@@connorstutsman8011 The John Wick series has run into an issue in that never for a single second do you doubt that John Wick will succeed in whatever he happens to be doing. Not once does he fail in anything ever. He gets injured, he has problems, he has limits. But those limits immediately become irrelevant - he just succeeds regardless of hardship.
In this way, John Wick is a good comparison of Lucy if you ignore the plot and focus on the premise. Both have the world against them and both have enemies. Both have allies. Both are somehow on completely different levels than anyone else, seemingly on the entire planet. Everything that both of these people do are completely, unavoidable fantastical. If you zero in on the plot, John Wick is far more realistic - its not even close, really - but as a premise both are impossible people who do impossible things. Nobody in Lucy ever even touched Lucy. Nobody in John Wick ever even came close to besting him. Thematically they are the same character. Someone wronged the movie's godlike being and said being enacts revenge.
This movie is less about conflict and more a "What if....?". The writers and directors are trying something different. I don't know why there's anything wrong with that.
tasske he did lose a finger but all seriousness he did struggle to take plenty of guys out in tht film. Which made it feel more real. Love both this and John Wick movies
There are two false information in this movie.
1. False is this : They represented that you do not have anything to do, just take drugs and you will be enlightened. Enlightenment is much harder than this in reality and only hard devoted and determined people are able to achieve it.
2. They showed all the way to the apes. People are not decedents from apes. We are god itself. We do not have soul, we are soul.

Raul Jara Saying things like evolution, gravity, the Earth being round and the rocks being hard are all indeterminable simply because they are theories and are found in text books isn't really solid evidence for reality being an illusion. Sorry mate if I'm coming off as rude but there is a lot of evidence in experiments, theories, there is a whole process and nearly everything fits together perfectly. It seems unlikely to me that science, mathematics and reality are simply illusions of the mind because of how they fit together and complex things such as Schrodinger's wave equation are observable by very simple things in our lives like communication. We don't require "ethereal evidence" to say that 1+1=2 in my opinion or A=A because they are far more than simply one text book but an entire universe of science, evidence, theories, experiment, its a whole process. Besides if you start questioning axioms like these who's to say (and these seem to be things which you believe in) that the Earth is a rock in space or that your personal reality is guaranteed by your thought? Really even if they are illusions call me weak but it just seems easier to continue in this more orderly life. Whilst I can live without a higher entity I can not continue with purpose without any certainty.
The human brain the most creative and most dangerous weapon on earth love this part we need a part two.
I love this movie I ended up renting it a while back and was definitely worth the watch. I highly recommend it!
I'm impressed. The shirtless guy at the table - even taken by surprise - gets off a surprisingly accurate shot. Too bad it didn't do him any good.

Having seen this film, the only complaint I have is that as the movie goes on, there's no tension or suspense because Lucy essentially becomes god-like, omniscient and nearly omnipotent to the point where nothing can harm her and those who try to harm her fail miserably. She overcomes every obstacle without much effort and because of this, it makes it hard to worry about whether or not Lucy dies before she can achieve her goals.
Other than that, it's a pretty interesting watch.
Peoples tend to be confused between brain map percentage and available capacity percentage. Using 100% of the brain means 100% of it's capacity not 100% of it's area. Of course we use all the areas but at low capacity percentage.
