I used to listen to listen to music but alhamdullillah, I have stopped. I had trouble focusing on my prayers because of music. You know when you have a song stuck in your head, that'd happen to me during salah. Here I am trying to pray towards Allah, but there's this stupid song playing in the back of my head. It was very distracting and I'd constantly forget which rakah I was up to. Alhamdullillah, ive given up on music and all Muslims should do the same.

+321What Is What do quran advice us??? Stay away.. avoid...dont do it.. refrain.. now, ur talking about how u personaly deal with challenges like remembering rakah during salah. u should say Al hamdu lillah because Allah swt made it easy for u. Now, there is a reason why music was told to avoid it bec it has many effects. Some people are affected easily, and some dont. I can avoid avoid alcohol easily cuz i dont even like the smell of it so its easy for me to avoid it. But there are people who cannot live without alcohol so that is their jihad.. Like Music, this bro here and i will include myself too that we used to be deluded with the world of music. I used to be a dancer (jahiliya days) and Zumba instructor so music is the very essence cuz i cant dance without music. Did it affect me? YES! and i dont want to go to details how it did but it was totally out of what a mu'mineen should live... It wasnt easy at first avoiding music but Al hamdu lillah i despise it. I turned my back from it and it made it easy for me to listen to Quran, or read quran or study it... Doesnt mean it works for u it will be easy for others. But what is important is a BELIEVER will struggle and overcome it to please Allah azza wa jal.

Through this the true Islam will be seen. A video explaining what was on your heart and mind about music would have been sufficiant and the brother may have viewed it and seen things differently. ''Im sorry if I was a non muslim in 2016 watching this video I would be running away from Islam'' not necessarrily , i pulled this comment from from a non muslim in the comments section on the video khaled made , '' Hello Mr. Kaled, as someone who is learning about Islam and trying to
become a Muslim, I found this video to be very confusing to see coming
from an Islam-oriented channel. Now I'm not going to go on here and say
music is haram and all that, because I'm not an authority in Islam in
ANY way. But I do know that Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) said that there would
be many divisions and denominations of Islam to appear, and that only
the ones who hold true to the true and original path from God are the
ones who will prosper. And Sufi-ism is indeed a division/denomination of
Islam is it not? So why promote it? Anyone can believe what they want,
thats fine. But I think a Muslim channel as yours shouldn't be promoting
different divisions in Islam, especially because Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)
certainly didn't promote them. Just my thoughts on the matter. I like
      your channel a lot :)

Arfan Ayub ok, so u said he is exposing someone. If so, what has khaled done by posting it on youtube HIMSELF? .. Islam is faar from a game, to state things as non muslims running away. People are following youtubers so much so, that they are forgetting islam from the books and the proper islamic theologists who studied for 6/7 + years. All i can say is this, never get confused between OPINION & TEACHINGS of islam. Brother khaled shares his opinions which is fine, but to guide someone, is only by الله and what الله revealed to us through our prophet (peace & blessings upon him) .. Wasalam bro , peace & love always.

My Salaah became more focused and prior to giving up music I never would have imagined how my Imaan would increase, Subhan Allah! In this life in the Dunya we can never praise Allah swt enough for his mercy and blessings. Music is the biggest distraction and waste of time, and as you said many a scholar will state this as it is haram, no two ways about it. Time is better spent in prayer or Quran recitation et al. Yes we as a nation should be like a human body when one part hurts it should affect everywhere but if our hand is bleeding we don’t stop seeing or stop breathing, those are part of being human similarly we cannot tolerate shirk and haram because of the atrocities committed against Muslims.

I was surprised because he didn't use music, supposedly, in his videos. When I saw the video and saw the shirk that he was dancing to, I was startled. I'm sure he didn't understand what was being said but I was still startled by him dancing to the music. It's a good thing you made this video for those people who might watch Khalid's videos and who maybe listen to these qawalis without knowing what is being said.

Music is clearly NO. No debate. Those who submit fully will benefit in full - this is as equal sin as alcohol!
Here is ONE very clear verse of the Quran which forbid the Muslims from indulging into music.
"So abstain from the pollution of the idols and abstain from false vain words." (22:30).
The Arabic word "Zoor" has several meanings which include falsehood and the musical expressions. According to Imam Ja’far As-Sadiq (a.s.) "pollution of the idols" means Chess and "Vain words" means music.
See how ‘Music’ has been joined in this Ayat with the pollution of idols", only then you can appreciate the seriousness of the sin of Music.

