i love scanning, im so glad i found this and the itero trainings on their page. Our office has been using it all wrong, poor body mechanics. this technique is going to save our backs!!!
Lol when you start on the back molars, if you scan the occlusal surface and buccal and lingual(just in posterior area) it's going to be easier for the itero to recognize if you want to go back and forth.
My biggest issue is saliva I've noticed I never see anyone doing these tutorials ever drying the teeth or using suction I'm a GP assistant and we find saliva one of our biggest disadvantages.
I spray air and use suction quite often while scanning .. this is probably done on an easy coworker LOL ... recession, spaces, 3rds molars , heavy saliva flow lots of different factors..some are easy to scan . some more challenging...just takes practice

Good scanning technique. Thanks for sharing
Amazing scanning technique! I just started using the itero, and I'm no way close to scanning that fast!
So many fillings!
