one but i saw your comment ??
@@gzhrk do your homework on CVT transmissions which were produced to mimic the shifts of a traditional transmissions.. if you think that setup will suit your needs then you should buy the car.
