Hi. I think it's brilliant. Thanks to your first "leak video" I found out about it and thanks to you I was smashing that refresh button like crazy on the 23rd April when campaign started. I managed to get Early Bird package and it would not be possible without you. Probably I wouldn't even know if that existed so THANKS A BUNCH GUYS.
Cannot wait till September....
That looks really exciting! Would love to try this out with DCS World and Assetto Corsa Competizione (on Bathurst specifically for some big elevation changes)
It's looking amazing so far. I've wanted a motion sim for YEARS and was ready to pull the trigger on the Yaw 1 until I saw your video a few months ago. Just like Hanys above I was F5ing like a lunatic and managed to get myself a Super Early Bird pledge then added the Pro versions of the Yaw 2 and Yaw Platform plus the seat later on.
I too would have missed out on this if it wasn't for your earlier video so thanks a lot! :oD
I have a pro on order from the Kickstarter launch (pro w/ chair and pro platform). Backer pricing came to like $2400+ with shipping to Los Angeles. A little worried about the mystery taxes but can’t wait to use it with Star Wars Squadrons 🙌🏽
What I really want to know is, how high was the seat part from the ground? I would also like to see how high it is from the ground without the yaw platform.
I wonder if the forward pitch range changes when you are lower to the ground.
Some footage of you playing without the yaw platform, getting into and out of the chair.
its soooo exciting that these motion rigs are becoming more affordable!! I hope to have one in a few years!
Saw your teaser the other day and it sparked my curiosity. I have thought about getting the first Yaw for a while as I'm an avid Flightsimmer. It just felt a little bit too devkit for me though. The moment I saw your teaser, however, and realized this was the next iteration I backed it immediately! Thanks for the first impressions! Just made me want to get this thing even more!
This looks well worth the money. Personal at home theme park.
Absolutely , it is the cheaper of all , and the better too , it will be more better when heave will be implemented .
@@netshaman9918 I wanna feel the g-force as cheap as possible. ;)
@@silenthashassin8912 absolutely.
I want this for Elite Dangerous VR !
Just because it have all : ship + srv on ground = ultimate immersion .
Hey she single lol hit me up
True! Just wish I had the physical space. 😔.
It's great to see the prototype making the rounds and getting to reviewers I trust to give an honest take!
I can't wait for September! I managed to get an Early Bird and upgraded to Pro with the Yaw platform Pro as well. I also introduced a buddy to Yaw 2 and they grabbed a Pro version for themselves also. It's going to be a blast!
So worth waiting for! Best Yaw2 Video content yet. Need Moooaaarrrr to keep me sane till September when we early backers hopefully receive our units. Thanks for this fantastic report about your experience with the Yaw2 Prototype Cas!! Subbed.
Brilliant detailed hands on review! Really enjoyed watching the video 🙌🏾 I'm definitely going to purchase one.
Great video Girls!! I can't wait to try it myself too!! It seems like a Really huge step up from the previous version!!
Yes , i can't wait to see you testing it !
Hey! Tyler here.
Hey its still not out no news no one is interested. Maybe tyriel will buy itXD
Ñ
You guys are doing so well. The fact that companies are coming round your place to showcase their equipment in a rapidly growing market is a huge statement for your future. Well done.
yes, it shows that they opinion can be bought , and that u should not trust her opinion.
@@cnschu Even though that is a real problem, that's pure speculation. So no, I'll form my own opinion.
@@cnschu And besides, it's not the point I was getting at. I was remarking on their success.
This looks amazing! I WANT IT NOW!
I think this might be on my wishlist. It’s incredible how immersive Epic Roller Coasters is just by tilting your head into turns, having a fan blowing full blast in your face, having a decent pair of headphones, and raising your arms, but this would take it to a whole other level. In a perfect world someone would be licensing out properties from Universal and Disney, and making Star Wars/Marvel/Jurassic World/Harry Potter/etc VR “experiences”.
Thanks Cas And Chary for the video. I can't wait to get me YawVR2. Looking forward to seeing a video of the G-Plattforn. 👏👏👏
As always, u ladies are doing incredible vr content. Keep up the great work & please stay safe
Big improvements! Great video once again! 😊
Epic video. Thank you for getting to review it. I cant wait for mine.
So much WIN. I think I'm gonna have to get me one of these :) Awesome that you got to test it before it's out too!
C&C, great work as always! I want the Yaw 2!! Amazing
Great video Cas, I feel much happier with my Kickstarter pledge now. Your experience with the original yaw means your thoughts have more meaning than other CZcamsrs without such experience.
I'm still waiting for them to give it to a VR CZcamsr who actually has some experience with motion simulators from other companies. They said they would but I'm still waiting. Karl Gosling springs to mind. I don't expect it to happen until it's too late and the campaign is over.
@@dtz1000 he's in England so probably a bit too far. Heard Seb from Mrtv couldn't find time for them.
i had no idea this was made by my country. Watching from Hungary, love the videos ;)
Wow! THanks for that video. I will keep the YAW 2 tracked and will likely order one. But Also, great presentation! I will also check out more from your channel.
