    Nicely done! I think you’re the only channel with the full unit roster right now. Recently bought the high elf dlc’s, stoked to try the new units

      Yes! I figured some people would want an updated version of the warhammer 2 races.

    Mostly great guide, the shadow warriors can be used by all high elves, alith anar has a unique variant called the shadow walkers which only his faction can get, i don't really remember their stats but they did have poison attacks in melee and range.

    The high elves imo are the 2nd most versatile faction, all aspects of their army are strong, ranged, infantry, cav, monsters, the only weakness is the arty.

      Definitely, I actually thing their artillery is fine. They may only have one unit, but it can switch between anti large and anti infantry ammo.

    A normal Total War roster only needs to mention counters for Infantry, Archers, Cav, Siege. However I would suggest that these guides should take counters to monsters, flying, and Melee/Ranged heroes into account as well.

    • @WhiteCheetoGaming
      @WhiteCheetoGaming  Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks for the feedback! So like also mentioning which units are better for using against monsters and monstrous flying units too. Instead of just generalizing “use against large units.”

    • @ThreezeNiNja
      @ThreezeNiNja Před 3 lety +2

      @@WhiteCheetoGaming Yeah, with monsters, monstrous infantry (trolls, minotaurs, etc.), chariots, and light/heavy cavalry all in the "large" category the Anti-Large units have different survivability. You do mention to be ready to relieve the Sea Guard if they are engaged, so I might be overthinking things. I'm 100 turns in on my first campaign and was looking around for ideas to use units, and did appreciate your guide!
      A parting thought: Even though Sea Guard (Shields) have less men/health than Spearmen, their slightly better stats help them hold up OK on the front line also.

    • @WhiteCheetoGaming
      @WhiteCheetoGaming  Před 3 lety +2

      I’m glad you found my guide somewhat useful! Most of the times, small flying units are easily countered by your low tier anti-large units. However, monstrous units do pack quite a punch with their high mass so low tier anti-large units will still do some damage to monstrous units, but they will quickly rout. Typically, you’ll want to send your mid-high tier anti-large units after the monstrous units. Or if you have an anti-large monstrous unit, you can send them after the large monsters instead.

    The "Guardian" passive ability to give +15% Physical Resistance only applies to Lords and Heroes. You can also find it on certain heroes with I believe it's called "Protected" trait, as well as get it as a skill from one of the Handmaiden trees. To critique your guide a bit, it looks like you completely skipped all the Lords and Heroes, and kind of glossed over the special attacks of some of the RoR units such as the magic damage on Keepers of the Flame and Anti-Large on the Fireborn, which means I'm not necessarily going to use them "in the same way" as regular Dragon Princes... useful stuff for newer players to know. Also Moon Dragon Breath is the best vs. heavily armored infantry, Star Dragon Breath is almost as good but even better at doing damage to Single Entities

      White Lions are acceptable if they are in Alastar's Army, he gives them enough stat bonuses through his skill tree, that they become budget Swordsmen Of Hoeth, only with Anti-Large!

      @sandman5359 Před 3 lety

      You can make enough money with high elves, hence you dont need budget armies either. High elves are all about archers. Buy Sisters and profit. They do even better in melee than both white lions and SoH. So wouldnt touch Swordsmen either.

    Basic tip for HE in multiplayer is to skip em do to them sucking =) underperofming infantry, bad archers with a buff that u pay but does not buff them (martial mastery) no ap missiles unless u pay 1200 (a crap) and the magnificent shock cav that will do bad on the cav vs cav. My main race btw ranked up top top 30 several times with em but they suck =)
