If he didn't have to do 2 extra motos he might be getting podiums. Weird format. I get it, prob sounded great on paper. But I'd hate to have to do this to make an event then you have no energy. It's a huge kick on the nuts for "a huge payday" blah blah.
Phil needs an indefinite spot on the team. Like his contract says “you can ride as long as you want”. He makes up 80% of the teams personality, excitement, and experience.

Phil is the MAN! For racing the LCQ every week and then going out and holeshotting the mains is phenomenal! 7-9 is a great finish! Keep it up Phil and get that phat check after LA! **I do agree with Phil, if you get a good result, you should not be LCQ next Super Duper race. BUT.. that could put a factory guy into LCQ because of a bike malfunction. BUT who cares... anyone who goes from LCQ to top 15... you gotta skip the LCQ next week.
** If I could make it to the USA to see a race, I'd be looking for you guys in the paddock, first thing I do.
I hope Phil gets a podium or multiple podium before he retires. I’ve watched him enough to know that that would hurt him so bad if he retired without even getting the podium and go out the way he wants to and be happy with it. Stop trying to censor the guy on the podium, let him be him. Phil along with the whole Club MX teams is quickly becoming one of the most liked teams in the paddock from a fan prospective and it's because your authentic, so quit trying to cover that up. Fuck what FELD thinks, the people that pay them and make things happen are the fans, and the fans want the real Phil (it would be better if all the riders said how they felt instead of being all cookie cutter).
