2020 nearly crushed my soul, as it did for too many other people to count. Whilst Big D was "downplaying" the outbreak instead of preparing for it, I was being diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. As we were facing toilet paper shortages, I was undergoing a diagnostic wedge resection in a hospital that looked like a freaking ghost town. As I was starting targeted therapy Big D was telling the nation to drink bleach and inject ourselves with household disinfectants.
I remember all too well.
This monster couldn't lead us out of a soggy paper bag, let alone another global crisis like Covid. I sleep very well at night right now knowing he's not in charge of anything more than his own legal woes.
Big D's complete negligence and total ineptitude over that pandemic murdered more innocent US civilians on home soil than an any of us will ever know.
We were still losing family, friends, and community members while Big D was denying the upcoming election results before voting day even came!

Technically it’s 9.2 months (9 months 6 days not 10 months, which is 24 days more). A month is more than 4 weeks, it’s 4.348, that’s why 3 months is not 12 weeks it’s 13. 52 weeks in a year, not 48. So it’s wrong to say a woman is pregnant for 10 months, that’s why people say 9, it’s much closer to 9 than 10. As a labor and delivery nurse you should know that and you should check your math.

I’m sympathetic to women who have to make the tough decision of aborting a pregnancy in the third trimester. These ppl keep using them as political pawns not understanding these abortions are needed because the fetus will not survive birth or after OR the mother won’t survive birth. I had to have 3 abortions, 13, 15 and 17 years old. My adoptive family trafficked me from age 2 into my 20's. I was sold hundreds of times. For people like me, are we to be forced to carry any pregnancy that happens from R--- and incest? My mental state could not have withstood that, I barely held onto any thread of sanity from all of the horrific abuse I experienced and this, is just more abuse.

Many states with abortion bans do not allow for exceptions in cases of rape and incest. Even some that do require victims to prove their assaults by tracking down police reports.
Nor are there ubiquitous regulations for determining when a woman’s health is at danger. Doctors in many states with new abortion restrictions have strained to parse vague statutes while risking their medical licenses and even jail time if they run afoul of the law.

Most babies are born by 40 weeks which is technically 9.2 months or 9 months 6 days. It’s not closer to 10. There is not strictly 4 weeks in a month, it’s 4.348. By your math that would be 48 weeks in a year and there are 52. Rounding doesn’t work here. No woman wats to think she’d have to be pregnant 22 extra days by your math or more accurately 24.5. @@lspiegel5704 my math of 40 weeks + or 2 weeks is based on medical obstetrics terminology of human gestation. The point then I was making is that pregnancy beyond 9 months is actually not ridiculous as the clip we watched suggested.

States law like in Vermont place No limit on abortion. It if untill full term and does not specify the month- some women give birth after 9 months. It is extremely rare but should not exist legally.

By your math that would be 48 weeks in a year and there are 52. 40 weeks is technically 9.2 months or 9 months 6 days, not 9 months 28 days (your math of a month being 4 weeks) not more accurately, 9 months 30.437 days. It’s much closer to 9 than 10.
