Hi ActionKid! When flying from the north (like YUL) to LGA, I always suggest sitting on the LEFT side of the plane. Although the visibility was poor on your flight, you likely flew south on the Hudson river for some amazing Manhattan views and a seat on the left side would provide some great views (if there were no clouds)! I run a channel that focuses on the best views when landing in NYC. You've been flying a lot recently so I want to help you get the best images on NYC from your flights.
Thanks for the info, I didn't really have much of a choice for my seating arrangements since I suspected many people rebooked their flights due to the weather. The left side views are incredible in NYC but I'm glad I got to see the de-icing process and some stormy clouds on the way
I mainly watched the de icing, the take off and the landing. Ohhh that poor baby sneezing so many times. A little sick baby, poor thing.

i wonder why ya'll gotta walk though that long tube to get on your plane. You used to walk right on a plane, using stairs, from the ground. Lookit the ritual you all go through now. Makes the sacrifice really mean something, when the plane goes down, eh?

The jet bridge is there because it makes it much easier to board people in wheelchairs, elderly people, people on crutches, and anyone else with reduced mobility. As an added benefit, it also makes boarding for everyone else a little bit faster
