Sadly I doubt they will keep the rain just like they did with the fire, but I think they will at least keep rotjaw as a permanent boss. Really wish they would keep all wildcard bounties permanently so you can have fire or rain regardless of if an event is going on and maybe reduce or remove them during an event that’s showcasing a new wildcard

Drilling is my new favorite gun and I pair it with the hand crossbow with poison and fire darts. I bring 2 ammo boxes sure but man is it fun.

You should try standard ammo for the Carbine. It's pretty much back to pre-nerf recoil now, and quite noticeably smoother than HV bullets again

Knowing that hornet is out there in pubs, stomping on people, makes me scared to play Hunt
This makes me want a over under shotgun. Similar to the rival, and Romero. Basically a long shotgun with 2 barrels XD that being said, there are a lot of shotguns in hunt already....
Most the shotguns are too brainless and busted. It's insane how all the shotguns beside Romero are basically one shot kill spam weapons that cycle faster than compacts.

@@Zarven1 You can 2 tap at 50m with slugs and shoot them faster than most compacts can. There is a reason compacts/medium ammo are not great pick options. They don't actually have a strong range because it's way easier to maintain close or long ranger than to constantly force confrontations at an in-between range. I think that both long ammo and shotgun should have a very big downside for reload speed, cycling time and accuracy while moving/jumping given how insanely strong they are.
I get bored waiting for people to leave the boss compound. I don't particularly find it fun sitting 100+m out with long ammo waiting for the bounty to leave or sitting inside the lair waiting for a free kill. Compounds have only a few entrances and there are no quiet ways to enter. It's basically become a " do not enter compounds" if you don't have a shotgun game.
@@ramsaybolton9151 Just because you don't find it fun to play long ammo to it's strength doesn't mean it's weak, at that point you're just whining. You're also exaggerating quite a bit, at least if you ignore nitro shredder. The weapon that was actually a problem in high mmr was avto, and it's been addressed a decent amount now.
@@Zarven1 Avto wasn't a problem for people that play the game with the true meta strat of long ammo spitzer. They never get into ranges the avto can effectively spray them down. The avtos biggest strength was it's absolute insane ability to spam pen compounds before the ammo nerf.
The reality is it's very stale playing to the two META strats this game has. Sit in compounds with slugs or sit outside them with long ammo. Both are very easy kill tools. Back when you had to snipe with a 533 m/s weapon it was way harder and more skillful. Sniping with an 870 m/s gun that pens 3 walls as you de render bushes, trees and buildings isn't. Neither is not moving and listening for someone trying to enter the compound so you can ez mode kill them as they try and enter one of the three entrances to a compound.
If there weren't people like me playing that actually moved and tried to engage enemies, most people would get bored and stop playing. Matches where no one moves ( Mexican standoff) because they don't want to disadvantage themself are super lame. The game would be a lot better with more stat balance than JUST flat balance. max dmg + fall off is lame. Different weapons should have different steadiness, ADS time, more variation of velocity, handling while moving etc. Most of the meta weapons are that way because they are strong and easy to use. Long ammo dominates long AND medium range. Shotguns dominate close range and you can slap on long ammo pistols to help remove the weakness of your loadout.

The cut here 8:36 was in the middle of the reload. Maybe try to set it when he puts the round in the chamber. Like when he pushed it in. I think that would look cooler.
The new weapons are good because they are so flexibl you have 3 ammo Typs what is pretty strong.

Had an 11 kill game with drilling. Its verry good and out shines a lot of weapons. Just wish its price wasnt 510. I have a feeling it will be reduced.
I think part of the logic is that it's basically two guns in one so you're paying for convenience. but in a world where self loading rifles don't exist yet I find the immediate follow up shot to be the most useful part

It's an ingame settings somewhere in the options, I have it enabled too. Look around, it shouldn't be too difficult to find, I'd give you specifics but I can't login right now.

I would say 400 hunt doller or 325 but no intens bleed.
alot of people seem to agree around 300 - 400 is ideal price for a medium + shotgun
heck lemat carbine is compact + shotgun and sitting at 130$ and doing great for what it does.
drilling seem to have long ass reload for 2 shot kill weapons. up against 1 v 2, u will mostly likely fire 2 shots to kill 1 while switching secondary for the 2nd hunter.
Medium ammo drop off though it's a common ammo type with great returns from ammo boxes, fairly long reload with a decent buckshot shotgun but it's long barrel so slugs one tap at 15 metres. It's got FMJ and DumDum so that's pretty great especially with the changes to rifle DumDum dealing intense bleed but the velocity drops massively in return oh and it fires extremely fast with manageable recoil though it produces a good amount of black smoke to block your vision sometimes. It's a balanced weapon for sure but overall feels rather expensive especially with it reaching long ammo weapon prices which is a lil wild
I would pay 400-450$ but doesn’t matter that much to a lot of people who stopped prestiging plus there is lots of ways to farm cash anyways
it is justified in my opinion, long and close range in one weapon, heavy bleed (in event everybody has lvl50 chars so they all have bleed traid) etc. + remenber that most longrange weapons dont have the firespeed to twotap an enemy in most situations
the only thing that makes people believe its not, is that bleed is at the same speed as fmj and they wonder why the dont hit shit. i wonder if that is a bug, because traditionally the bleed is like 30-50 speed less than normal and fmj is like 150 or more less speed

Also haven't said before on previous Drilling vids but the amount of players dying to bleed out is insane.