Asalamualaikam, JazakAllah Kheir for making this video highlighting the issues.
I personally watch Khalids content and agree that he's a great brother masha'Allah with great iklaaq (manners) and character. I feel like there is confusion around his channel and this causes controversy. Yes he is a Muslim and a youtuber. He puts out Dawah content and his main Audience is Muslims. He also makes a number of challenge videos and I think this reaction video was in that part of the channel. He doesn't understand the languages which were being sang in and to him it had no meaning as it will to anyone listening to isn't Pakistani.
I did comment under that particular video explaining what was being said etc and my stance on it. It's like a Pakistani person reacting to polish music. We don't understand it so can't take responsibility for what's being said. However I agree that if you have a public platform and following then it's your job to do your research.
We can't accuse him of Shirk as he didn't know what they were saying. The bit about him listening to music however or promoting it is very clear. I feel that our human nature makes us do something more if we are backed into a corner or told not to do it. It shouldn't be that way but Shaitan tells us this stuff daily. I pray that we can support brother Khaled through the decision to remove it and continue to support him as well as other Muslim youtubers towards steadfastness. May Allah SWT bless you all

He may never have intended to cause disrespect to anyone, especially on the grounds of Islam. Explain yourself to no one other than him and give him an excuse for where he went wrong rather than publicise his faults. If he is clean at heart which you said was apparent in his character he will respectfully accept your advice and naturally ponder on your words. You may have also intended correctly, but I do believe your method of clarification was wrong. Pull the music out for being wrong by all means but don't slash a brother on social sites like this.

I think I found it as like cruel irony I think about that when I've had brothers who I give the greetings to and they don't give the greetings back always wondered what that deed would look like on judgment day and I think it's the same for when you backbite your brothers and if I remember correctly the the holy book tells us that backbite and is just as bad as eating the flesh of your brother and a lot of these conversations could have been in private and a lot of the people who make these videos act like they're being a saint and they say they try their best to not make the video but brother you should have never made the video because it put shame on the Uma to show such a discord when we're supposed to be the path of peace. They started off their channel by doing Muslim skits and having their channel be very Muslim oriented, but as soon as they started to get more subscribers and views they also started to change. This is very common, not everyone can handle the CZcams fame and the amount of followers you have. They will start to do whatever the people say to do rather than looking into Islam and seeing if it's even permissible or not. That's why if you are deciding to start your own CZcams channel, always renew your intentions.

(i.e financially self sufficient or rich at heart), and *Khafiyy* (i.e, hidden or who refrains from showing off)." Reported by Muslim.

why do you belittle the efforts of this dawah? dakwah should be done from the smallest matter to the biggest possible matter..jihad is not only about saving ummah from getting killed..ask yourself, how deep have you involved yourself in dakwah or saving ummah?

    • @caucasian8944

did I say anything about jihad?? I want to say, that there are lots of things that are iportant than these kind of talks in this time... İf we, as muslims, continue to deal with this small details while we have big problems in ummah it will lead us to nothing

    • @caucasian8944
      @caucasian8944 Před 7 lety

ntah98 ok, and ask you also yourself how you have involved yourself in dawah... these kind of questions are mutual... İf we have big obvious deals in ummah, you should abolish them, then we can talk from our comfortable armchair about smallest matters

Subhan Allah! You are so right, brother Ali! I used to play with my friends in a band of heavy metal and basically I’ve been raised listening to music, in special rock. And I always loved it. I studied a little bit about music by myself and wallahi, it is completely scientifically that it does have effects on your brain and your whole life and akhlaq. What you showed is basic materialistic stuff about today’s science, but even before musicians were out there studying what sounds to use and what intervals to use to generate such and such feelings on people. This is a subject by itself! That’s how all the masses of the Catholic Church were composed. Lyrics are nothing destructive if you compare to the effect that the music itself, the musical instruments have on you. That’s why when I got to know that music was haram in Islam, I didn’t need any explanation, because I knew very well why this is called the idle speaking of shaytan. On the other hand, when I listened to the recitation of the Quran for the first time, I knew this was true by itself, and it stands for itself. The statement of Ibn al-Qayyim (Ra) is absolutely true. There are two kinds of “vibes” or feelings you get when listening to music and when listening to the Quran. And for sure, you can’t be in a moment of listening to music except that you’re either passing a moment of low iman, or you have a healthy iman but it doesn’t drop a little because of the music.
This video is brilliant. Keep up with the good work, brother! Baraka Allahu feekum!

Asif Dutchmaster the prophet and Allah adviced us many times to enjoin good and forbid evil. We are supposed to sincerely advice each other. The prophet ﷺ said this religion is advice. Whoever does bad we give him advice his guidance is to Allah and whoever does good we enjoin in that and promote it. That's why bani Israel was destroyed they "lived and let live" and Allah said they were cursed and destroyed because they never used to forbid evil

      But why?do you know that?

    • @hiboabdalla9042
      @hiboabdalla9042 Před 7 lety +2

Super Bug It is permissible for women to wear and use pure silk, and that it is haraam for men to do so, because of the hadeeth of ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took a piece of silk in his right hand and a piece of gold in his left, held them aloft and said: “These are haraam for the males of my ummah and permitted for the females.” And in the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both), who reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Silk is only worn in this world by the one who will have no share of the pleasure of the Hereafter.”
