Why Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising Michigan is the most beautiful place on earth

- This travel VLOG is the Pictured Rocks National Lakesore near beautiful Munising Michigan on the Lake Superior Coastline. This is truly #puremichigan at its' finest. We hiked the Pictured Rocks via the Mosquito Falls, Chapel Beach Chapel Loop trails which ended up being just shy of 13 miles. However this was a beautiful way to see the Pictured Rocks and the beautiful coast of Lake Superior. Also while we were here we had a Pasty, which is a traditional food in the Upper Peninsula or UP and they were delicious. After having Pasties we went on a sunset cruise of the Pictured Rocks to see them from the water which is something we highly recommend doing. Munising is a beautiful location and a great place to stay for seeing all of this, we recommend booking early if it is summer as rooms go fast and definitely hike a few trails while you are here, you will love it! On one of your trips up to the upper peninsula, you will have to go to Isle Royale. You can only take a boat or a plane there. No cars are there and there is tons of hiking. It’s gorgeous there.
We wanted to go there so badly but it didn’t fit into our schedule. We will definitely plan for it in the future and try to camp for a few days. We have heard this is a gorgeous place to experience remote nature at its best.
