I'm considering getting into this trade. Is it hard/heavy work compared to landscaping construction or masonary work?

Yes it sure is. 10 years tying steel, local 97. British Columbia, Canada and I can tell you it takes a certain type of person to be a rodbuster. Try it out, you might just love it. Whatever you do, go union though. Check this video out first. czcams.com/video/hNynmJgBptU/video.html

@@ExploreVancouverIsland If it's heavy work then I can't. I'm looking for a trade that's not to heavy on the body and in my case my hands. I broke a bone in my right wrist and fractured my right hand in 2 different spots. I go back to the hospital on the 25th of this month to find out whether I will need surgery or not and If I do, I will need screws in my wrist, therefor I won't be able to do heavy lifting. I was considering this trade because I thought it doesn't involve heavy lifting, But if you say it does, then It's not for me. And your right, Union for sure. I live In Ontario and Local 183 deals with this trade.