It’s amazing they made it so cheap. Most full motion sim setups cost 10k+. And while the base model doesn’t go up and down it’s amazing they were able to make it with almost 10% of the money
So excited to watch this!! I backed the kickstarter and was hoping you ladies can give some insight!!
This looks really compelling... They seem to have done a great job with it. Personally I would get it because it can also double as a work environment. I often want to lean back, with my feet up, and work at my desk... But this is not really possible with most desk setups. So this ability to do so with the Yaw makes for a very interesting proposition as not just a gaming chair, but also a work setup.
That is actually a great excuse for buying it. I might use it as well, but I am not sure it will pass through the bs control department of my mind 😂. It will be tricky.
This looks as amazing as I imagined! Thanks for sharing, and thanks to Yaw VR for recognizing that people like me buy products based on reviews from Cas and Chary!
Happy to hear we can help a bit! Did you get one?
same name as me xD
i got confused lol
@@nooneknows3919 Nice! Hi Dan!
Hello :)
Awesome review. I see why these companies choose you. You give the best and most thorough and honest reviews. Love it. Might have to get the upgraded version
This thing looks absolutely incredible!!! I need one!!! 😂
thank for the informative video! really liked it
Ok, my turn! :) Thanks for sharing this. Looks amazing! Reminds me of back, when I had the Gyroxus chair. This is obviously much better.
Can't wait for mine to show up!! I am a little concerned about the setup, but am hopeful they will get all of that figured out before the actual launch.
Did it show up? How is it???
This is so so cool ! I really wanna try one 😁
Wow ... thanks for such a comprehensive video, you just got a new subscriber ... I have kickstarter pledge 11 :)
Great video ladies.... Can't wait to get one in my studio as well! []-)
I’ve been waiting for this
I want this. Great work as always.
Thanks Cas! Great video!
Wow, this is such a huge improvement over the first gen. Looks like they knocked it out of the park!
This same comment was already posted by a different name I’m starting to think something strange is going on 😮
@@bobzealand5692 well, idk if someone copied me or what, but I genuinely made this comment 9 months ago. Lol
@@ebaynick6988 well someone copied your comment lol
Really Really nice Video. Thanks! :)
This looks like a huge improvement over the previous version. The original looked pretty silly, but i can see myself in this one. Thanks for this video!
Thank you for this review ! :)
You are a real daredevil in an airplane lol !
I saw you have taken fun :)
Awesome review, thanks.
Thank you.. THANK YOU FOR THE CONTENT EVEN WHEN YOUR NOY FEELING GOOD.. I can tell you have a bit of a cold maybe moment of allergies.. but great info and exactly what I'm looking to learn
This looks amazing!
Great review!!!
Looks absolutely amazing
I found your older videos aren't nearly as good as your new videos im very happy to see that how you have grown on youtube you have grown as a person and now i feel like i want to subscribe
I do like me flight/space sims, elite dangerous mostly.
Thank you so much for this first look and I trust you and your opinions so I’m saving up for one within the year.
Thanks again
Thanks for the video! I have the Yaw 1 and have preordered the Yaw 2. I am very happy to hear that the setup process may be streamlined a bit. I use a Quest 2 with a HOTAS setup and run everything wireless using a virtual usb. I found the points of friction to be almost too much to bother with. I think I counted right at 12 apps/plugins required to get everything running right. The Yaw 2 appears to be a vast improvement on the hardware side. I am hoping that getting up and running will be at least a little smoother than the original.
What virtual usb are you using?
WOW! I remember the first videos about the v1 and it seemed like a joke (sitting in a bowl!). This is looking a lot more professional and serious for sim use in VR!
I didn't know I wanted something like this. I will be looking out for it when it hits the market.
it's going to be quite expensive after kickstarter finishes. I heard the price you're getting is at least 30% off (even without the early birds) just by pledging in Kickstarter.
I agree. I bought the Yaw1 from their webshop and total cost me £1700 and that was before UK left the EU. So expect to pay 20% plus import costs on top for Yaw2 if you're from the UK.
Great video thanks very much
Muchas gracias por la reseña! Y me pareció muy relevante y útil la información de que en realidad no hay tanta diferencia con la primera versión...
That was a very good review
Keep up the good work 👍🏿💯🤙🏿
Great video !!!
This review is awesome.
that's dope! i like it! i hope we can integrate this with zenith mmo while riding a vehicle
Dank je wel , jij ook een fijne avond 😁
Thanks for sharing Cas. 👍
The price is very reasonable.
9:40 They might be heavy for the Yaw, but they are not heavy as wheels go. About 5.5kg for wheel & pedals? Compare that to the Fanatec DD base (14kg), a wheel rim starting at 2kg and 8kg for the V3 pedals... 24kg is 4x the weight. And that's without an H-pattern shifter or hand brake. 😊
Never buy this for racing sims anyway😉
@@Leynad778 multi purpose, so some simulated motion for racing is OK. But yeah, for racing you want jolts and "rear traction loss" mostly, pitch and heave secondary, roll and yaw third.
