Having hard time understanding what Crytek was thinking with adding a scoped Dolch, i mean they obviously always felt this weapon was too strong at medium ranges so they added this bizarre recoil but now they add a scoped version with basically no recoil?

does hitreg feel off for anyone else after this patch? Either that or the servers? Maybe I just suddenly became worse overnight, but I feel like I'm seeing "ghost bullets" every game now, some weapons like the oberez feel worse than others.
Wdym "off"? regen shot got nerfed. And I believe obrez and short springfield got their sway reduced.
whenever the servers are high pop so every event for the first couple of weeks the hit reg can be a bit iffy sometimes I have clips of bullets going through people and hitting the wall behind them if u are frustrated by the hitreg just wait a couple of weeks or try to play when the player numbers are down a bit
@@karadrazbliss9865 I mean shots that should have been a perfect hit like center mass within compound with a 400 m/s plus gun like centennial or oberez as mention, just completely failing to hit the target.
@@mand0rkah, alright. Had this a handful of times where I was really confused as to why there was no trade. Hopefully this type of issue will be leviated once the engine and server Upgrade next year isnimplemented.

Guys, I may be a bit confused here... why does that shorty have a 10 round magazine? The shorty has 6 rounds to my knowledge...
Appearntly, it only gets that if you use High Velcoity rounds, it evens says that when you hover over the ammo in the loadout screen. I doubt its intentional, but we will see.
@@ReaverWall Can't be intentional. HV assumes that there is more powder and/or a lighter bullet. Maybe you could argue the bullet is smaller but it would have to be WAY smaller for a 6 round to fit 10 rounds. Plus if HV is more powder as per the description, then the case should actually be larger (either sacrificing mag capacity or bullet size) to add more powder.

The event is the most fun gameplay wise we've had in a long time. The skins are abysmally bad but that's whatever
I don't even care if this was a compilation made by someone playing 14 hours a day since the launch cherry picking the most impressive moments, these were _dirty_ .
Edit: Not that I'm saying that you're doing these things, it's just the case even if you were, it's still impressive. I realized that my phrasing was poor, just wanted to clarify.

cant wait for them to perma add this new fog 2.0 to the regular map lineup like the did with rain. so fun, honestly they should just delete the daytime maps, the devs clearly dont want us playing on them, seeing anything, or hearing any important audio

I don't really like the event, the fogstorm makes it impossible to sometimes see people and we are running after alltars again. I like the new guns, but i'm doing the same thing again.
the ambient music is too loud. feels like more of a gimmick than legit

@@Mr_Fancypants i think its more of a sound thing than a visual thing for me. Rain is loud naturally, fog is not.
I somehow like it a lot. I just do the challenges and loot hunters. Farming altars isn't necessary.
And you can always just play normal maps instead of wildcard if the thick fog gets annoying.

the game's audio is very good to the point you can literally just play it blind and pin point enemies to the upmost accurate degree. he's not cheating, nor did the others who shoot and kill through walls. they just decide to use headphones and crank their volumes so they can use their ears to give them an advantage.
It's called "using your ears".
I often stare at walls and "trace" through walls (not exactly 1:1) because audio. If you look directly at sound, you can hear where people are easily.
What exactly is fun about this event in particular? Every event brings new weapons and some kind of wildcard(and this wildcard is trash because zero vision and sound just like rain)
Idk, hunt community rly don't have respect to themselves. You can give them the same event for over a year and same weapons with diff stats and they will be happy, kinda sad. Also don't forget to buy a battle pass xD
The sound is absolutely nothing like rain and visibility isn't that bad since its daytime

@sparta5050 emphasis on "free" because the weapons(other than skins) and new hunter don't require the battlepass at all. Hunt players will bitch at a free beer party I swear 😂.
The biggest takeways for me are honestly the recruitment and trait reworks. Those by themselves make it a great update for me

Are we just gonna ignore the katana new trait, cool ass variants, and custom ammo. Changes to guns and buffs, drilling hancannon being able to finally ammo pool flechette and penny shot?
@@nou8830 I am certainly going to ignore the latest machete reskin custom ammo and weapon modifications are the laziest cheapest form of content possible and at this point do more harm than good.
they just keep adding weapon variants that they had in storage that don't fit in the game balance-wise and copy-pasting the same event for the past year oh and lets not forget that they only give cheaters 2 week bans hunt is a joke now im not playing the game anymore till they move out of Germany because german laws say you can't perm ban someone unless you can prove they were cheating in court hunt is a great game being held back by the stupidity of crytech
@helicopterpilot4810 machete reskin lmao, the heavy is bomb Lance range, draw attack is screen wide horizontal that can one shot from the waist. And it's 2 slot, the fact that you can't see it as a game changer, especially when the draw slice can be charged completely silently without silent killer and doesn't have a draw animation if it's sheathed meaning that you can quick swap to it faster than any melee in the game is crazy for emergencies and split second decisions.
Lemat got buffed with both speed and buckshot, it feels like a whole new weapon tree.
Drilling handcannon is the best ammo pool for both medium ammo so you will see it. Now, since it's two slot it means that every drilling you hear doesn't have to be full sized, which means your other weapon could be literally anything. It's such a well designed all rounder since it can perform at any medium to short range engagement that is balanced with the long reloads and clunky by design ammo swapping.
New trueshot is about as busted as a gun can be without being long ammo. Most accurate fanning, decent fire rate on that fanning, fast bullet speed which can go faster with hv, damage. Only held back by its ads fire rate and the fact that it isn't long ammo.
The only good point you had is that not everything needs custom ammo, at the same time I think for medium and compact ammo to compete with long ammo it needs gimmicks like custom ammo that long ammo underperforms with imo by design.
Dolch claw means extra tool slot, dolch deadeye is a pocket scoped semi auto. You might not see it a lot, but it has its niche as the only scoped 1 slot weapon.
Lemat marksman is the only one where I don't see too much of a point in, but once I get my hands on it and play with it, that might change who knows.
That's ignoring all the work the design team has put into the new skins, the new wild card, which is spooky as shit and makes me jumpy since you hear footsteps with each black splotch.
To say nothing has changed is fucking disingenuous to what's been brought to us.
