THANK GOD for Conservation Officers! They were invented for the likes of Habib. To protect buildings from IGNORAMUSES who should NOT be let loose in a listed building. That is a BEAUTIFUL Art Deco building and Habib hasn't a clue. This is VERY UPSETTING watching him destroy things that are well built, OUT OF PURE IGNORANCE.
Bless you, Sarah, for trying to EDUCATE the boy. "Oie..."

Sweet young couple. Although total newcomers, they were able to learn, take advice, and while two week course on plumbing and plastering sounds pretty minimal, at least he did do that. They really put a lot of their own sweat and hard work into it. Plus they knew how to economize, finding a kitchen for $500. My hat is off to them

I get the young couple taking a big risk. Even if they screw up there's plenty of time to find success. Their house looks great. The clueless Habib has his own personal ATM - his momma - and he probably never paid her back. And no, Habib - 1930 is not Victorian and neither is 1950. Too stupid and lazy to bother reading papers or even Googling for styles. If not for Sarah he would have totally messed this place up.