@@TheJAMF First you want loadcell brakes for Sim Racing and this construction doesn't look like it can cope with them. And for motion you want something quicker with less movement. I've a GS-5 G-Seat with G-Belt plus tactile feedback and it's awesome. Otherwise I would recommend the Simrig SR1 and 2 or better. DOF-Reality have some cheaper motion setups, but they also lagging a bit. This concept here is better suited for flight sims.
I love this kind of stuff! This is going to be the absolute future people need to learn how to actually exercise in VR than sit down unless it's in a car or flight simulation game
How did I just find this channel??? No matter subbed for life! I love VR enthusiast and two smart nerdy girls is a bonus! 😁
Thanks, really interesting. I definitely agree with you on modularity! It’s a very logical elegant looking design...Laurie New Zealand
Cool, great vid
Wat is dit bizar gaaf zeg.. Bedankt voor de uitgebreide video!
Love you guys 😘
Strong work!
I will wait for version 3, which includes pressure belts and 360 movements in the 3 axes, pitch yaw roll: D ... I know that this great team is capable of making it possible ... Thank you
how did you know what version 3 will include? thanks!
@@joed.4038 I think he must of been joking.
I’m a flight sim fanatic. I got to have this motion simulator to make my flight time most real. This was a great review., as usual. Do you know when it will be available to the general consumer? Once again, thank you for a great review.
Just go take a walk in the park instead
Hahaha landen op treinrails was wel een goede triltest 😂😂
Voor die prijzen wordt het trouwens wel super interessant, verder ook benieuwd hoe het zit met de levensduur als je het dagelijks gebruikt.
Great preview!
It's a bit ironic that the base version Yaw 2 ... doesn't have yaw motion ... x-D
Nice use of the 2nd screen on that Asus laptop though!
This thing look amazing! I'll never leave Elite Dangerous.
Can't wait to get mine
I didn't even know equipment like this existed. It looks great.
Huh. Stuff like this has been out for 20 plus years
Definitely getting it. Flight sim gonna be🔥
Nice video. Looks like a good step up from the first version. Should be quite handy for flight sims in particular. Btw......where's Chary? :)
Literally would be my dream set up to have this if I had the room or the excess cash to spend and I could see people opening up VR arcades with stuff like this for people to try out
More reasons to never leave my house! Yes! Haha great video!
Thank you : )
Ohhh Cas I love that shirt! looks supercute on you!
Looks fantastic, Cas & Chary. And I always enjoy these unique bits of hardware. But even though you did mention the "standard" posting to the US, I think I would be paying twice the amount of the actual unit itself - just to get it to Australia, hahahaha. [;]-)
Very cool - they look like they have come a long way with their product development.
Thank you for your efforts in putting this video together. Good job!! I'm very interested in supporting this simulator project on Kickstarter. Have you experienced any other sim (next level / DOF reality etc.) and if so how does it compare. I know it's not going to be at a 5k level dedicated racing simulator level. But, I'm curious what you miss in-game immersion. Everyone says it would be great for a flight simulator. As long as it is halfway decent for racing it may be a good all-in-one. Please Cas since you tried it tell me the truth not what I want to hear. lol
First time I’ve see you on CZcams. Really impressed, great review with the limited equipment you had.
I’m 6’1”, but regardless of size, how difficult is it to get into and out of?
Also, for some of the more fast paced games and using the full 3dof with the 360 degrees, do you think a seatbelt might be required, or a good idea at least?
Thanks so much. 👍👍
Wow ik schrok me dood toen je zei "Fijne avond!" Hahaha
wow
hope it gets onto market soon.
Thanks for this very informative video. I already backed to get a pro version with 3dof. I first went for the normal version until i realized it would be problematic to do more than 360° with hotas or wheels connected to the PC. Not to mention the power cable...
Nice railway landing! 12:29
Looks pretty cool so far, I'd get it.
So super cool! Looking forward to the day I can afford one.... and have the extra space to put it. 😂
It's expensive, but honestly, that price doesn't seem unreasonable for what you get.
Love it.
cool video.. new subscriber here !!
Oh my...I have only just joined the VR world with an Oculus 2... this looks epic!
Kind of very intrigued by this. Definitely need to see more Racing Simrig guys giving this a go to fully understand it as our needs are quite finicky. I believe 3DOF would be ideal to have but 2DOF as stated works for most, the Yaw being for sliding motion etc. Very promising.
Heave and sway are missing so you could definitely get more feedback out of other motion system for just sim racing like the ones from next level racing but it would cost more. This is especially good for flight sims where 360 yaw would really add to the emersion.
that's cool !
Thanks, greetings from Germania
I want one of these so much.
Great price, ill buy one for sure !!!!! I cant wait !!!!!!!
I definitely would love to see if you can use the YAW 2 in No Man's Sky with VR. I'm really tempted to purchase one of these in the future, they look fun to use in games.
yes so good i cant wait to recive my Yaw 2 pro with 360 rotation :)