I noticed in this vid Hornet never have his regen shot, that make him used medkit for 25 healths a lot of time
Is it because he tooks Conduit and get unlucky or he doesn't like regen shot
Conduit doesnt give regen only stamina, and he's said he likes eegen, but as a solo he tends to get more value out of 2x vit shots
Regen really only works when you play around it. Its truly sometimes too slow and not good enough in compound. But it really comes down to preference, if youre a fairly aggressive player i always recommend 2 vit faster plus full heal and can make a play. And if youre more patient and usually tend to hold angles instead of pushing you should have 1 vit and 1 regen

A lot of things. New event, some new items and weapons (drilling, uppermat, portable toolbox/medkit), can now respec healthbars for free and reshuffle hunters for 100 hunt dollars instead of BBs. Nagant officer carbine recoil got buffed so it feels much better to use now. Can now remove traits for free but at the cost of getting back one less trait point. This along with a bunch of other stuff I can't remember off the top of my head.
With Death Cheat currently bugged, not losing your Hunter has never felt better when it comes to Hunt Showdown, to the point that I am beginning to feel like once it gets fixed, it will feel like something from the game is actually missing!
I just wish the fucking gun wasn’t 500. It’s good, but not that good. Less fun when you spend that much. Especially when you add the dum dum.

Doing the weekly quests gives you 7 levels in total, in 3 weeks of NO playing after you get them done and JUST including that EP, you should have all the new weapons. But thats not the case bc you are usually gonna keep playing and avg about 40-80 points you should get about 10 Battlepass levels a week, which is good

I think its in a good place, its a quick firing long ammo and the shotgun is fairly solid to boot. Plus really good ammos. The 2 slot is a downside but they dont want another uppercut situation where its what everyone uses... we have enough of the Uppercunt being used as is

@@TheJAZC15 it does more dmg sure, but faster rof, LOTA of ammo, shotgun with slugs. Its not better than the uppercut in dmg but really it does much more than long ammo

the weapons are great, but the players during this event are miserable. nothing but rats. every time I kill a team, there's another one hiding in a bush or not going for the boss and camping exits, it's so boring.
I've noticed this event has brought some cheaters along with it as well. Not sure if anyone else has noticed.
im going to just say that, you probably not have seen "some" cheaters maybe one or so if at all... im on constant 5-6 star and in 2k hours i have seen 4 cheaters in a total of 2 teams. at least those that are actually be able to detect as those by just looking at the playstyle.
they are more likely to abuse derender or ping, or in most cases just better (remember all the sweats come back for the event as well), or lucky (yes even a 0.9kd can land 2 headshots in a row from time to time or hit you with a wallbang)
derender and shit is still an exploit, but atm you cant do anything about it (its litterary just set the settings to low) and you have to play around that.
i have not seen anything that is even close to a cheater the whole event
@@the1sH0 I know what cheaters are, these guys we ran into 2 games in a row and each time before we could even be seen they were shooting at us. Instantly knew where we were and even after we died we spectated and did the same thing to the rest of the lobby. There are more cheaters than you know not blatant cheaters like the guys I ran in to, but there are cheaters. I consider reshade cheating as well. Anything that gives you an advantage over other players is cheating.

Why do I feel like Asian 3-4 mmrs are much more skillfull than EU 5 stars?
I never seen Asian hunters stand stationary like this and take bullets like braindead AIs.
Also I am not talking about this video in particular. Every gameplay video I see from EU servers seems to have these braindead 5 stars.

they are also moving towards the policy if you don't put money in you don't get anything not like before where you got paid for playing now you can do the weekliy in a day and log out more you don't get the 100exp for a cartridge throw in mr cheerys chamber pot and go off

also weekly challanges give SOOOO mutch so you dont even have to play that mutch.
like i clocked in about 20h in the event and presitged three times and only have lvl15, playing more acutally is hurting you here because timeinvestment doesnt scale well.
shure you can skip but why bother? shit is free (at least if you saved up a few bloodbounds befor the event) and i have seen so few of the guns so far that i doubt a lot of people actually used bloodbound (and yes i say used bloodbounds because i could have bought to max with just the shit i got by playing befor the event - massive waist so i didnt)

also you allways hit if you hit on client that is the awefull thing about the netcode, so you not hitting people has nothing to do with ping, them hitting you raound a corner or killing you even tho they are allready in the death animation (if you are closer than 50m) THAT has something to do with ping
The challenges give you 7 FREE levels every week, thats fairly generous compared to what some games have. And level 12 in a week is really good all things considered, theres only 50 tiers and the event goes on for 60 days.
@@the1sH0 yeah shure you in many points right but just take the normal playtime of 2 hours a day than you have the weekly done and everyday the 150 for bounding
but my normal round are beween 30 and 70 points
and i have a 24 ping too the server so i dont know it just frustrating the number of new hunter compare too the fix of bugs
